Sherman Oaks - Los Angeles Check Cashing Ventura Blvd, Sherman Oaks

My first time in this check cashing place and I was very impressed. The people are rude in the place I normally go to, but I won’t have to worry about them anymore now that I found Sherman Oaks Check Cashing. The staff there was very friendly and speedy with their services. They offer many things from money orders and currency exchange to money grams and general check cashing. which is awesome because I travel a lot. They are also open until 7pm which is nice because it’s later than my bank’s closing time. I recommend going to this place, they were really nice and speedy.

So I thought just because this place had good online reviews it was a great place! WRONG! BOY WAS I WRONG SO WRONG! Ok so I walk through the door smiling and the lady behind the counter today seemed as if she hated herself for coming to work that day! but me being the cheery bubbly guy I try to spark up small conversation you know a little something to brighten this older lady's day and she was just extremely rude!! basically looking as if I were a bother so all I needed to do was send money and so I did that and I gladly in a hurry left that horrible place well the person I was sending money to said that everything was all wrong and that I needed to return to the store and find out why. Now mind you I'm already in "Horrible" traffic just to turn around so at this point I'm aggravated so I go into the store and I tell the sour face negative Nancy clerk what happened and at that very moment I was appalled at her response! she looks at me with the meanest face she snatches my paper and then has the nerve to tell me don't give her attitude while she herself displayed such an unprofessional tone and attitude herself. And she cursed so at that moment I had to remind her that I'm the customer and I refuse to be treated with such disrespect and I then noticed there was a number on a paper hanging on their wall that stated if you receive horrible service call "Chris" I started writing down that number and when I told the rude unprofessional rep chris will be hearing from me about this she then changed her entire tone and gave me great customer service now why didn't she just do that in the first place geeez!! some people really shouldn't be in customer service! or come to work pissed off at the world :/

Ive been going here for sometime now and have never had any sort of issues.

I love how late they are opened, it's very convenient for the people that are very busy during most of the day like I am. I can cash my checks here from work and I don't have to hurry to the bank or hurry at all. The staff are very nice with you, and they help you out with any questions. The service is quick, and I don't have to spend more than 15 minutes waiting at the usual time I go.
