SouthPoint Financial Credit Union N German St, New Ulm

I’m always having problems with this bank and only been with them for 6 months. Either an error with my card or heavy lack of communication. In the process of closing down the account and going somewhere else.

The employees are very professional and friendly. I especially enjoyed working with Andrea as she had a very kind and caring demeanor. Carissa, The Regional Service Manager, went above and beyond for me answering questions and consulting with her team multiple times to achieve the best possible resolution for me. Michelle, The Service Manager, has also been a delight to work with and very helpful since I opened my account with SouthPoint 3 years ago. I truly thank SouthPoint Financial Credit Union for working with me and for their friendliness/compassion that they give to their customers.

I used to love this bank everyone was friendly knows who you are etc...but after the last 2 weeks of dealing with them and jumping through hoops to get them what they need they still cant have the courtesy of calling back when they tell someone they will beyond ridiculous. Will be closing my accounts and refinancing my loans through my new bank just to never have to deal with this kind of incompetence again it's not that hard to make a phone call.

*WARNING* - I applied for a loan and they drug there feet on it for 4 days. I was promised call backs twice to never receive call backs, forcing myself to call them myself. I was also told that the registration could only have the purchasers name on, called the city, and that was a lie as well. If it were not for an emergency, I would have never opened an account here. They act as if they are better than you and do not need your business. Terrible customer service and untrustworthy.

I have had a terrible experience with SouthPoint Financial Credit Union. They have never taken care of a problem for me; have not kept promises and have generally been a company that i would not recommend anyone to work with.

I've been with Southpoint for 15+ years and recommend this Credit Union to a lot of people. They've been great to work with.

I have been with SouthPoint for something like 8 years now, and they have been such an amazing bank/credit union. I don't have amazing credit but they helped me out when I needed it for a debt consolidation loan, after the big corporate banks had tuned me down. So I have stayed with them ever since. Everyone at all locations have always been very friendly and helpful.

SouthPoint is an amazing Financial Institution to deal with! Really! Every interaction Ive had has been neighborly as well as professional. It’s literally dealing with people who genuinely care about your success. I highly recommend a financial partnership with SOUTHPOINT!

In over 30 years of banking I have never experienced the kind of personal care, dedication, friendliness, and trust that I have with Southpointe. Every experience has been above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend!

Have accounts here including a mortgage and auto loan. Staff has been super helpful with all of my questions and very easy to work with.
