I am leaving one star. My recommendation for this business is to be aware that not everyone who goes in here, is an expert like you guys, it might be their first time trying to pawn or sell something, and might need some guidance and some patience, not to be met with a hostile employee. I went in there, first trying to pawn 3 items, a cellphone, tablet, and video game console, but they instantly rejected the items other than the cellphone (weird because in the other places they accepted to evaluated all 3 of them, and I would expect it more from this place, as they are situated in more humble area than the ones in Scottsdale). Here's my experience: First, the lady who assisted me, a dark-haired woman with tatted arm, and full of jewelry, she wasn't very helpful, nor nice. (somewhat rude, if I am being honest). She asked me something about the item, which I did not understand, even after me asking her, she made no clarification of what she meant, she just repeated the question, gave a never mind look, and then proceeded to ignore me. She goes somewhere, then comes back with my cellphone offering $30. Yes, $30 for the cellphone for which I got offered $300 in one pawn shop, and $450 in another. After going to the other places, I felt like in here they were just trying to mock me, or insult me. Unfortunately this was the first one I checked out, because it was closer, but it was not worth it at all, I wasted my time. After that, I went to North Scottsdale Loan and Gold, and the Scottsdale Pawn Shop, they are quite close to each other. Both places they had a welcoming, helpful, and friendly employee assisting me, and an actual offer, not an attempted rip-off.

I worked with Troy, Jerry, & Dulce on a Title loan. They were amazing & professional as a team. Troy went above and beyond to ensure I had all the information prior so I could make a well informed decision. I would rate my experience a 10/10. I highly recommend doing business with them in any capacity and I promise they will be fair!

I recently bought a judge revolver and Troy assisted me, excellent customer service from the initial call leading me to the store all the way through the sale. Highly recommend this place, great customer service!!

Second time walking in to do business with NPP and it won't be my last. Kinda shocked how organized the whole shop was. (to be honest I had no desire to buy anything else after I Picked up my Xbox I got a loan on) It's the ONLY pawn shop I've been too where everything is organized and methodically laid out so customers can see the merchandise and the prices. Troy saw me looking at the phones and was right there to show me the phones in the cabinet. From the moment I walked in Troy was there to help me with all my pawnshop questions and needs. If I owned this pawnshop or Any business I'd definitely want an employee like Troy to Represent my company. (keep it up dude) The phone I ended up buying was a smacking deal, I couldn't pass it up. It's the only pawn shop I've been too where everything has a place and if it Doesnt for some odd reason don't Worry Troy will find it one. Thanks again North Phoenix Pawn for the screaming deal on my new iphone now I can FaceTime with my nieces that are across the country. 🤙 Godbless

The lady was very friendly but they tried to sell me a Nikon lense for $250 that Walmart is selling brand new for $200. Greedy for a pawn shop.. Check your online prices before buying here.. They also had a Nikon 3500 that was just as much in price as buying brand new.

Offered me 100$ for a 1500$ Sony camera if you are looking for a place to sell ur items for a good price here is not the place to do so

Lorraine is always so helpful. We come in on numerous occasions and she always gives us amazing service. We prefer to work with only her!! I rate her a 10 out of 10.. such a great employee🤗

Making my first pawn at this establishment as I type this. Currently being helped by an employee named Troy and he was a HUGE help. Normally I don’t take the time to make reviews but due to the assistance received from Troy I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take time and give him a recommendation for his hard work. Made my whole trip there nice and easy. Hoping his hard work pays off for him in the future.

I had just caught my husband cheating and he left the day rent was due and drained our bank account leaving me with a $900 rent payment due with no time and no options. I had a few things I could put up for pawn but everywhere else I had taken these things I had been turned away, but not here. The employees are extreamly kind and helpful. They took care of me here and I got my rent payed. I am so greatful for this place and all of the wonderful people that work here. I wont be going anywhere else. Thank you so much North Phoenix Pawn! You guys are amazing!

Lorraine is always extremely helpful when my girl and I are shopping at the Pawn shop.For instance our last time shopping we was looking for a galaxy smartwatch.It was a discrepancy on certain watches because they didn't call in or call out.She personally sat and looked it up to verify we was getting the right watch.

i would like to clearly say that the older man who helped my boyfriend and i was very nice. i do not remember his name, nor think i actually caught it. the women there were very rude and unprofessional to their coworker. he was trying really hard to understand how to use the switch that i was pawning, he clearly asked for help because he is not tech savvy. one woman helped him at first but then just kept telling him he was doing it wrong. when he asked for help again, the lady kept talking smack and saying he’ll never learn. we’ll he isn’t if someone won’t help him. the poor man kept apologizing for how long it was taking. he was very helpful and very professional.i will only be coming back to this place because of him.

Went to the Black Friday Deals! Had a great employee help me out and guide me to what I was looking for! Definitely recommend talking to Lorraine when you shop here! Will return again!

I originally just come in to get my Amazon packages , everyones always so friendly when I walk in. Troy helped me out finding a new laptop for my business since my hard drive was smashed on my old one. He was patient , friendly and communicated everything I needed info on. Even helped me look at things I can put on layaway to have them ready for Xmas for my son! Definitely will be back and highly recommend. Way better selection and customer service than the other pawns I've been too.
