    We were supposed to have Service Link at our closing and they completely dropped the ball in every way. Their remote notary literally just decided he did not want to come at the last minute which disrupted all of our moving plans. Service link was unresponsive to our realtor, did not supply us with the proper paper work and documentation, and was overall completely unprofessional. Spend the money and get a real title company.

    In January, I refinanced my home. My lender elected to use Servicelink to handle the closing paperwork/services. The closing goes off as scheduled; however, several weeks later Servicelink contacts me to say they forgot to include a form at closing. In the process of resolving the issue, the Servicelink representative leaves the company and my case is handed over to another representative. In the process of working with the second representative, that person also leaves the company. I receive a final email telling me to reach out to a third representative. I reach out to the third rep, but they won't get back to me. I decided to handle the matter directly with my local county office and sent the completed form directly to them. They rejected the form saying that it has to come via Servicelink. Its now going on five months and my county office still hasn't received the needed paperwork. I hate writing poor reviews, but I am writing this one in hopes that I can get someone's attention at Servicelink and we can get this matter resolved. Follow on: A new rep contacted me after I submitted the poor review. The new representative went right to work and resolved the issue. Very appreciative of the quick response.

    ServiceLink was chosen as the title company by Flagstar Bank during refinancing. On March 21st, 2022, I received an urgent email from one of their QA agents indicating that the county rejected my deed and they need to send out a notary asap to sign new paperwork. Additionally, I was told that the paperwork I signed was an older version! Thank goodness, I am already on the deed and trying to remove another person. Though, why I am finding this out almost a year later? Your QA agent indicated in the email communication that ServiceLink cannot provide instructions on how to fix this but also couldn’t help me either on the phone. ServiceLink also did not provide the documentation (letter, etc) given to them by the county for my reference. I mean my name is on it so why do I only get to see a snippet? Why am I the one running around trying to fix this when this is clearly an error on the company’s part? If I had a choice, I will never use this company again. This has been a less than unfavorable experience. Lesson - do your research and work with another title company. You are not going to get much of anywhere with ServiceLink and will basically be left to work it out on your own.

    I have had many mortgages and never had a problem with a Title Company at close, until Sevicelink. They are slow, bad at communicating, seem to always be out of the office, send money to the wrong accounts, etc. after 10 days of waiting for the money from my refi, they still haven’t figured out how to wire money. They are terrible and don’t let your mortgage company hire them!

    Worked with them for over 2 years. Diligently completed assignments as a Loan signing agent. Called and called again and again when assignments stopped. Was told by some that I had to now take low ball offers of $60-$70. I spoke with vendor management and justified cost only to be told I don’t matter. New loan signing agents are hoodwinked into accepting assignments at low amounts and tenured loan signing agents are churned out. I really loved working with them only to realize they now are no different than a lot of other signing services on snap docs. I am sorry Servicelink but yo processes and probably people behind these decisions are the reason you have so many low ratings.

    This is absolutely the worst title company I have ever worked with. I have no choice but to assume that every good review on here was personally paid for by service link. Of course this is my own opinion, I strongly advise you pick literally ANYBODY ELSE.

    Probably malpractice. More than 6 months after closing they have not recorded the deed change. They have not refunded my closing costs for the mishandling. They will not respond to my calls or emails. I'm worried that without taking them to court, or reporting them to the Bar Association, I will never have a clean title.

    I would never recommend this company to anyone. This company and it's broken promises literally has me currently HOMELESS and living in a hotel! Service Link sent an appraiser out to my new home August 18th. To date the mortgage company still does not have the appraisal and they (Service Link) has come up with several variations of lies via e-mails which I have primarily through there Organizational Team Lead, Betsy Krausa. The first story was the appraiser had a family emergency, next they were unable to reach the appraiser for over two weeks, then the appraiser has COVID. I was supposed to close on my new home on August 31st. My file is complete and ready to go all that is missing is the appraisal. Furthermore, Service Link has refused to send out another appraiser after they have been paid since August 6th. The management at this company to include Gregg Lovelace have done nothing but send an e-mail on how they plan to council the appraiser. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO RESOLVE THIS and the seller is now threatening to take this home back off of contract. As a publicist, I will be reaching out to every local news agency in DC, MD, VA, and PA and contacting all the other people who have left bad reviews to make sure everyone knows how horrible Service Link is. In addition, I will be reporting there bad business practices to the BBB. At this point I'm basically HOMELESS due to this company and it's poor management and service so I have time. ~LaMar Ayers

    We are a current vendor of Serviclink and have been working with them for two years now. It has been the best partnership we have had in property preservation. We have been in the industry for going on 14 years and work for several Nationals. Servicelink's customer service teams are top notch and the market manager for our region is hands down the best in the business. They work on the vendor's behalf when there is push back from the clients, the pay is better than the other nationals and chargebacks are few and far between. We would recommend Servicelink to anyone looking to break in with another National.

    I work as a vendor for service link. And their staff is usually the ones I cuss out after I finish responding to an email. They are just rude and inconsiderate. The company is not flexible. At one point I was getting so much work from them on auto assign. Now nothing for a month. They wanna blame it on my fee but asking a notary to do a mobile in person closing for $90 when the signing is 35 mins away, gas is $3+, and I gotta be there for at least an hr. And I gotta print 350+ pages. Nahhh I hate these lowball fees. They rude support staff and just their whole system in general. I do like that they pay on time and like clockwork. And everything about their portal is smooth. Love the bones, hate the meat.

    Poor service and would not recommend this title company ever or I will never close with them again. So unhappy with there service. All they can say is I’m sorry. If you were sorry you would make things happen to remedy an unhappy customer. Find solution and make exceptions when there is a screw up. Don’t close with them unless you don’t care about your funds and the quality of service you receive. I’m just as important as the next customer and I hav been more then patience with that company. There was one individual Pamela there that so very helpful and went out of her way and she the newer employees. People are so set on their position that they honestly forget to provide great service. Also remember it’s not your money or documents you are handling it’s someone else’s. Always put yourself in your customers shoes and keep that relationship positive. I won’t be coming back to your company on my next home closing. I gave you a benefit of the doubt to remedy an issue not at the last second when there is frustration. I will Never recommend your company.

    Nice people but really poor customer service experience. Slow/no communication, ambiguous answers, unresolved issues. Currently have been holding up the appraisal on our loan for a month. It took 3 weeks for the initial result to come back. The initial issue was that they didn't have enough info on a bedroom addition 19 years ago by the previous owners, but we supplied all the permit info a week ago and now they've been spinning their wheels with no one able to give a straight answer. I've asked multiple times to be connected with whoever has the authority for these decisions and still no one can provide an answer. I contact them multiple times a day and no one responds. I'm pretty sure they'd completely drop the ball if I didn't keep pushing them to dig into this. Even our lender can't figure out why they don't have it together.

If I had one request though it'd be for an after hours line to speak with a person on weekends.     Refinanced my home through PenFed Credit Union, and ServiceLink was the selected closing company by PenFed. A notary was scheduled to come to my home at 2PM Thursday so I took the afternoon off work. At 2pm they didn't show up, nor let me know they weren't coming. I called to figure out why and after literally 45 min of being bounced around different automated call centers, they didn't give a reason for not showing up, but did offer to reschedule for 5PM that day. That new notary person called and told me she couldn't come until she gets off work, so rescheduled me to 6:30pm (not notifying anyone, just letting me know she wanted to change the time.) She ended up showing up at 6:45pm and I signed all the paperwork. The next day I got a call from ServiceLink which explained they didn't review the closing paperwork before scheduling my closing, and there was a mistake from their end, so they'd need to re-schedule the closing to re-sign. This also now means the funds disbursement date will change, and I'm guessing that means refinance cost numbers will change, I'll need to re-do a different cashiers check, as well as messing up my budgeting for mortgage payments and such next month. You'd think if they're charging $450 for closing fees & $75 for notary signing fees, they'd actually do their job, without requiring now re-scheduling a 4th time for this second signing...but guess not.

    I'm a notary vendor for ServiceLink. I've worked with them for 10+ years. They always pay on time and if I need help they are always quick to give answers. Auto assign is nice for work. Sometimes I miss hearing the schedulers voices though.
