Sol's Jewelry & Loan S 120th St, Omaha

Been buying gold from Sols for years and they still want to offer me less than their competitors for gold when I go in to trade. There's a couple good people there but the guy who calls the shots isn't good at retaining loyal customers as I went right down the street to ez money pawn and was given a substantial amount more and was treated with respect and welcomed as I walked in the door by the owner. I found my new store and won't be returning to sols.

Price on jewelry is outlandish. Can buy the same thing and new for 90% less than what they are asking for.

I bought an anniversary band years ago and recently had it and my wedding ring resized. Borsheims said they couldn't do it, but the staff at 120th street successfully resized them and made them look brand new. I wouldn't have thought of Sol's, but while at the 144th Street store one of the staff mentioned having the jeweler at 120th give a second opinion. I'm so glad I did!

Jackson provided excellent service to me last week and has a few others times too. I am very satisfied with prices given for buying or selling. John in management is a professional and has also went out of his way to make sure the customer is taken care of. Thank you! Josh

I normally only visit to do business with Candy, but today I called and then stopped by to sell a firearm. Big mistake!! Erik lied in front of the heavier set guy about the price he told me on the phone. Then, proceeded to raise his voice when I confronted him about lying. Unless you are desperate, find another establishment to do business with. Very unprofessional and sloppy.

A very pleasant experience! I was going back and forth to retail jewelry stores trying to decide on a bracelet for my mother's Christmas present. My grandfather suggested checking out Sol's because he has shopped there for years. I had never set foot inside a pawn shop before, so I was not sure what to expect. Right away I knew I was in the right place. I was greeted by a gentleman I had often seen featured in a special "mommy" segment for the midday news. This made me feel comfortable....knowing that I was dealing with a reputable man. His name is John and he is the manager. John and the lady who also helped me both knew more about jewelry than anyone I had spoken with at the national chain jewelry stores I had been to! They were also much nicer. There was so much to choose from, but I finally settled on a bracelet that was heavier gold and had better quality diamonds than the one I almost bought at the other store. The BEST PART: It was $305 cheaper!! I bought a wonderful present that made my mom's eyes water, and I kept money in my pocket at Christmas time!! Thank you Sol's!

Originally my fiancé and I had a bad experience with the customer service at this location. The very next day the owner of Sol's himself went the extra mile to reach out and contact us. He apologized to us and said he would be talking to his staff about this . I've never had an owner of business reach out and try to make it right like this owner has. Absolutely Amazing!

I have done business at this location for years because John is an expert in precious metals and he is an honest man. I have sent many clients to John for these reasons and I will continue to be a client myself.

TRUSTED THEM BUT NOTHING IN RETURN CHTISYMAS RUIN FOR 12 YR old boy I bought a playstation vr headset and the quality of the product is great but my main question and i asked them 4 times if this system was complete (it was missing a camera that was a main thing needed could play it without it we had a playstation 3 and a computer cam but neither worked )and they stated all the 4 times that it was. So christmas eve my son opened his present and was so happy and excited and than we set it up and guess what it was complete and he was crushed and being a holiday weekend nothing open he spent SAT SUN AND MON without playing with he new present which i bought it at a pawn shop cause i couldn't afford a new one and that was his only present and I trusted them never again! what really bothered me is i went back to sol that monday on the 27th after work and told them and all they could say if you bring it back we can return it ;like they couldn't trust my word that it wasn't complete after i trusted them . i told them i dont want my money back i wanted my son to enjoy his christmas and cause of your ability to make sure what you told a customer was true you just assumed and that caused my sons christmas no to be complete and just a horrible memory thanks and REALLY no COMPANSION for what this memory will always be for my son THANKS FOR NOTHING ....

This place is really cool I mean maybe I'm just old or something but I do like to be talked to kindly and made to feel like at home and they are really polite I don't know if their prices were very good but they worked with whatever I bought next time I'm back here in town I'm going here

I had the pleasure of showing my 18k Australian opal ring I considered pawning to the District Manager, Tom. I only decided to show them my ring after seeing an Ethiopian Welo ring, (a gorgeous opal but by far inferior to an Australian gem opal,) for $13,000!!! My ring had just been returned from being appraised by an Australian Opal cutting company appraised at $12,000k. That appraisal was JUST for the opal not including the value of the gold. You can imagine i was excited to see ive found a company who is qualified to sell an inferior opal for an ungodly amount. Tom took out his loop and slowly checked out the opal. He turned the ring to the side and closely inspected the opal further. Finally, after closely inspecting my ring, Tom weighed the ring and offered....$100!!! How in the fudge could you even pretend you're qualified to sell $13000 opal that's inferior but you're not qualified to offer a somewhat decent value of a superior opal??? Naw bruh,you must have thought I was dumb to think I would believe such a blatant lie. I feel sorry for your clientele. Clearly Tom has grown accustomed to ripping people off.

I didn't end up purchasing from this location, but I was looking for a Les Paul semi-pro kind...Sols at two different locations than this one, also have a large selection! The guitar guy at this location and I talked for a while. He's a real chill cat, and very VERY knowledgeable. He told me to check the Millard location (where I found what I was looking for at an AMAZING price) Roger is his name...he'll give you the grand tour AND he can play like Mark Knopfler. The take away... Roger is great for anything guitar, the selection at locations is wide ! And the prices are great!

Doing business with Sol's has been good for our company in terms of saving money, and we recommend them to anyone looking to purchase tools and equipment of any kind. The prices are good, and the quality of the merchandise has always been excellent with anything we have purchased. The people who work there are friendly and respectful. I point this out because it is rare to find either quality in any employee these days. Not only are the employees at Sol's nice when you buy things, but I have heard several transactions where the customers were treated very well when selling items. We will definitely continue doing business at this Sol's location.

Good people to work with and they offer fair prices. I have both bought and pawned. Fun to look at the unique items they get from time to time. I definitely like their jewelry selection and prices. Sure beats paying retail.
