I absolutely LOVED my visit to this dealership. The easiest car-buying process I've ever been to, which is a huge compliment as I've had a few cars in my life. I was very happy with my Sheehy Subaru experience. I really wanted an Outback and with the availability being what it is -- I was glad to find the exact one I wanted. There is definitely less room for negotiation these days-- I have to say, it improved the process enormously-- not having to play all those games. I felt like I got a fair price for the time we are in and was pleased with how I was treated. From the gentleman who handled my inquiry (I'm so sorry-- I can't remember his name now) to Mohamed, my sales person to Chris, the manager and Mo who handled the paperwork. Everyone was lovely to deal with.

Took my 2021 Subaru Forester to Sheehy today to get a tow hitch receiver installed. Also, last minute, asked them to do an oil change and check on a weird noise I was hearing. Trevor R. and the rest of the service dept. was super friendly and accommodating. They took great care of us. We knew it was going to take a while so we decided to take the metro elsewhere. They hooked us up with a ride and kept us updated throughout the morning on their progress. The service was outstanding, pricing was totally fair, and the team couldn’t have been nicer. Thanks guys! I've been looking for a new car for a while now and ended up deciding on a Subaru Crosstrek. I'm still relatively new to the area so I wasn't sure how well it was going to work out, considering how my husband's car buying experience was not long before I got mine (with a different dealer, not Sheehy) and boy am I SO happy I chose to buy from Sheehy. I 10/10 recommend this dealership - everyone was extremely nice and professional, they were very quick with my trade-in which was a very reasonable deal might I add, and did not push me into anything that I did not want to add on. Next car I get will be from Sheehy and I will definitely turn anyone to them as well :)

This was one of the smoothest and most efficient car buying experiences I've ever had. The dealership is clean, well staffed, an easy to find. I was able to work with Shabir (hopefully spelled that correctly) who was extremely kind and helpful as chose our next Subaru. I traveled from Williamsburg Virginia to Sheehy Subaru, Springfield Virginia, to buy my new 2022 Subaru Outback. They offered a better deal and price than what I saw in Richmond Virginia. Despite my 4 hours drive to Sheehy on a Saturday, Chris Barr, manager, and Jay Adorno, sales consultant, were able to offer a great deal and a reasonable trade in on my previous Outback. Another outstanding experience at Sheehy Subaru will keep myself and my family coming back again. I had already leased a Subaru Impreza from Sheehy in 2019 and the three-year lease was coming to a close. Chris from Subaru made the transition into signing a new lease seamless and easy. On a snowy February weekend, Chris put the new 2022 Impreza in the service garage to keep the Sport Hatchback looking sporty whilst I signed the paperwork. Sheehy was able to give me almost the same lease price and package for the 2022 edition that I had for the 2019 edition, you can't beat that! After a few signatures, Chris gave us the keys and I drove off in the new car, which had a mere five miles on it. Sheehy made a customer for life this week! My wife and I purchased a pre-owned Subaru certified 2018 WRX from a dealership in Dulles and the clutch failed at 3 weeks/500 miles. Dulles refused to repair it but Sheehy honored the purchase and replaced it for free, saying "we stand behind every Subaru." WOW. We're so grateful to Jonah and Cee in the service department. Our Subaru will go there for service until it's time to get a new one and they'll get that business too. Thanks for being so awesome!

Devante was our sales consultant and from the moment we walked through the doors at the dealership the entire staff that we interacted with treated us with respect and concern for our needs. We felt as the Devante was very interested in our needs and wants in a new Outback. Had an emissions test done there and was charged for “shop supplies” above the $28 for the test. Seriously!!??!! Shop supplies! They stick a sensor in the tail pipe to measure the gases being produced. It’s not like a hospital procedure where they have to change the sensor. So what “shop supplies” were used???

Sheehy Subaru of Springfield exceeded my expectations for customer service. I had traveled and talked with multiple Subaru dealers here in VA but none compares to Sheehy Subaru of Springfield. I traveled 150 miles round trip multiple times because of their stellar customer service. Specifically, Chris LaPorte, helped me get into the EXACT car that I wanted. He was transparent, fair, and accommodating. Most importantly, the emphasis was on my, the customer, happiness and satisfaction, rather than the typical emphasis seen with many car dealers on making a quick buck. I changed my mind over and over again about what vehicle, trim level, and options I wanted. Chris was patient and helped me along the way. Chris went above and beyond in assisting me and went as far as to find a way to get me into an Outback limited with the exact package and build I wanted, even though Subaru had stopped taking new orders for that specific package car. What’s telling most of all, is the current car market is a sellers market and he could have spent his time and energy moving on to other clients who were not as cumbersome and wishy-washy the way I had been. I recommend Chris LaPorte and the entire team over at Sheehy Subaru of Springfield to anyone looking for their next Subaru or contemplating switching to Subaru.

I went to Sheehy Subaru of Springfield to have an upgraded rearview mirror put in my new Crosstrek. It couldn't have gone smoother. Jocelyn V. was my adviser, she said it would take about an hour. She showed me into the waiting area and one hour later the mirror was in just as Jocelyn said and I was on my way. The new auto dimming mirror with compass looks and works great.

***DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED AT SHEEHY SUBARU*** Update: I talked to the service manager, Ben, who heard out my problem and was able to help resolve the situation with my brakes. A software patch was also installed on my car the previous visit that fixed an issue with the bluetooth. However, my auto dimming mirrors stopped working the day after I got home. I was quoted $1200 because I need to replace the mirrors. This is ridiculous. Every time I've brought my vehicle to Sheehy Subaru something breaks or is not properly fixed which costs me time and money later on down the road. I will not be returning. This entire ordeal has seriously made me reconsider owning a Subaru in the first place. Went in to have my oil changed and have my brakes inspected as I had spent $500 to have them done in July and still felt wobble whenever I would stop. When the service tech called me over to review everything I was told they had only done my rear brakes and I would need to have my front brakes replaced for an additional $500. When asked why I wasn't told in July that they only replaced my rear brakes I was told in a condescending tone that it was on the receipt that I was given and essentially told I should should have paid attention to the fine print. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed as I have always taken my car here and have been a loyal customer. I truly believed sheehy subaru was trustworthy but this is unacceptable.

Buying a car during a pandemic seemed a little scary, but the whole process was safe, quick and easy. This is my first Subaru, and Sheehy made this such an easy car buying experience. Dul Ganchimeg was great! He got me a quote on the car I wanted, plus a solid quote on my trade in all using text and email. Went for a test drive;everything was clean and the staff was great with keeping customers safe. There was never any pressure to upgrade or buy something i didn't want or need. Messaged Sheehy Subaru on a Saturday morning, asking if they had a certain car available. They were very responsive, and had the exact car I wanted in stock. Only took a few hours from start to finish to get the entire process done! Best of all, I was traveling out of state and the purchase was very smooth, and they were able to transfer my out of state plates. Everyone I worked with was kind and respectful. I purchased my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek in January. I initially was going to buy from another dealership, but the salesman wasn’t on point. It took him too long to follow up with me. After getting frustrated, I sought another dealer and was contacted by Chris. Chris was a breath of fresh air. After my initial contact and exchange of contact info, I had access to Chris even when he was off! I didn’t know he was off, but he responded to my calls and texts anyway. The icing on the cake came once the car arrived and it was time to get financing, Chris was on the phone with me to ensure that I got the best rate. I've been getting service at this center since buying my car here in 2017 and this will be the last time. Today two of the bolts are stripped between two wheels and I am being charged to replace them despite the fact that this service center is the only shop to have taken the wheels on or off ever as I only bring it here for service. Even if the tech didn't strip it by accident this visit, the last tech must have and left it for the next person to find and for me to be charged. When I tried to ask/explain this to the customer service rep they were too busy being condescending in their responses to hear me or care. If possible find another shop.

I had a great experience working with Chris LaPorte to purchase my new Subaru Crosstrek! He was welcoming from the start and great at explaining all the features and differences between models. He always took his time working with me, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. Since my previous car was flooded and deemed a total loss by insurance, he even helped give me tips and explained what to expect with the insurance process. Out of no where, when my 2018 Crosstrek started blowing out white smoke of the exhaust when I started my vehicle, I brought it in. I was on a tight schedule for the day and Ramon was quick to get a tech on it right away. Although the diagnostics revealed nothing was wrong with it, I appreciated the time and effort Ramon put in to get everything done to ensure it was safe to drive back home, and within the tight schedule I explained that I was on. He understood my concerns and was really reassuring that everything with the car was okay. Sheehy Subaru was outstanding! If I could give them another star I would. If you are in the market to purchase a vehicle you should buy it from Sheehy. I totaled my car and have spent the last two weeks doing something I absolutely dread— car shopping. I’ve been to and called over 8 dealerships and had miserable experiences at some. I was feeling close to defeated when I called Sheehy. I live over two and a half hours away, and over the phone they made me a deal very much worth my drive. They weren’t mean or belittling in their negotiating. When I got there they stuck to their word and delivered on everything agreed upon. They were never overly pushy, they never tried forcing anything, and they remained a wonderfully calm, and relaxed environment— especially for a dealership on a Saturday. I was in and out quickly because they knew I had a long drive back. Sheehy Subaru is filled with wonderful people, and if you are in the market for a Subaru they are definitely worth the drive no matter how near or far you live.

I apologize for not leaving a longer review: we had a wonderful buying experience when purchasing my dream car, a new outback!! Adam was absolutely wonderful and we are lucky to have worked with him on this purchase and our last Subaru purchase in 2015. Shabir was also wonderful to work with, he took time to walk me through the vehicle accessories and was just very pleasant to work with in general. BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT GO HERE! Sold a car that was 2yrs old certified pre inspected pre approved used vehicle. !. Live in MD. Didnt pass md inspection. Bad tire ,wipers bad, no cats.(which is against the law in V.A for a dealer to do.). Which they took advantage of my son and talked him into swapping a stock muffler system to pass inspection and then put the straight pipe back on still without cats. which is against the law. The loan officer Mohammad screwed him by sneaking a vip package which he clearly said he was GIVING my son. He also snuck an easy care pkg that my son did not ask for, He did not even give us any info on it , Nor didn't know we had it until the car was in an accident, Where the gap informed us that they were not paying for that. We explicitly told Mohammad that we wanted ONLY GAP ins. Total packages was over $3000. added to loan and not covered by gap or be cancelled if added into loan. Unfortunately the car was totaled 3 months later the second week of Aug. We are still waiting for them to cancel and refund the bank to payoff the loan . Very shady people! We will be contacting the BBB. For Fraud and no payoff statement from them on packages.

They listed to my concerns and provided a rough (but accurate) on time and cost estimate. Let me just say Ive now owned three Subaru’s throughout my life and they each came from Sheehy Subaru of Springfield. Yes there are other great Subaru dealerships across the area but this one in particular has always treated me like family. All the staff are very personable and treat you with respect. They also work to earn not just your business but your trust as too. Special shout out to Chris and Adam on the sales team as they’re always onsite and ready to assist regardless of the issue and with or with out appointments even (hopefully they get sometime to go home occasionally 😁). Appointment process is quick online and you get a confirmation to make plans for. VIP service has great value as it covers oil change and tire rotation and multiple inspection. Once you get scanned for other services, The service technician makes it quick to assess what’s needed and make a decision. The estimated time was 1 and 1/2 hour but was out of there in 1 hour. Bought my car new from this dealer and still value their maintenance services.

I was traveling to Boston. I stopped in at Sheehy Subaru to have my car serviced before getting on I95. The service checkup disclosed that one of my rear struts was leaking. A replacement part was ordered for the next day. The new strut was installed, the cabin filter changed and my tires were realigned. The entire work was completed by 1:00 pm and I headed home to Boston for a safe and fabulous fourth of July. Much kudos to my service coordinator, Trevor who oversaw the work, got me into a loaner, and helped me on my way to Boston promptly. 😀

Maybe this is just the specific agent I met with, but I did not have an even decent experience. I called the dealer and asked to make an appointment for a test drive. I was told the car would be ready for me once I arrived. When I got there I had to search for the sales person who I spoke on the phone with. When he asked for my name he said "yeah that was me" and took me to his desk to find the key. He never introduced himself so I had no idea what his name was. We looked for the car on the lot and he tried several times to find the car. Eventually he found out the car was out being test driven and we went back to his desk to talk. He then proceeded to eat an apple while talking to me citing that he had low blood sugar. The car was returned and I was able to test drive it. The fuel gauge was essentially on empty so I didn't feel like I could take it for a true test drive. I loved the car and wanted to talk over options with the sales person. I got back and had my car evaluated to see what the trade in value was. I wasn't satisfied with the number but wanted to talk over my options with the sales person. When we sat down at his desk his only question was "so do you want the car?" I replied that I loved it but wanted to talk over what my options were with the trade in and the price. He only replied with "so are you buying it today?" To which I replied I needed to think about it. He then pointed to my keys and essentially told me that I could go. I know that right now the dealers have us all by the balls when it comes to buying right now since inventory is low and they essentially sell themselves, but this seemed a little too cold and unprofessional for me. Maybe it was just the sales person I dealt with but regardless I will be buying a Subaru but not from this dealer.

While the staff was nice, they charged way too much for a simple fix. Highway robbery! Do not go here if you only need your Subaru checked. They charged $900 for what should have been a $350 job, maybe $550 with inflation. They also left my car dirty. There were smudges all over my ivory interior and I had to wipe it clean.

We decided to sell our 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee as we are transitioning to life with an EV. After we did a KBB quote request, we were contacted by Mazen at Sheehy Subaru in Springfield. Within 24 hours we were at the dealership meeting Mazen to discuss the sale of our vehicle. He was extremely friendly, polite, professional, and respectful to my wife and me. And a side note about the dealership—they have a pet mascot—a dog that walks around and meets and greets customers…and was so friendly. What a great way to make customers feel welcome! Great experience at this dealership for placing a factory order for a 2022 Subaru Forester. I had to wait 4 months for it but it was worth it, the car is wonderful and Hoang was with me through the whole process, texting me with regular status updates and answering questions along the way. I got copies of all documentation, they honored the original agreed upon price 4 months later, and I never felt like they were trying to "pull one over on me" (can't say the same for a couple of other area dealerships). Hoang (my salesperson) and Sajjad (finance mgr) are good people and know how to read their customers and keep things relevant, I appreciated working with them and their no BS approach to selling vehicles. Next time my family needs a Subaru, I'm definitely coming here first!

Not impressed with the sales agent (Shabir) who's assisting (hardly) with my enquiries. Went to this Subaru Sheehy to inquire about leasing VS purchasing. I have recently arrived from Australia and this guy for whatever reason - thought I didn't have my socials/ID ?illegal alien and what-not. Very skeptic and and hinting me that I couldn't test drive the vehicle I'm interested with. Shabir was very dismissive and seem to be on a rush: not even a chance to ask about the vehicle features and difference between trims / models. After a quick test drive, was still inspecting the vehicle and this agent went inside leaving me out in the parking lot! Not even the initiative to ask if I have questions about the vehicle. Went back inside and handed a stack of paper with prices and doesn't even bother explaining what is what, not sure how this guy is allowed to deal with prospect clients. One one the managers, Tom, otherwise have been great and have been accommodating. Would have been a different experience if he's the one who I have dealt with from the beginning. I might still consider going back to this dealer but please do avoid this agent. Zero customer service from Shabir

I had a great experience buying a new Crosstrek here. I visited many dealerships searching for the best option in a tough market. At most dealerships, I found prices mysteriously crept up the closer I got to signing anything. This was not at all the case with Shabir at Sheehy Subaru. He was absolutely straightforward from the get-go. He found the car I wanted and told me the price. When the car arrived, I paid exactly that price and not a penny over (in fact I think he managed to bring it down a bit.) There was not a hint of the usual deception and sudden addition of inexplicable fees. Shabir was professional, helpful, and follows a no-nonsense approach that I couldn't have been more grateful for. Absolute amazing experience today. I had eyed the car I wanted and at 20 total minutes on the phone we were only off 300 dollars on the price! Got here and they gave me the keys and told me to take it for an unsupervised spin. They were very insistent on this, which was a very good first impression. After I came back they walked me through all the options (cash vs loan vs lease) and I never felt pressured. This was by far one of the Top 3 out of many car purchases I’ve ever made. Great organization to include my salesman Adam (see card below) and Kevin, the used car manager. I brought in my 2011 Subaru for some serious maintenance work (timing belt replacement, CVT fluid flush) and found it needed some other repairs as well. All in all, it was a steep price. Between the pandemic and the microchip shortage, it's been a nightmare to find a car during these times - that is until we found Sheehy Subaru. We're so thankful for Hoang and Nahom's excellent customer service. They were incredibly flexible when it came to communication, allowing us to mostly work with them through phone calls and via text. This saved us so much time and made us feel safer as COVID cases began to rise in the area again. I love the service department. I’ve been here twice with my 2015 Subaru, about 2 years ago for 30k mile preventative maintenance and recently for a minor recall and a concern about how my engine was idling. They quoted me a price for the diagnostic (which was 1/3 the cost of the other mechanic I called) so I took my car in. Turns out my car just needed some kind of electronic update so they charged me nothing! Every single person I met in the service department was very friendly and helpful. There was no pressure to buy extra services, they only thing they mentioned is that I should get new tires soon and offered a quote. I turned down the quote and they didn’t push the issue at all.

I honestly don't write bad reviews but I feel it is necessary after my visit to Sheehy Springfield's Service Department. I took my car to them because my powerlocks were not working on all but one door. Before I went in for my appointment I did research of possible causes and after speaking with a few mechanics on the phone decided to take it to this dealership. The Service Advisor I spoke to on the phone was kind, knowledgeable but when I came in for my appointment I had a different service rep. I waited at the shop for HOURS while they did the diagnostic and the complentary multi-point inspection that I really didn't want. The results of which were expensive repairs being needed. I decided to get a 2nd and 3rd opinion before moving forward and found that of the 3 things they said needed to be fixed on the car only one actually really needed to be repaired and one was HIGHLY exaggerated even after I asked that they double check that it wasn't the BCM. They said they put the car on the reader and determined I needed 3 actuators replaced which was $1500. I took it to a different dealership after getting a 2nd and 3rd opinion which both found the codes to read there was an issue with the BCM like I asked Sheehy to look at. The 2nd dealership ACTUALLY read the code and found it was a short in 1 wire in one of the rear actuators and the repairs would be under 700 bucks. I have had the repair done at the Beyer Subaru and all my locks are working perfectly fine. I don't trust the service department at Sheehy Subaru in Springfield I know a lot of reviews state otherwise but this is my experience. I wasted money and time at Sheehy getting in inaccurate diagnostic and some lies about other repairs that "needed" to be done.

Chris La Porte came to the phone when I called to ask a simple question about a specific vehicle color from another dealership. He won me over immediately and the next day, he spent all afternoon helping me and my husband and we walked away with a fantastic Subaru. He cut through all the sales stuff that drives me crazy and answered honestly, all my numbers questions. I would strongly recommend finding him if you are looking for a Subaru, you won't be disappointed. I would recommend Sheehy to anybody searching for new or used vehicle. This was our first Subaru and I didn't think I could be converted away from the Chevy brand. I couldn't be more happy! I walked in yesterday never expecting to walk out in a 2018 outback but I did! My sales rep Chris was extremely helpful, patient and honest throughout the whole process and Lizzy in finance went to bat for me with the lenders scoring me an excellent rate. She was very professional and efficient, and my vehicle was done in an appropriate amount of time. I discovered some damage to my vehicle that occurred while the vehicle was in the shop. Jocelyn worked to rectify the issue and ensure that I was satisfied. I recently moved to the area and needed to bring in my vehicle due to a recall and to get the oil changed. The woman who scheduled the appointment on the phone couldn’t have been nicer. When I arrived for the service appointment, they went over the services being done, the cost, and provided a loaner car for me to drive until it was completed. This review is for the Service Department. Read if you're thinking about servicing here........ Took my 2015 WRX here after I was unable to switch into 5th and 6th gear after hitting a pothole. These guys "diagnosed" the car and said everything was shifting properly and their techs couldn't replicate it. I should just drive home...... that's it. I told them I didn't feel safe driving a car when you can't shift into gears properly, but they assured me looking straight at me everything is fine. ((Shifter cable had moved/partially broken from impact)) . They let me drive with a broken/bad cable because the Insurance Rep. told them it wouldn't be covered. The proper way to handle a vehicle with a broken shifter cable is to take care of it so nobody gets into an accident. Not hide it under a rug because insurance said no. Safety comes first. I see people complaining here about car wash, vacuum after service... the service techs at Sheehy left the entire engine cover on my passenger seat. The techs that are trusted to service my WRX now asked what this was about, I told them I had no idea. They laughed, washed the cover and put it back. ------ Just to take the trans apart and look at the issue, Sheehy quote was $1,750.00. This service will be completed by techs that just signed off on broken shifters, leaving engine covers on leather seats, etc ***It was diagnosed and repair done for $935.XX at another DMV Subaru Dealership.*** $311 for parts. They waived the labor if I got new clutch kit. Since the other dealer (which shall not be named until all service is done and reviewed next week) were up-front and honest with me..... I've got front to bumper service from them, replacing the clutch, all tires, all new brakes, etc.... let's see how they do. Can't be worse than this place, that's for sure. Edit: Uploaded pictures... you can tell the quality of the dealership even from the way they interact with you. Sheehy must be out of their minds to treat Subaru owners like this, they inflated a $935.XX repair to a quote of $8-9K, just so they could offer me $7K on my paid-off vehicle..... I will never come back.

This was our first time buying a Subaru vehicle. We were impressed with the customer services specially the two sales consultants at Sheehy Subaru Springfield Shabir Baba and Mohamed Ameyar. They were very patient to explain the functions of the car and willing to take their time throughout the entire process. We are satisfied with their friendly and professional services and hope Subaru will earn our trust with the car's performance. Another service I was impressed because they setup the appointment to have someone explaining how to use the technology features in person in two weeks after we have some hands on experience with the car. Their service department is very sketchy, I'm not sure about sales. They will claim warranty from SUBARU then tell you it was discount they give. I repaired my outback for 3 issues including key stuck after put on park. They told me they gave me DISCOUNT on each of the 3 issues (they literally wrote on a piece of paper how much discount they gave on each issue). I received a mail from SUBARU now the repairing of key stuck can be reimbursed, so I found out the receipt trying to filed reimbursement. I realized on the invoice, they did not give any discount, instead they claimed warranty from SUBARU to repair the key stuck issue. They knew they could claim warranty on the issue, but they lied to me saying that they gave me discount on each of the 3 issues.

Trevor is hands down the best service writer that I have ever worked with at a card dealership. His team quickly diagnosed by Forester on a Saturday afternoon, and took care of my repairs in a timely manner while looking after my best interest. I've been coming to this dealer since I purchased my Subaru from a sister dealership (Sheehy Nissan) just over ten years ago. The quality of service is top notch and their team in the service and parts department is great. The technicians that I have spoken to have been excellent as well.
