I had the pleasure of getting to assist Glenn in hosting an open house for a studio loft in DTLA. It didn't surprise me that his friendly, outgoing, dynamic, and genuine character that I've gotten to know as a neighbor extend to his professional identity. I was incredibly impressed with his knowledge of the real estate market and the property he was showing, as well as his ability to attend to potential buyers' needs. He is consistently dedicated to helping his clients find exactly what they are looking for, without settling. As a human, Glenn has an impeccably 'real' nature that I would hope for in a real estate agent. When I am ready to buy (and someday, sell) a property, I'll be looking forward to having him in my corner to help me find the perfect space!

Buying a house was a big step and commitment is quite scary and having Glenn Shelhamer on my side helped so much! We looked at a lot of properties in Silver Lake to figure out what exactly it was that I was looking for as my new home. He was always very quick to contact the sellers and listing agents to set up appointments to view the house. We searched the whole Silverlake/Echo Park and Los Feliz area and in the end it came down to a certain new development that I was interested in. Glenn gave me lots of insight and his opinion on the market and values and the area. It was very competitive and I was so glad to have Glenn as my agent to deal with the developer and putting my offers in. In the end unfortunately it got out of hand and out of my budget that I had to back out. Glenn was the one that told me we need to move on and very understanding and eager to help me not be disappointed but to take a breath and re-evaluate what my goals and plans were. To our surprise just after a few days and looking at new properties I found the perfect house which felt like home and I knew that was it! Right away Glenn got in contact with the seller and also evaluated what kind of offer I should put in by searching past sales in the neighborhood and comparing sizes and conditions of the houses to others. The house had been on the market for a little while and we put in an offer $25,000 lower than asking price and it got accepted!! Oh, Glenn also warte a nice letter and included pictures of me and my boyfriend which may have helped a lot I'm not sure. From there on he was so extremely helpful with everything! Looking through all the paperwork and explaining anything that I had a question about to help me understand everything I signed. I literally asked him the same questions 10 times and he never got impatient with me :) He was in contact with me all the time suggesting inspectors he trusted and going the extra mile to make sure that I understood everything that was going on with escrow and every step of the way. I am so happy that I had Glenn on my side in this whole process. I couldn't have done it without his guidance!

I just worked with Janifar for the second time and she just does not disappoint. In fact, I am even more delighted (hard to believe that is even possible) than I was last time. I have worked with Janifar as both a buyer and a seller and from either perspective you want her on your side. She executes form both a tactical and a strategic perspective. She knows how to make a deal happen and she gives phenomenal advice. What else could you possibly need?

Looked up Los Angels Real Estate Agents and Silver Lake Blog was super unprofessional.... definitely ain’t calling him back 😅

First off, I found Glenn on his blog. He follows and covers the real estate sales in Los Angeles, and his blog website is informative and very easy to navigate. I used Glenn this year as my real estate agent twice, as both a seller and a buyer. When he first stepped into my condo he gave me great advice on what could be fixed and how the furniture should be staged. I did everything Glenn recommended and WOW did the condo look great and ready to show. Glenn recommended I have a date to have all offers come in. Instead of taking them as they came. Which was great because one week later we collected 7 offers. Glenn came over my place and we went over all of the offers together, we countered a total of 3 offers and ended up having a bidding war. We ended up closing over the price we thought we where going to get! To backtrack, I was a little nervous about the listing price Glenn suggested as it was slightly under the market value. But it was ultimately the right decision as we did it! Once I was into escrow we started our search for my new home (time to upgrade thank you!) Which went very smoothly. We ended up closing right on time. Glenn really made the process go pretty smooth from start to finish. We had a few leander bumps as to be expected. Glenn will fight for you and is in your corner 100%. He made sure I understood what was going on every step of the way. Glenn handled everything like a pro,if you are looking for an agent that truly cares about your needs - This is the realtor for you!

I found Glenn on his blog and for the past month I've been working with Glenn in finding my dream house in the Los Feliz/Silverlake area. Anybody would expect house hunting to be one the most stressful experiences; however, this was not the case with Glenn. He had an answer for any and all questions that I had, and provided me with information I had not even thought of. It was easy and fun. Just yesterday, I finally closed on my new home, without having to sacrifice any of my non -negotiables. Glenn, thanks buddy! You're awesome.. P.S. I write this as I sip some bubbly from the hot tub in the master ;) after all.. It's our first home.. Time to celebrate- perfect moment to write this! Thanks again Glenn!
