Over the prior four months I contacted three other lenders - one who told me unless I took cash out my loan was too low, the other said he’d send details, but didn’t and the other gave me a rate that didn’t make sense. I was then referred to Shanne and everything I thought was possible became reality. Shanne was able to provide several scenarios to meet my goals and went over all the details (with an online tool) that allowed me to choose the loan and term to maximize my goal. His team, especially Kristie, were always available. Not once did I call and get voicemail, someone was always there to answer the phone. FLAWLESS TRANSACTION...TWICE Let me preface this by saying that I have worked with tons of top-notch lenders in a prior job, so I have very high expectations, but I would rate Shanne Sleder at RWM Home Loans above them all. He is an expert in his field; he is extremely knowledgeable, professional, dedicated, and more committed to your best interest than any other lender out there. You'd be mistaken to go with anyone else. We have now worked with Shanne and Team Sleder on multiple loans, and his commitment to a flawless transaction is unparalleled. Our first interaction was for a reverse mortgage that we oversaw for a family member, the second was for a home loan for our out-of-state condo purchase. Although our agent at the time insisted that we work with another lender, that lender offered zero options for our unique situation (and offended us by saying he could not work "miracles.") That is when we called Shanne again. He not only knew about an amazing program, but he did not have to work miracles. He was simply more knowledgeable about every unique loan option available (i.e. a special program that allows one to purchase a home for an elderly parent with very favorable rates!) If that wasn't impressive enough, we must mention that Shanne has the entire lending process down to a science. He and his assistant, Kristie, communicated by calls, emails and even videos to inform us about all upcoming steps, documents needed, and even anticipated hiccups to make sure that they were handled, so that we could close on time. Kristie Roskop, our main contact, was phenomenal. She was available every single time we tried to reach her, and she even walked us through the closing documents that we had to sign with a mobile notary since we were out-of-state. Before I say anything about the process, let me just say Cheers to Shanne and Erica (he sent us such a lovely bottle of wine + chocolate at the end of the process)! For our first mortgage, we ended up playing it "safe" and sticking with a "big bank" where we had to check/re-check all the errors. This time, Shanne and his team made it SO easy for us. From the get-go, Shanne and his team were informative, and were insistent on finding us the best rates. Shanne is knowledgeable, and tracks the market to advise his clients on how to move forward. Erica, the loan processor, was responsive and timely by email and phone. The best part is that they kept us updated with every stage of the process. We provided them the bare minimum of what they asked, and Shanne and his team did the legwork with things like employment authorization, etc. Basically, they took the initiative to request documents directly, and we did not have to provide them (unlike the first time we got our mortgage). You can tell that Shanne and his team really care about their customers. They are always available for questions, flexible with scheduling, and as I've mentioned a few times, they made the process smoother and easier than we expected with the process of getting our first mortgage.
