Southwest Abstract Co Inc E Losoya St, Del Rio

Absolutely worst company I've ever had to deal with. This place has the most unprofessional staff I've ever worked with, whether it was through calls or emails. The manager, Lois, used TWO different emails to talk to the lender and told us she was waiting on paperwork she already had in the email she wasn't checking. All of this ended up causing a delay in getting our title which pushed out our closing date. Would never recommend this place, even if it was the last option ever!

Extremely unprofessional and can’t get the work done in time. When called to speak with Lois, because Southwest Abstract was the reason my closing date was pushed back, she was rude the entire time. She answered the phone with just “yea” and was very short and breathy as if I was bothering her after not getting any updates for the delay in closing. In the email screenshots below the same behavior is displayed saying she’ll “get to it.” Refused to answer any questions as to when she could get it done after having multiple days. Would not recommend Southwest Abstract when they have “managers” like Lois Everett and end up being the only reason you can’t close on time.

Both my real estate agent and mortgage company have said working with my housing file with SW Abstract is the absolute worst experience they have ever had. They say something will be done one day, and then the people who were supposed to have it finished are mysteriously out of the office the next day. Things that should have been done weeks in advance, like surveying, etc, are being attempted on the scheduled day of the closing. I would recommend using the other title company in Del Rio. Unacceptable service when dealing with something as important as a home purchase. Very disappointing.

Very quick service, no delays, the entire house signing process was easy and all of our questions were answered in the simplest form. Great service.

Very knowledgeable at what they do ,and professional .Excellent customer service . I bought my house ten years ago they were in charge of my paper work. Just a few day ago, I needed some information about my house after ten years and i asked them for the information I needed and not only they provided me with what i needed, but I was treated like if it was just a month ago . I appreciate this place of business. Awesome People to do business with I recommend it!!!!👏👍☺ keep up the excellent work.

Quick Efficient Service. I'm a lawyer in San Antonio. Tracy a Southwest Abstract got me what exactly what i needed and emailed it to me in less than 10 minutes !!.
