The employees are friendly and helpful. I was trying to pawn some items that they don't usually take. Instead of telling me that he tried for over an hour researching my items to get there value. He wasn't able to do much for me in that way but I really appreciated the effort he put in.

It was a great place to visit I feel that some of the items especially the ones that I was looking for we're a little overpriced

They give you waaaaay less for your items. They tale all the value out of your items. Makes you feel sad, and desperate.

If I pawn something it solves it's because it's an emergency emergency they don't even try to give you a semi Fair market value for your item. And yet their merchandise is marked up 3 to 400% from what they paid for it. When I do have to go I generally go to the one downtown much better place

Great prices on high end watches. These guys love to make deals but don't make offers you can't keep.

I have purchased guns, 2 very nice watches, tools, a drum set, a lawn mower, snow blower and in all tens of thousands of dollars over what I would had paid buying retail. Not once have I ever felt high pressured to buy something . The store is like Cheers in a way as everybody knows your name. I love going into the store and exploring what they have for sale. They have repaired one of the things I bought there without even a hint of hesitancy to accept responsibility for a defective product. They offered to refund my money or repair it after they examined it and discovered it was not in satisfactory condition when sold. I elected to have it repaired which was perfectly done. To make my stops at 120th even more pleasant, John, the manager at 120th, is very friendly and for lay people buying a new toy like a table saw or drill stand I had picked out picked out, John took the time to find out what I was going to use it for and explained why I would make a mistake buying the more expensive one due to the fact they were not well made. I have followed his advice and in doing so I purchased models that were significantly less expensive and they have been extremely durable over the years, John is an expert on almost everything they sale. He honestly evaluates the item being sold and will tell you what is the Best Buy for what you need. His honesty is very refreshing. That honesty has been imparted on his employees and there has never been an instance where I felt pressured to buy something. I bought a $350.00, nearly new gas powered generator, from him this winter. John expertly guided me to the proper size unlike in the retail stores I looked at where they were trying to up sale me to a $1,850.00 model. It is a very unique store at 120th just north of Center. They have opened a store in Millard on the south side of Millard Ave and it has the same customer friendly atmosphere.

Friendly, helpful staff. Lots to browse or buy. A bit expensive to put items in pawn, but same as about everywhere else, so can't complain. They kept my pawn and layaway longer because I hadn't been able to get them due to COVIDand car breaking down, I was very thankful for that!! They are willing to negotiate with you on pricing, which is a plus!!

Great place for tools for sure.when posting this i was busy, but nothing changes, tbis is probably my first go to place , and not just for tools, but most anything seasonal, and super jewelry selection, and i am 90 percent sure to get what i need at an additional discount, than already reasonable prices. Staffs great, very helpful.

This is the Sols to visit! Top $$ if you want to pawn something. They have a lot of cool items to check out for sale. The staff is very nice.

My girlfriend and I stopped in to get some cameras. I dont remember their names but they were both super helpful. Explained differences between models and lenses and how to swap or change everything. Then after that helped us out on a good bundle deal for cameras, lenses and battery chargers. Overall great experience

Hayden was awesome. Very knowledgeable and patient with our questions. I felt he was genuinely concerned that we have a good experience. In the end, we felt like we got a great deal. We'll be back!

Today, December 26, 2020, I showed up to the Sol‘s jewelry and loan to ask for help testing my car stereo. A manager named Brad Bryson did a bench test and re-connected wires that had come loose. After hooking it back up to my car, everything worked fine again. I spent some trouble trying to figure out what was wrong with my stereo, and Brad Bryson save the day. Thank you guys and happy holidays.

The gentleman helped me out by taking links out of my watch most of all he was polite courteous helpful and for his services all he wanted was a high five thank you

They def don't give you what ur item is worth I brought a laptop never used I paid 600$ for they gave me 100$ they sell them for over 300$ yeah not impressed

staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. most merchandise is reasonably price, with the exception of instruments and bicycles. I found new bicycles for less at Walmart and instruments cheaper other places. Main thing I hate about this store is there is so much stuff the store is way too crowded with stuff, plus customers when gets busy. They also don't keep store very clean, even before covid. now they/customers don't have to wear masks, don't see them clean shelves, and don't practice 6ft apart social distance. very afraid go there for fear of getting covid. are employees required get covid vaccines ?

Not a safe place. I narrowly avoided 3 men breaking and entering with guns that stole from the business a week ago

If you are in the market for jewelry, tools, guns, electronics, or bikes then this place is great. If you need to pawn or sell something then no, you will walk away feeling took and regretful. I understand the need to make a buck, but Sols will have you feeling foolish on top of it all. Better places in town, with better manners and prices. Do your homework before pawning

Brad and Eric did a phenomenal job cleaning and polishing our wedding rings! Wow! Super quick and they had incredible shine! Much better cleaning than where the rings were originally purchased. If you need any jewelry deep cleaned and polished back to its original luster ask for these guys they will not let you down. Thanks for everything guys!

My opinion in dealing with any pawn is a little sceptical but that is the norm . My first visit wasn't as pleasant and professional as it should have been. But that didn't stop me from doing business with them , I spoke with a guy named Chris my 2nd visit and I have to say he's really what every place of business dealing with customers should have working for them. Chris is very professional, far , honest and will try and give you the best deal possible. He makes the customers feel a little bit of joy when spending their hard earned money. Keep up the great work Chris and team.

I've been going to this location for a while now and have noticed a sharp decline in not only customer service, but in pricing on items as well. The staff went from greeting you at the door, joking with customers, and positive attitudes to subpar customer service and a chip on their shoulder when asked questions about anything. Bargaining and haggling is half the fun of going to pawn shops. In months prior I had no issue doing so. All of the staff were always an absolute pleasure to work with and at times, flat out fun. Smiles as we would go back and forth with prices and working out a deal with no issue. As recent as last week, everything I was interested in was subject to a Google/eBay/online retailer search to quote, "sell if for what it's worth". I didn't think much of it until the prices for items were mere dollars shy of what I could get in a retail store (that offer warranties and have knowledgeable staff regarding items I purchase). The unwillingness to negotiate prices in addition to the sharp, condescending tone was an absolute shock. I made it clear I wasn't looking to be difficult and was simply looking to negotiate prices as I had in the past. But to no avail, the attitude was maintained as if I was trying to rip them off or start a confrontation. I more than understand the store has to make money, but this is the same place I've purchased car audio equipment, some sporting equipment, and loads of electronics over the years and have always been able to work out a great deal. What now makes things difficult is that I've witnessed pawns completed without even looking at a computer screen and offers were made WITHOUT assessing a value to the items. Why try and get top dollar when you didn't know what you had without looking it up? Did you look it up to get the customer the best possible price when buying it in? Of course not, and it shows when someone who knows more than the staff about the item in question. Maybe I'm just complaining, but I just want the old Sol's back. They always negotiate. On the prices with me. Don't always come down as much as I want in order to get some things but they do more often than not.

Will give someone 300+ for a pool sick but 100 for a multi karet ring. 35 for a limited PS3.... 15 for goty spiderman plus Tekken 7... ....... Sol had officially lost its golden touch!

My husband and I walked into Sol’s today on 72nd looking for a new wedding ring for me. Hayden came over and assisted us in looking at one. He was very helpful and polite and had great customer service skills. He worked out a deal with my husband on the price and I have never been happier. Since he was so helpful my husband was also able to purchase him a bow and arrow for bow fishing and he gave us a deal on that as well. I will now ask for Hayden every time I go in there and if I could give him 10 stars I would. He was very patient with me and answered all of my questions. I will be coming here a lot more now as the customer service is great. A big thank you to Hayden. I rate him as one of your top employees.

Was looking for a weed whacked didn't end up getting one there. Not for lack of trying. Was helped by a young customer service rep Stone, he was extremely helpful!! Made sure to try and start up before I purchased. After a few attempts called other stores for me to locate what I was looking for. In addition the quoted price for the item was reasonable.

I always feel like I'm doing something illegal when I look at handguns here. Like I should be wearing a trench coat and carrying fake identification. I have found most of the newer model handguns to be too close to new pricing to make it worth buying used.
