SouthState Bank Memorial Dr, Jefferson

Been with South State Bank over 15 years now, 66 yrs. old and the first bank account I've ever had, Social Security made me get an account. Was the only reason I got one in the beginning. But couldn't ask anyone to be more accommodating, The people at Jefferson Georgia branch are amazing people, Even if you're just a poor man banking, Couldn't ask for more profusion service. Like today, I usually head to this bank with many many deposits for my job. The ladies here handle my bank business super efficiently and in a timely manner. I'm taking the time to say I'm thankful for these hardworking folks.

Every employee is pleasant and friendly, and if I ever have a problem or question, I just call Jill. She has always been well informed and helpful. I highly recommend this bank.

Have to wait in line over fifteen min when I walk in.then at the drive thru.I have to wait over twenty min.it's a nice bank to bank at but the wait is just to long.especially if u on lunch break is the only time I have to get to the bank.when I get off from work they none close

Update on this review: I haven't been in this bank in years since the last review because it is so "below par" .. but I had a check drawn on them so I decided to give them another try. I stood in line for an extremely long time, they seemed to be like wal mart and not have enough help. Then I present a check drawn on their pitiful bank and its not a very large check but they want to charge $8.00 to cash their OWN CHECK!! Maybe this is acceptable to some suckers .. but it truly is poor customer service and a poor representation of a bank. This branch of South State is way below Par ... We had to jump through hoop after hoop just to set up a business account, then we popped into the branch in Gainesville and they gladly set it up right away, no hoops, no problems ... just now I was there and had a deposit that contained quarters ... the teller makes a big deal because they are not rolled and then expects me to stand there and roll change ... there is a propper way to do that and a lousy customer service way ... she chose the latter ... I will not be back in that branch of South State again ... considering moving our business account from there as well, just poor customer service skills.

They have something new ever time I go. Avon watches for $2.00 can't beat their prices. Very friendly and helpful staff. Something for everyone.

I love doing business here, staff is fast, friendly and always helpful. The location is convenient as well so when asked by new locals moving into the area I always mention these guys.

Great service who explains thoroughly. Better then the dumpster called Wells Fargo down the street.
