Service Credit Union N Broadway, Salem

Trying to contact the bank and have not been able to talk to a person. I get an automated message and if wanted to talk to an agent, there were 53 calls ahead of me!! No customer service.

Don't let these other whiners deter you- I haven't had any really bad experiences here. Be polite and often others will be polite back. I think I've seen the "bad apple" these others whine about- who cares. Boo-hoo! Grown infants looking for something to complain about. You can walk in, do your shopping and conduct your business at the bank- even your other bank accounts. Its incredibly convenient. I've seen my share of socially awkward individuals- cry me a river because they didn't hold your hands with princess gloves. Pathetic!

The teller mumbled and didn't listen. She deposited all the cash I gave her. And, she wasn't very accommodating when I asked her a math question. She didn't even answer my question. Worst experience I have ever had at SCU or any bank.

Always helpful and having locations open within WalMart is nice, especially because they are open until 7:00 on weeknights and both Saturday and a Sunday.

Never have a problem when I go there, Every one takes care of you

There are like 4 employees that are always helpful and willing to accommodate the customers needs. However there is this one lady that works there that always has an attitude with everything. Makes me want to take my money and put it somewhere else. The only reason I do business with this bank at all is that they have a location in walmart so I can shop and I don't have to make a special trip to my other bank but once or twice a month. I only use this branch for small things like paying bills etc. If they got rid of that one lady with an attitude I'd gladly put all my money in that one bank because it is a decent bank. Also the girl with the strawberry blond hair is always super helpful and kind and she makes me feel like a valued customer, unlike that other girl. I think that girl with the additude might be a manager or something. Which makes it worse. If I go in there one more time and get her and her attitude I'm closing my account.

Did not realize this branch moved but did business here for many years and was always treated great. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Now I'm using Hinsdale branch and just as happy. They have the best CD rates around. Tried another credit union when I moved and was very disappointed with service and rates.... Finally went back to SCU and now happy again.

Do you train your employees to be rude and unfriendly or do you just not care about how they treat customers? Actually completed a transaction today without saying a SINGLE WORD to the bank teller. Truly shocking.

Never had a bad experience with service. They have forgiven late fees and literally never charge for BS reasons!
