The rooms were clean and the hotel was quiet. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Can't give the rooms 5 stars because the shower head left a bit to be desired. I would stay here again. I did not take advantage of many of the amenities like the pool, work out room, or laundry so I cannot give 5 stars without having knowledge of those areas. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This was a great place to stay. Fantastic amenities! Gym, laundry, even a small store. Clean and fresh room and bathroom. Room included, fridge, two burner stove, oven, dishes and cookware. They even included a pitcher! Fluffy and soft towels and great shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Ample space for work station. Bed is soft and comfortable. Clean soft sheets. Staff was amazing, friendly, and very helpful. Very easy to work with. Left before full pre-paid week was up. Immediately refunded with absolutely no hassle. Didn't even have to ask. It was automatically done. Coffee station set up by reception AND small coffee pot in room. Clean and well cared for grounds. Pet friendly. Highly recommend staying at Sonesta Suites!! It's a lovely place.

Positive: Very clean and great very helpful and courtious great staff always ready to help you. The free laundry by Appointment is also very nice. And lastly love the room size with kitchen Negative: Not really

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, great amenities such as hot tub and pool as well as a smoking area and patio for barbequing. Rooms are perfect size. Look just like a condo. Comes with dishwasher and garbage disposal. Perfect for 2 newlyweds. Will be staying for many weeks. Best hotel ever! Oh yeah and a snack bar down in the laundry room right past the weight room. They just think if everything. I never want to leave. Love it here!!!

Had to stay here while the air was getting fixed at home. Staff was really friendly. All entrances/exits well secured. Entire property has been remodeled/cleaned up making it very comfortable even though the building is older. Our room had a dishwasher, 2-burner electric stovetop, full fridge with built in ice maker, microwave and a DVD/VCR combo with the flat screen TV. Very clean. I'd stay again!

I booked the suite for my parents who came down for my graduation and didn’t have time to check the room to make sure it was nice and not creepy like some other places I’ve been in but mom checked in and she sent me pictures of the place and it was beautiful!!! They had a couple issues with their ac unit but they got it fixed really quickly! We got the room for a good price for the length of time they were here for and we will be staying there again!! Thank you so much for a great stay guys!!

Stayed for a month while me and my husband waiting for our apartment to be ready. Room was super clean love the fact that it comes with full refrigerator and very convenient nice cleaning crew very respectful I love Kevin he was really awesome with explaining things just didn’t like one staff but would stay again if needed

I just picked up a friend to go out, so I can't attest to much. But the rooms were spacious, clean full of amenities. Nice big desk, huge closet, full-size fridge with stovetop and sink. It had hair dryer, iron & board, pots & pans, dishes and glasses too. It even has a recliner that turns into a single bed. The hallways were fairly clean, the carpet had a few stains, but it smelled good.

We got the queen size room and it was very comfortable. Had everything we need from dishware to great customer service. I highly recommend this place! We will definitely book a room here again in the future.

Very accommodating! Good friendly staff. Candlewoods are great to stay at when your done eating out and just want a room tiny apartment. Showers are never the greatest. Without the proper water pressure it takes twice as long to shower.

My favorite hotel stay. You don't even have to pay for washer and dryer. They also have a mini market in case you get hungry. The rooms are very spacious and beautiful.the kitchen has all equipment like pots and pans and containers. Love this place.

Surprised me how nice the rooms were... Right down the street from poppadeaux and close to lots of other places to eat. And the rooms were fresh and clean. Don't be too out off by the lobby or the elevator door that is on its last legs. You can rest assured the room is clean and has what you need for a night or a week. Lots of food near by so you can walk to dinner and back, or you can stop at the store and grab some food to cook and chill with a fridge full of BYOB beer.

Beautiful hotel and it's set up like a studio apartment. It was very spacious, having two rooms. You have real dishes a full size stove, microwave, and refrigerator. We also had a couch and a TV in each room. Also a large beautiful bath room. The room looked amazing. The staff was also very helpful and nice. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Terrible experience. I booked a room and when I got there they had no record of my reservation. I spent 2 hours on the phone with Chase travel trying to straighten it out. That got me nowhere.i finally got a supervisor on the line and after already being placed on hold for the majority of the 2 hours she then was suppose to fix this problem and book me somewhere else and they would pay the difference beyond what I already paid them. It was now going on midnite. What does she do but puts me on hold again and we get disconnected. So I ended up sleeping in my car that night and have a long drive to Oregon in the morning. I am not happy at all!!!

Fantastic place to stay. The staff were great. The rooms were very clean and welcoming. My wife and i loved it here very much. The price for the room was the best. I highly recommend staying here if your in the area. There's we will be back again.

I think I have found my new favorite Hotel. The Staff is very polite and professional. Hotel is very quiet and super clean. Love it! Love it!

Love it here,suites are amazing,staff very courteous, knowledgeable. Rooms are great,spacious, any problems staff fixes it right away,clean,and a great price.

Located next to a ghetto hotel with drug addicts always walking around. Felt safer on the Sonesta side with the wrought iron fence in tact between the two hotels. The employees working the desk are very cool and don't ask too many questions. Very comfortable here.

Enjoyed my stay. I consider the in room ice maker a special perk! Quiet despite nighttime freeway construction nearby. Comfortable room. Pool & gym facilities available if desired.

The place smells like a locker room. Probably because the rugs in the hallway and room hasn't been cleaned in forever. No breakfast and the staff hides behind the counter. The room itself was okay but the smell from the rug was a negative. We even had a window open most of the time but still could not get rid of the odor. If you are not going to be in the room long it is okay but I wouldn't recommend it. It needs renovating.

Bad. Security in public areas os bad. My car, parked next to main entrance, was broken into and I lost a considerable amount of equipment, credit cards, passport, etc. Will not stay there again.

This was an okay place. Traffic noise was tolerable with window closed. Quiet inside while we were there. Seems like it's time for new carpeting though. Room was clean so lingering odor must be from carpet.

My stay here was incredibly enjoyable. It was very quiet inside the room, though the location being so close to the freeway might make you think it wouldn't be. The bed was SOOOO comfortable. I went there to get a rest from my crazy house and boy did I get it! I'm not sure I really left that bed too often. It was BLISS! The convenience of having a basic kitchen setup is a really nice touch, especially if you're traveling on a budget or staying an extended period. Speaking of, the room price is WAY more reasonable than it should be. I've paid quite a bit more and walked away half as pleased with my experience than is the case with Sonesta. Can't recommend enough.

My friend lives here. I personally think it is overpriced. There is a pool, jacuzzi, bbq, and free use of the laundry with a sign up sheet. It isn’t bad. It is just average. There are no bugs and the rooms are non-smoking.

The rooms are very spacious and you can relax and feel like you are home! Staff is always willing to lend a hand and very friendly

Stayed for 100 nights, due to a medical issue. The room was great, full kitchen with all the utensils and pots and pans. The bathroom was a good size, and clean. Housekeeping always did a wonderful job. Bed was comfortable. Staff always helped with questions and concerns. Really liked the free laundry washer and dryer room, plus the heated pool and hot tub. A great place to stay. Will do it again!

Wowza what a wonderful place to stay. Top notch. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff is very helpful and nice to talk to. Pool. Gym. Laundry. ‘Candlewood cupboard’. (Food room) is awesome. + Room service menu!! Plus a Full kitchen and Large bathroom. And let’s not forget - free coffee in room and to go coffee options in the front lobby. Plus they even left me a bag of popcorn! Once you’ve checked in. You won’t have a reason to leave. They have every aspect of your needs taken care of. Including board games you can check out to play. So very pleased. Highly recommended

Good place to stay long term (2 weeks) in Phoenix. Good: bed was very comfortable. Large refrigerator with ice machine. Stove top and dishwasher. Breakfast bars and free coffee in the morning. Small convenience store on-site. Laundry machines. Good gym. Smells like candles everywhere! Bad: TVs were very dark (I didn't watch so it didn't bother me). Was told room would be refreshed on Thursday but it happened on Sunday and the bottles of bodywash/shampoo were not refilled. One way road in front if hotel so if you miss the turn you are driving a bit to get back.

If you are looking for a spot to just be quiet, and relax this is the place! The Hotel Staff is Top Notch, kind and considerate. We stumbled onto this Place and glad we did! You will be as well. Gary

Courteous Employees, Property kept very clean. Rafael is a dedicated hard worker. I Would highly recommend to anyone with or without pets.

Found two living baby roaches in the room, stains on the bed sheets, a weird wet dirty smell. The hallways were dingy and there were lots of homeless/drugged up folks hanging around. The only positive was that they allowed pets. Had to stay there for 2 days with a u-haul in the parking lot and it was definitely sketchy but the u-haul and our entire household packed inside was untouched when we left. So that’s good.

The gentleman who checked me in upon my arrival was amazing! He went above and beyond for customer service. Every day that I walked through the lobby one of the employees would always greet me. The rooms are wonderful. I asked for a quiet area and spent my week on the 3rd floor. Perfect! If I had to say one bad thing, it would be that the seal on the inside of the toilet was leaking and would run all night so I closed the door and couldn't hear it. My fault for not turning it in but I forgot. Edited to add from response: Again, it's not the fault of the staff. It's my fault for not turning it in but thank you for the apology.

Pleasantly surprised! Building is old and richety and the hallways are hot, but once inside a room it was very nice. Spacious, clean with a full size fridge and little stove top. Our home wasn't quite ready and we needed a place to stay for a couple of weeks and it worked out nice.

Edited this post due to I was commenting for a previous hotel stay at a competitor. As for my current stay. Hotel staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean, modern, and very functional. Bed is comfy and the pillows are fantastic! Amenities are fantastic as well! A great place to recharge after a long day/night.

This was just an OK place for a couple of nights for us. Convenient for the I 17 but with that came traffic noise. They do supply earplugs (which tells you something) but they can be uncomfortable. However the place itself was quiet. No door slamming or loud clients. Suite was quite small. Did have a functioning kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. No oven but a two ring hob. Maintenance should have been better as one towel hook fell off the wall as well as the ironing board rack. The free laundry was a bonus and was being well used. There is a large shopping area nearby with plenty of restaurants to choose from if you want to eat out. The light valley metro runs into downtown and beyond starting at Dunlap which is close by. I believe there is a park and ride lot there too. $2 per ride or an all day pass for $4.
