Great staff wonderful selections. We always check them out first before buying. We are seniors and need to save as much as possible. If the can they will We put a guitar my husband has been watching on layaway. He loves it.

I’ve done business with these guys for a while now and truthfully it was great at first but now it seems like the business is taking a turn for the worst. when I normally get behind two payments Im usually able to make the minimum monthly interest payment to extend my loan another 30 days however out of nowhere they try to enforce a policy that requires you to pay all accumulated interest in order to keep your items which is understandable if it was enforced on day one but they let you get away with for a while and try to switch up no matter if you have good history Not proud to say I have done this multiple times with them BUT, I never let an item forfeit. And this varies from store to store so beware of new rules that may be created out of nowhere probably will find another shop once I get my items out.

The staff was very nice and welcoming. The store was very neat and organized. By far the best pawn shop in, at least, 100 mile radius of Charlotte.

I bought an item from them through Facebook but had some issues on Facebooks end, they contacted me through messenger and made arrangements with me to get my item. When I arrived to pick it up the staff was very helpful. The prices are low and items are very nice. I highly recommend these guys and gals!

Ana was awesome! Super sweet and helpful. She even went out of her way to help me find earrings for my mother because I had no idea what to get. I’ve been going here for a while now and they are all really nice people and always try to make sure both parties are happy. Best pawn shop in Charlotte!

I had a wonderful experience at Ez Pawn! Everyone is so nice and friendly. Yvette is such an amazing manager. Very attentive and with a great personality. Alisha is funny and is great with her customers. Ashley and John are both great with there customers as well. Everyone is always smiling and willing to help you out and give you a laugh while you are there. I bought my daughter's bike from this location at a great price! This was my first time visiting a pawn shop and my experience was so refreshingly easy. I was in a bind and needed to sell some electronics and a watch I no longer needed. I feel the price offered for my items was more than fair. I was there less than an hour total. I will definitely return to buy or sell again in the future.

My experience in this store was less than favorable, when I got in the store there was ONE guy ahead of me. That took forever because he was bartering with the lady, Over some machines that didn't even have serial numbers, needless to say he got her to go up on the prices. Once I got to the counter she still wanted to wait on everyone other than me. Called herself multitasking, not doing a very good job at it cause I'm still just standing there... on the verge of frustration because I could not believe the type of customer service I was receiving after reading such good reviews online. This was my very FIRST and LAST trip to a pawn shop, I left there feeling insulted because I wasn't a regular.

We purchased a guitar that was not very expensive. The name and the look of the guitar is what made us cry. My niece Lauren passed and was an excellent guitar player. The gentlemen gave us a great deal and a great case. He went out of his way carrying it to our car as we cried. Thank you for that blessed experience. We will be back.

Ive shopped a lot of pawn shops, I can tell you there is no other store in Charlotte with the selection these guys have! They have 3 buildings of merchandise!! The employee took me to all 3 looking for a pressure washer for my business. I found one that looked brand new in my budget. He was patient and even negotiated on the price. He never rushed me even though the store was busy! I appreciate all the time you took. I am 100% satisfied and will be back!!

My favorite pawnshop in Charlotte hands down. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The manager Yvette is the sweetest lady and she is very helpful. The prices are fair and they have a variety of goods!! Definitely shop here first!! Make sure you get your loans here too!!

Awesome staff, friendly but not over bearing enough too make you uncomfortable. They don’t mind working deals and are patient if your window shopping. I’ll definitely be back

The entire staff greeted me upon entering the store and was very friendly during my visit. Luis and Clinton were exceptionally friendly and a pleasure to work with. They were knowledgeable, honest and fair.

I needed a tool for work and decided to swing by here to check and see if they have what I needed. I was met by a young man named Dusti who was very knowledgeable and seem eager to help me with what I needed. They had the tool at a fair price and Dusti helped me from start to finish. Very pleased with my experience!

The owners are very respectful, took their time with me and others. Fast process and convenient hours. I would recommend this location for others.

I've had my fair share of experiences with pawn shops. Smart pawn is fairly priced and has some of the best customer service in the charlotte area. Dusti went out of his way to help me find exactly what I was looking for AND made sure I got a great deal on it. I will definitely be back.

Not only is the entire staff professional they are also very good at what they do. I've been there on many occasion and typically work with Dusty but everyone there treats you like a friend. They are fair and just.

The staff was extremely friendly and was even able to negotiate on the amount of they gave me for my pawn. I felt extremely welcomed and I am glad I drove a little further to get there as opposed to going to a pawn shop closer to my house.

"Sandy" worked both a purchase and the layaway quickly and professionally.I enjoy stopping in from time to time, they always have new items for sale, one of the better pawn shops in town there are also three other locations. much better than the Chain of other Pawns. more of a friendly down home old school pawn shop atmosphere. I was in the area and like to look in shops. Stopped here and was pleasantly surprised by the overall atmosphere. These guys know what they’re doing. Dusti helped me purchase a couple items for my wife for our anniversary and was all around top notch. Will definitely be going back to buy more from him. Do yourself a favor and stop in and just talk to Dusti for a few minutes.

Great shop! Always fair and will work with you to acheive a mutually acceptable price. I don't pawn anything but have lucked up an some stellar deals over the years. I think they are under new management or have recently rebranded but they have upped their service as well.

Was in town and always like stopping by pawnshops to see what treasures i can find. Was immediately greeted by Chad and he helped me out with an item in was interested in. He even helped me find out the weight so I don't go over weight on my luggage. Awesome customer service.

The whole staff at smart pawn are really awesome. They will go above and beyond to make sure you are totally satisfied with your experience..wether it be a loan ,sale or purchase. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Evelyn when i made my recent purchase at smart pawn on south Blvd and she did a great job of helping me and also getting me a great price on my item . She made me feel like i wasnt just a customer but more like i was a friend and we were shopping together. I will definitely be returning for future purchases and will for sure recommend smart pawn to anyone for their purchase or loan needs.

These people pick and choose who they want to assist. @Mariah Lewis experience is very similar to mine. I'm sure they give great customer service to those that they want to. I had $500 ready to spend on Christmas Eve for gifts. Out of 10 employees, not a single one offered to help me after looking for over 20 mins. Then when I asked for help, I got shunned about how busy they were. They served other customers that arrived much later before me. They also had multiple employees standing around not doing anything, yet they were "busy". And to think this was on Christmas Eve. The people leaving the good rating are the probably the ones that got picked to be served. Disgusting customer service.

*Avoid this place* I went in to make a purchase and while the employees were discussing the price of the item, where i could hear them, i heard the exchange "does he have money? - he's white" The prices are high and they clearly aren't real straight forward. There are more reputable chains down the street with better prices and more professional staff. Avoid this place.

Smart Pawn & Jewelry staff are a friendly, nice, and very helpful. I got my daughter a XBOX1 for Christmas 2 year ago the guy that helped me pick it out went above and beyond when I told he she really wanted a pink one but didn’t make them he gave me the name of a website to get a skin from it made her day when she open a hot pink XBOX1 on Christmas. Came back this year before Christmas and got my youngest daughter a hover board. With two small kids and not being able to afford brand new smart pawn was the way to go will continue to do business with them.

I googled this facility to find, upon entering approached the counter and two emp. was entertaining a customer that they would not help.Waited patiently, and pawned a item. They require a great deal too retrieve your item. But overall it was acceptable given I choose too do business there.
