    worked with SmartBiz Loans to Apply for an SBA loan. It was a great experience and it also gave me an opportunity to think about my business from a lender's perspective, which was very helpful in evaluating our business. The person assigned to my application process, David L., was amazing to work with; he was very responsive and made the process easy to understand. Each request was explained so that we were always on the same page, which made it easy to gather all documentation, because you knew exactly why it was required. Just a great experience. I would recommend SmartBiz to anyone seeking SBA or other funding for their business.

    I would give a rating of ZERO stars if I could. They are a horrible company. I applied for a PPP loan & they would not answer the phone or respond to emails. They didn't post any information regarding loan status via the application portal for MONTHS. I found a legit lender but because Smartbiz would not respond & would not withdraw my application, I lost out. When they finally started taking phone calls I called them & was hung up on when I inquired why they never returned a single email. Very unprofessional. I disagree with another reviewer's comment that the loan declination must be due to "unorganized entity structure." I have used my same "unorganized entity structure" for a different successful loan yet received the same response as others: "Improper guarantor identity authentication. Application not approved due to indications of ineligibility." I emailed them in December to give them an opportunity to address my discontent and (shocker), no response. Pay attention to those negative reviews.

    UPDATE- After connecting with executives on Linked In, we were able to resolve this issue within days. ORIGINAL-Completely unresponsive and unable to correct errors on our PPP loan which was approved over 2 months ago. Numerous bugs in the online app. We have called and emailed support, our Rep and everyone else in the email chains, but zero results.

    The team at Smartbiz loans is disorganized and incompetent. They lost track of our PPP loan. This locked us out of applying to the SBA through a different loan service while the folks at Smarbiz loans kept on telling us that they were working on it for almost 4 months. In order to cover their behind, they lied to us and emailed a couple of days after the deadline passed. The email simply stated that our loan application had missing information. One word sums them up - WORTHLESS

    In the near future, if you decide to choose SmartBiz, pay no attention to the negative reviews. After applying for a PPP loan before the deadline ended, it was only then we decided to check their reviews & every negative comment did not apply to our experience! It's very possible that many experienced complications with their process due to the fact of unorganized entity structure. Without reaching out to SmartBiz, they updated us frequently in regards to our process for funding. We had only "one" misunderstanding from an automated message that was addressed promptly. It is our hope that this positive review guides others into using SmartBiz Loans as we've successfully funded our business through these uncertain times! (by the way we were funded in a month!)

    I obtained my second SBA loan with Smart Biz Loans and I cannot say enough good things about them. My process was extremely simple from start to finish. Everything was extremely fast, professional and easy. It didn't take long at all for the funds to be directly deposited right into my checking account. A lot of other banks said PPP money was no longer available but Smart Biz Loans got it done for me WITH THE QUICKNESS. The whole process was a breeze and I would HIGHLY recommend Smart Biz Loans to anybody!!!

    I applied on March 9th for first round PPP, and I got this email today, I emailed them numerous times for updates with no response. I was approved for $36,000. I sent in all paperwork they asked for and then some.. These guys are a joke. Do not waste your time applying. Go to an actual bank. This is what they sent me. Thanks for using SmartBiz. However, at this time, we are unable to refer you to one of our SBA lenders. The reason(s) we cannot currently refer your business for an SBA loan are the following: Improper guarantor identity authentication. Application not approved due to indications of ineligibility. At this time, we are unable to continue processing your application because it did not meet our minimum program requirements. We are unable to provide additional information regarding this result.     I applied with them on 3/17. They responded very quickly initially. On 3/19, I received an email that they were processing my application and would continue to do so unless I contacted them to cancel. I replied, asking them to cancel. I received another email on 3/21 with the same info, I again asked them to cancel. On 3/26, I again requested that my application be cancelled (I have another application pending with a different lender, that I could cancel with one-click, but don’t want both applications cancelled only to start all over). I have absolutely received no communication except for the form letter that my application is still being worked on. If they are so inundated with applications, they shouldn’t accept anymore instead of taking care of the customers that they already have.

    Absolutely an organized and seamless process for business loans. Start to finish with $ in hand 6 days!!! They made everything so incredibly easy. Excellent communication.     The WORST Customer Support I have had an absolutely atrocious experience with your team. I applied for my PPP loan back in April was pre-qualified for a loan, and over the past 30+ business days have received no help from your team. I have had colleagues who had fantastic experiences with your company, however, mine has been the polar opposite. As the PPP loan window closed on the 31st of May, my loan was still "processing" and I'm afraid I won't be able to get that loan, which my small business desperately needed. It appears as though my last few emails were simply ignored and disregarded by your support team. I'm still needing the same information and a response would be appreciated, as it has now been 31 business days since I applied and prequalified for my PPP loan, and 10 business days since this previous email was sent and seemingly ignored by your support staff. I'm becoming very disappointed with your services, especially after you were able to fund colleagues of mine in less than 10 business days.

    I have been calling and emailing since April 13th about my loan application. I know of plenty of people who don't even have legitimate businesses who have gotten their loans, or at least some kind of decline about it. I send an email to the support team and Natlie GS nearly daily, and I would at least like to know if I was declined or not so I can look at other funding sources, but alas, no one ever answers the phone, and apparently emails either.

    Please beware before you apply with this entity or share your sensitive data. I don't believe they are a legit business. My initial loan that was submitted was not processed due to 'improper guarantor information', sent them several emails and NO RESPONSE. NO human to talk to. I've gotten approved for PPP loan with another lender but funds cannot be issued because of this smart biz loans is holding up my application. I can't the application withdrawn. Please just go to your bank or a reputable organization.

    Awful service, I think they might have gone bankrupt. I experienced what all the other comments say. They approve you in no time, then you wait for weeks only to find that apparently my company has not got a valid guarantor, I thought that was SBA. Now they don't reply to any emails, neither personal ones nor generic info and help addresses. They came recommended by K-Servicing (previously Kabbage) after they failed to process the application after three months of sending emails requesting non-relevant information. K-Servicing is owned by American Express who refuse to take responsibility for any of this.

    Put my loan information for my second draw PPP in February its now June and no response from the emails that where sent to the company and only a message when you call they do not pickup the phone upon reading reviews as to how they approve you then turn around and deny you im doubtful I will even be approved I really wish I would have used my original company they where a little slow but at least took the time To communicate with me and it only took 40 days not months later! Will update when or if I ever hear from the company but still going to make sure my credit monitoring is on because it sure makes me nervous I gave them personal information as well as fill like the reviews that are good reviews are made up by friends and family! And will also be writing a review with the BBB.

    No communication, no-one to talk to.... Waited with k servicing for 2 months then told i had to re-apply with smart biz... I can't tell you which of the two businesses are worse!! Fellow business members have applied reviewed and been funded through other lenders within 2 weeks! Its been 3 months total process. Very disappointing discouraging and you are stuck because you can't apply with other lenders or you get stuck! I wouldn't recommend them if you are a small business struggling to survive! They do not care!!

    Loan # 5319675 If I could rate zero I would. I start off with Eric Foley. He was able to give me all the way to bank review and then stop communication. My application has been on file with smart business since January 11, 2021. It has been sent to the SBA and held up with tab bank. I’ve emailed every single day and got no response this lender is holding me up I’m applying with other lenders who are willing to give me funded and approved. I literally emailed every single day since February 5 2020. If I don’t get any response by the end of this week I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and the SBA complaint line to see how can I remove any connection with Smart biz. All I want is to be funded and he shouldn’t take three months

    I applied for a PPP loan with this company because my regular bank’s portal had a technical problem and I had a huge sense of urgency for the loan. I immediately completed the application. Over 6 weeks, I tried by phone and email to my loan support person, a Christian Simmons, to check on the loan status. There was absolutely NO COMMUNICATION. I then after 6 weeks received a denial for a bogus technical reason. I again tried to contact them to figure out how to resolve the issue and NO COMMUNICATION. Meanwhile, 6 weeks have passed. This company has HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. If the loan is important to your business, find a better company.

    Really a struggle to reach anyone here. I have been trying to get my loan processed for a month now. They have gone quite for the past two weeks. You cannot call and actually talk to anyone. You can only email. I've been emailing every day for a week, and no response. I get it, they are busy. I'm busy too. But I always respond to my client. Smart Biz Loans does not.

    I have referred 16 of my tax/accounting customers that are small business owners to Smart Biz and only 3 got funded. I have been getting a lot of negative feedback from the other 13 customers as some been pending since mid February and the smart biz site said they fund up to 14 days. They have been emailing the support email with no response or update. This is not only frustrating them but also for me because I referred them and now they are threatening me. Is there anyway you guys can respond back to these people before I lose part of my book of business because of your neglect. Thank You. UPDATE here are the loan application numbers in the order of their submission dates so you can research. Thank You 5618724, 5678559, 5705687, 5703700, 5720580, 5733238, 5851828. The others are still in their 10-14 day window, so I won't bother you about those yet.

    I have sent multiple email the past 3 weeks and nobody answer me. You guys made a mistake on my Second Draw application, you submitted it for the wrong amount using the 2020 taxes instead of 2019 hurting my ability to get the amount I am able to get. I have asked many times for you to cancel it and you won’t answer my emails. I spoke with other lenders who are just waiting for you to cancel so that they can send a new application for me, and they all say the same thing “All SmartBiz has to do is to login into the sba portal and cancel the loan”, however you guys won’t do it. I am tired of waiting for you and I already have a lawyer and will go ahead with taking you guys to court for this.     The most terrible loan company to ever do a loan with. It took almost a month for my loan status to move through properly. Secondly, signed the documents only to find out that some inexperienced representative didn’t secure the loan documents properly so the bank didn’t fund me. Documents expired leaving me in limbo for days on end with no clear representative to assist you or no correspondence from anyone. No one to call and if you emailed, that went on for days before a response. Now I’m finally being funded and that’s going to take almost two more weeks before I’m funded this loan I applied for in January. Wow that’s great service... No poor poor service. I don’t recommend. Go somewhere else.

    Hi, I applied for my loan on 3/4/21 and the last email I received was on 3/14/21 saying that my application was in the final stages of approval. I wanted to know if my application has been approved? If not can my application be canceled so that I can work with a different leader before the deadline 3/31/21? The SBA said the application process should only take 14 days or less I have tried to call as well as email and I got no luck. This is an urgent matter!! Please respond!! Application # 5726400

    Trying to get a response from the smartbiz email is non existent. I have emailed them three times to tell them the loan papers they keep emailing me about are wrong and need to be changed. It is as simple as changing the check box from first draw to second. Taking two first draws would be fraud. Edit May 1st The issue was in my end so I am changing my rating. Still it was very hard to get in touch with someone.

    DO NOT RECOMMEND. I assisted my parents with their PPP loan and THREE MONTHS LATER still says pending! Everyone else we know that used other banks had no problem. There have been no replies to emails sent and there is NO PHONE NUMBER to speak to a human. We will be reporting them to SBA!

    For the first PPP it took them more than a month, but I still gave them another chance and applied for the second PPP. For the second PPP I only received one email saying the SBA will take some time to provide the PLP number, I emailed them after two weeks from that email, and I was told I was about to be funded by my bank, that didn't happened, I emailed them again and they said they got the first application confused with the second one, and that a ticket was created to fix that, I asked them if it was going to take longer and they said "Unfortunately yes" like if it had no importance to anyone. I am frustrated because my loan is very small but I really needed, and I see they help people with loans of thousands and thousands of dollars very fast, and not with me, like if my small business didn't matter. I will get in contact with SBA tomorrow , and let them know my situation.

    We have been trying to get our SBA loan number and have tried everything we can think of but customer service is non-existent! In order to apply for the 2nd round of PPP you need to have your 1st PPA SBA loan number, however the SmartBiz website doesn't provide this information anywhere, only shows the application number (5942320). I have called the SBA but they can't help, I have called the funding bank Blue Ridge Bank but they can't help either. SmartBiz is the only one who can help and they aren't responding!! We are quickly running out of time to apply and It's extremely frustrating! Do not use SmartBiz!

    Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Hard to speak with some one. Even though I would recieved automated emails concerning my PPP application, I still had questions. The emails were generic and didn't have any info....my status was pending for 3.5 months. And when you could no longer apply that's when I receive the denial email. When I reached out for details no one and mean no one was available. Also I sent an appeal but once again crickets. Have a legit business with all the the required paperwork and was denied, yet folks was running around here with fake non-existing businesses getting approved fore 100s of thousands...please make that make sense

    SmartBiz completely screwed us over. Applied for the loan April 21st and it sat in processing until Jun 12th. They reply with "Improper guarantor identity authentication" as the reason they can't fund our loan, which is total BS because we provided all the documents that they asked for. This company was only interested in LARGE loans so anyone hoping to get a small loan of 15k or less never had a chance to begin with!

    Applied for a PPP loan with this company May 3. On May 12 I received a email that I have been assigned a Preferred Lending Program. I should expect a email in 7 to 14 days to sign my loan. Next email is May 21 which says thanks for being patient. Sent a email requesting an update May 28 and still no response. Then a next email June 2 after the option to switch to anyone else is gone saying they are still working on it and since I have a Preferred Lending Program number my money was already set aside before the program closed. This was not a response to my email but just seem like a generated message sent out. Then I email them again June 14 and no response. Since May I have tried calling them daily but their phone number does not work. Jun 19 I sent another email to another email address I found. Finally on that day I got a response saying I need to email them back on that email a picture of my ID, my full tax report which has my social security number and my full bank statement with my bank account number. Not for me to login to their site securely and upload it. Even though all that was given when I applied for the loan. But for me to send all my personal information through a regular email to whoever this was and it was urgent I had 1 day to do it for my loan to complete. My loan that when I check propublica that shows everyone approved for the loan my information and my loan amount is there. At this point it’s time to contact the SBA directly and get a lawyer. They have my money and either I need to get a business who is honest to see if they can transfer it to them for me. But I will be reporting this company.

    This place is the absolute worst! Nav referred these guys to me to process my second PPP loan. There was an initial issue with my application saying that my SSN did not match my identity. When asked for documentation to prove my identity I submitted it the SAME DAY, within just a few hours of it being requested, along with documentation showing my identity on my first PPP loan. I have tried to follow up with my contact several times since then and get no response. I have asked several times for a status update and asking if they needed anything else to process my loan. Nothing but radio silence. After the window closed for new applications, I reached out to see if my loan was in the processing stage or if it was prevented from being submitted due to the issues listed. Nothing. I tried to call the company and all I get is an audio recording on repeat asking to email their support team. I have tried to email their support team AND my contact requesting follow up every 2 weeks since and still nothing. All I'm trying to do is find the status so I know if im in the group that is still getting processed or if the issues with my application didn't get resolved. The lack of communication is frustrating and unprofessional. It's is completely unacceptable and not the type of characteristics you want from a financial institution, be it personal or professional. Save yourself the headache and stay away at all costs.

    Filled out the application except SmartBiz won't verify my bank account so they say they can't continue. My first PPP went into this bank it is a large regional bank with many branches. We also have a Wells Fargo account, they won't take that either. NO customer service-you can't get them to answer the phone or return emails. Cost us 90K.

    Approved by sba with loan # and signed docs 16 days ago. Still in last stage funding phase. Of the many e mails I have sent customer support I have received one response which said "funding can take 15-20 days" I am just waiting for the denial letter now I bet just like everyone else. It's only a matter of time ... Update : I was denied the loan. Thanks a lot smart biz. Great company.

    I was approved with Smartbiz. I signed a promissory note, then I was denied right after I signed. They still have my application with SBA with funds on hold for a whole month. I have sent over 20 emails trying to reach someone and they have not returned my emails or closed out my application with SBA. I have a lender that has already approved me but cannot get my application approved through SBA because Smartbiz has me held up. Application # 6160397

    Wow, really wish I had read the reviews first! My experience is much like everyone else's. Great responsiveness until there wasn't. My application was submitted on 3/19/21 and approved a few days later. They sent me docs for signature at which point I noticed they had botched it and put down that it was a First Draw PPP rather than Second Draw. Easy fix, right? Paperwork was resubmitted to SBA and I was advised it might take a couple of weeks. It's been well over a month now and the last communication I received from SmartBiz was 4/16 despite emailing anyone and everyone multiple times. Very telling, I think, that SmartBiz responded to negative reviews saying they wanted to help but stopped that practice a month ago. They clearly don't know what they're doing particularly when it comes to customer service.

    05/18/2021 I applied and was approved for my loan during the process of signing the loan documents an error occurred on smartbiz behalf and told me to try signing my documents again. I have been emailing continuously to try and rectify the issue and get my process going and they never respond ever. I don't want to leave a bad review because in reality they haven't been bad in my opinion just extremely hard to reach in regards to situations like this one. My whole process was going very smoothly until it came time to sign my documents for my loan. If I could get a response it would be great so I can post a proper review in regards to your business. Due to a error in the system I needed to clear my browser and cookies for fund box and I didn't know this Until Mrs. Spears stayed in contact with me and until it was cleared and I was able to sign my documents. People may say alot of bad things about this company but my experience has actually been pleasant and fast. I thank Mrs. Spears for her patience and help and for not pushing me to the side. You made sure my issue was rectified even though it wasn't your job and I appreciate all your time and I thank you for all your help. You ma'am get 5 stars from me and the company does as well.     We applied for a PPP loan back in January, and there has been absolutely no movement on it. We have called multiple times, but there is no way to reach anyone at the office- It is just a message that says to email them. We've emailed multiple times, and haven't heard back at all. Our company is loosing thousands of dollars because we trusted these people. Don't make the same mistake- send your loans to a different bank. We are now at a point that we might not be able to get the loan at all, and still no one has contacted us. If someone from the company sees this review, PLEASE contact me so that we can figure out what is going on, and why it has taken almost 3 months and the loan is not even with a lender yet.

    Absolutely awful service! The system will not verify my bank account information although it's my business account that I have had for 4 years and is in great standing. I also tried my account for my other business (also in my name along with the business name) that I have had for at least 2 years and it still won't verify. I have emailed support because I apparently can't reach them by phone and the response was literally if we can't verify, you can't continue with the app process! I requested a call because the issue is NOT on my end and have received 0 response to email or call! I can't believe that I may not get my loan because of this and am looking into a governing entity to file a formal complaint! I definitely DO NOT recommend!

    Don't believe the hype. I would believe Ms. Pam L. Is inundated with unhappy and not unsuccessful customer relationships. SmartBiz states "The SmartBiz Loans team is dedicated to providing the best service for each and every customer. Our financial professionals work seamlessly with banks and non-bank lenders in the SmartBiz network to help small business owners reach their goals." Initially you would be believe this to be true. Unfortunately, I've referred over 20 people to them, all with issues. All with a poor taste of CUSTOMER CARE / CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will not continue to advocate or refer small businesses to them. We are still waiting on ONE document to be updated with one letter of our owner's name. Since April 9th we've attempted to contact "support." The lender has attempted and has been great at trying to help with no success as well. No more will we promote poor customer service because you don't want to hire the team to actually answer the calls or concerns of those you so called are guiding. My hope is that SmartBiz is able to find their groove during these hectic times. But be cautious when using them small business owners. This is not a fast process if something goes wrong. Nor is there anyone to speak with. Potentially good business but poor operations. Perception is everything.

    I am a lawyer and this loan was for my law practice. I applied for second draw on 3/2/21 based on Kabbage.com referral. Got denied for some "improper guarantor identity authentication" reason. Have not been able to speak with anyone since then and numerous emails have gone unanswered. Application number is 5973573. I have another lender who is willing to approve my second draw but stuck in mud with company because I need them to release my application so another lender can resubmit on my behalf. I am seriously thinking of a class-action suit against them and will be seeking those in a similar position to sign on with me if this is not rectified before the May 31st deadline.

    So I used Kabbage for my first PPP loan. Fast approval 2-3 days received the loan. So I figured Ill use them again because the process was so easy. I applied for the second round of loans. Now its Kservicing. The process went quickly I filled out application. I waited and waited and waited some more. 3 weeks pass by. I finally call and I am told I have to reapply with Smart biz. So I was like ok I ll start over. They sent several emails. Needing more info etc. The application went quickly. Well now its another three weeks and nothing. Let me just say what a joke of a company. No communication. You can't even talk to a human being. Only emails. And guess what they respond to No Emails. Thanks Kservcing and Smart biz. Thanks a lot. Ha seems like everyone else has the same issue. Im sorry just call or email back. I talked to my local bank and they still say this process should take no more than 2-3 days. The SBA replies quickly. Not what I was told by your company. Blaming the SBA for taking longer. I call BS !!!!!!! Just email and communicate back is all people want. I communicate with all my customers and I'm one person.

    I applied going on 6 weeks ago. Impossible to talk to anyone, my loan rep is not much help other then telling me quite rudely that program ends on the 31 and past that date inquire threw the sba website. Website does not give much clarity. I applied April 21 have been given a loan number at sba say funds are held and I’m in closing by my loan girl basically saying opposite and is NO HELP. This system is so broke so aggravated with this whole process!!

    I started my second PPP loan with SmartBizLoans on March 17th. I got a few emails very quickly from them saying that I have progressed to the next steps. Shortly thereafter, I was made aware that they had acquired an SBA PLP Number for me. I spoke with someone named Albert about ten days ago and he said that the loan application was in the closing phase and that I should wait for an email from them with loan docs for me to sign soon. I also received an email from them on March 25th saying that I was in the closing phase and to expect an email 7-14 days later with loan docs. It’s now been twenty days and I have not received the said email and I’ve been emailing them daily since last Friday with no reply. I’m waiting on these funds to keep my business above water and I can’t even get a response any more. I don’t want to cancel the application for fear of not being able to secure another PLP number but I also can’t keep waiting for funds that may never arrive from Smart Biz Loans!

    This is by far the worst decision I could have made going with smartbizloans for my PPP loan. They adjusted the amount of my loan to a number that is not even close to a fraction of one month's income, and continued to pursue it without going over it with me. I have emailed several times for days to make them aware that I do not agree to the adjusted loan amount and will provide further documentation to verify my revenue, if needed. I cannot get a response from anyone. Only emails starting that my loan is about to be funded. This will surely put me out of business. Their lack of responsiveness shows me that they are counterproductive when it comes to actually helping small businesses get the funding that they desperately need to continue to thrive. I do not have any contact person assigned to my loan application. And the support emails continually go unanswered day after day. At this point, I cannot pursue an application with another company because if this loan is approved first, I will be stuck with it before a company that can actually help me gets an application submitted. Very frustrating!!

    I had a great experience with SmartBiz Loans when it came to applying for my PPP. After another lender mishandled my application I was directed to SmartBiz through Womply. The application only took about 10 min (it helps to have all the necessary documents ready to upload) and I had a positive response in exactly 2 weeks with the funds deposited a few days later. The process was easy, painless and quick. I would recommend them highly!

    I applied for my loan on Jan 27th and got a email on March 5th stating my loan was funded. I waited the 5-7 days like one representative said. When I didn’t receive my funds in my account. I contacted them, no response. It wasn’t until I said I was going to send the same email every hour everyday somebody respond saying my funds should be sent out soon. They also reverted my application so I can’t see the sba loan number anymore. They also blamed customer bank. I called them and they said a lot of people have been calling them about smartbiz and they don’t really have information that smartbiz has, they just send the money basically. It is not 35 days since I applied. Still no funding. I do not recommend this company. Something is fishy about it. No one can give you a straight answer about my loan and what’s the hold up. I also contacted the bank and they said nothing has came through my account from them or customer bank.

    Do not trust this lender and avoid doing business with them at all cost. They do not have any support mechanisms and their site is filled with fake reviews. read the reviews from real users. I never received the SBA 10-digit Loan number... or any documents supporting the loan. These documents or numbers are not in the application portal either. Please Help me find the SBA First Draw 10-digit Loan number... Please provide me with the information we need for this loan.... We have attempted to reach this company six times by email, and the bank number they have on their website does not work, and they are not responding...not sure how they are allowed to use the SBA LOGO and represent themselves as a valid organization in good standing if they cannot support their clients. As a disabled veteran and a small business owner I understand being overwhelmed by mere volume of business core activities, however, this is not the case here. They are engaged in blatant disregard and neglect of customer needs who request assistance and help during these tumultuous times. Their so-called bank’s number is disconnected, their email system fails to support due to prolonged non- responsiveness and the 800 number plays the same prerecorded message no matter what time of day or night its called. Its all fake, they are an automated brokerage with no support systems, do not be fooled by these people. This is coming from me which i am just trying to get a number nothing more..... save yourselves the trouble.... i have contacted the SBA, the FTC FDIC and the licensing office is next. I will find out who's license they operate and it will be challenged because this is unacceptable.

    It’s been 31/2 weeks of waiting. I have received 2 updates. However, I have been in review for about 3 weeks. I have emailed Smartbiz several times and have yet to receive a response. I’m a small business trying to stay afloat during these trying times. I would like to track my application process. So I can know were to go next if need be. Time is of the essence here. March 31st is right around the corner. I can’t move forward with another lender. Until I know what’s going on with this one. My first PPP was funded into my account in a matter of 7 days from applying. My experience with smartbiz is adding to an already stressful situation. I understand the co. may be swamped in PPP applications. However, they should find a more conducive way to correspond with prospective customers/clients. It’s only fair and professional to do just that. Could someone please respond back and give me an update on my loan application? It would greatly be appreciated. Thank you! After several attempts to get a reply by email. I am checking with my business attorney to see what can be done. Is this even legal to gather our information and not keep us updated in a timely fashion? The program closes in 13 days and my application has been with Smartbiz for 31/2 weeks.     Update: I finally got an update on my application. It’s definitely been a long process but otherwise smart biz is a good company in my opinion, they just need to do better with getting back to applicants in a timely manner. I understand that they’re probably overwhelmed with emails everyday but if that’s the case, work on implementing a system that works better for everyone! I gave a 2 stars because it’s really difficult to get in touch with anyone at this company. And they give little to no updates on each stage of the application process. You have to constantly email them and they take forever to respond (if you actually get someone to respond) I’ve been stuck on “ smartbiz review” on the smartbiz website since I applied on 3/4/2021 but on caweb my ppp have been issued a Etran number and it says active un-disbursed. Since I realized that I was assigned a Etran number I’ve been trying to find out when I can expect to get closing documents. It’s been over 20 days since I applied and still have not receive funds. Can I get a status update on my application please!
