I would definitely recommend giving this company a try! Sharon Mason (LO) was amazing! She was very kind, patient and knew her stuff! Whenever I'm shopping around for big ticket items, such as a mortgage, I take my time by studying the company, educating myself on the terms & loan costs/fees, reading reviews, comparing apples to oranges, etc. So you see I do extensive research before finalizing my decision! However, after comparing other lenders, I noticed Ms. Sharon wasn't being pushy, selling me a dream or just telling me things just to make me "feel" good. She kept it real and kept me informed about the rates, cost of the loan (in intricate details), etc. See most of these lenders fall under the same guidelines to stay in compliance with federal regulations, but they can throw in their own fees which some can be unnecessary! You know they all have a team of stakeholders such as an attorney, title/escrow officer, etc. So everyone has fees, but after researching, Silverton didn't have all these extra fees the other big companies had, so I was sold based on that and the customer service along with a sense of peace within my spirit! Last, my closing took about 7-10 days only! I've heard from other borrowers how it took them up to 6 months to close from other lenders...no lie!! If you have a good team that's in order, collaborating in unity collectively, then don't see no other reason why it should take that long to close, but not with Silverton...at least not in my case! Thank God!

Best mortgage company I've ever dealt with , (for the record, between homes I've purchased, and refinancing) about 7 to 8 mortgage companies I've dealt with, and no matter who, when we got to the table to sign, the interest rate changes just a "little higher" Not Silverton !! They quoted me a higher amount of funds and lowest rates of the 3 bids .. and upped my loan amount twice as build kept costing more ( not blaming the wife ) ... But coming to the table 6 months later after interest rates had risen 2 or 3 times, was expected a 0.10% increase. Or so? But true to their word. They kept the rate. The same !! Kudos to Jesus R. For his patience with me and my questions..

I started the mortgage loan process with another company that was not very honest. I ended up switching to Silverton Mortgage just before my originally planned closing date, knowing it would effectively start the clock all over. Diane W. was a God-send! Even though I, was probably at the cheapest price point Damon, treated me like I, was at a 2 million dollar price point. He was very patient with me, and told me exactly what to do and what not to do, to get my my credit in a position to purchase a home. He, made him self available to me at times that were way outside of normal business hours, including weekends and around the holiday's. Damon, was also very thorough, and made the process less stressful, because there were times when I, was stressed out, and he helped me through it with ease and professionalism.

JOKE, JOKE, JOKE!!! Silverton Mortgage gave us the run around for months. They would give us a closing date and then a few days before closing require more paper work. They continued to make errors that ended up pushing the date back. This happened multiple times. They transferred our loan to four different people. In the end we ended up missing out on the house due to our living situation. This place is a joke and I would recommend going with someone else or waiting all together. Waste of time, energy, and hope all to end up in a pile of B.S.
