    This organization purchased my mortgage loan and would not honor the previous payment arrangement I had. They demanded I pay the entire amount that accrued during the Covid Relief forbearance and would not acknowledge the payment plan or the months of payments that I had paid prior to them purchasing my loan. With several months of going back and forth and working with people that say whatever they can to get off the call and not help the consumer I am in foreclosure. **Also they print their mortgage statements 8 days before the due date and if you ask for a copy of the statement they tell you it takes them 30-45 DAYS to respond to a request. Also, if you are given a single point of contact don't expect to ever speak to them because A) you will never get their contact info, B) the representatives will not transfer you to them, and C) The staff will just use circular reasoning as a premise of communication. I have never felt so uneasy working with an organization. I pray that Joe Davila do better as the CEO and leader of this organization and really make an impactful difference for his staff to handle their roles with a greater since of integrity for the homeowners that are working to stay in their homes.

    HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! We have been waiting on a payoff from this lender for two weeks now with nothing yet. I was on hold to try and see if we can coordinate the payoff request and the representative literally said "I don't have time for this" after about 30 seconds and hung up the phone. Just another poor review added on to the list for a company who clearly could care less about anything really.

    I called and at first very unprofessional. Got transfered to a lady named Trecia.she made the unpleasant call more better.she took the time and hear me out and resolve my matter.hopefully company promotes her to teach other co-workers how to help a customer out.thank you Trecia you made my day.

    Customer Service is the worst I've ever had. Long hold times, unable to resolve issues, and I've been sent to voice mail of anonymous person rather than being talked to. Website is next to useless. These guys are a breath above a scam, and not much else.

    I am in awe that a company this horrible is still in business. I haven't received a mortgage statement in six months. I've called and spoken with their rude customer service, left voicemails and sent emails with no response. You would think getting a statement is something that should be straightforward and easy. Nope, not with this company. I have filed a formal complaint with the government agency that overseas loan servicers and encourage others to do the same.

    This company is an absolute joke. For the record, I did not choose them. My loan was transferred from Veterans United to Selene without my consent. Customer service for Hurricane Florence disaster assistance and claim resolution was pathetic and unrealistic. In addition, I am not receiving a paycheck due to lapse in appropriation and Government shutdown and mortgage is due. They have no plan in place to take care of those individuals. I could request forbearance, but decision would not be reached for at least 30 days. What??? I am responsible for late fees and hit on my credit report if not paid on time. Sole provider for my family of 6, have never been late on mortgage payment since opened more than 5 years ago. Thanks for nothing Selene. You suck.

    Absolute worst experience I have ever had with a mortgage company, and as a Realtor that's saying something I think. The way that their so-called customer service call center is organized, no one has direct numbers, so every time you call you literally start over from the beginning with a new person. None of the call center associates seem to be trained in anything past the point of pulling up the information on their computer and regurgitating it to you, and maybe updating the file if you're lucky. They pass the buck and promise phone calls back from supervisors or other departments that in my experience never come. I have been attempting to get a short sale approved for a client in a really tough situation for more than 4 months, and absolutely no resolution in sight. I'm shocked that this company is able to stay in business at all.

    Actually my bank had a hard time managing my loan, Selene took over the processing and all went smoothly. Nothing negative to say. They are not well versed in government programs otherwise i would have giving them a five star.

    They use a signing service called secured Signing who doesn’t pay it’s Notaries. They just use them at the time of closing and when it comes time for payment they say they’re waiting on the title company if they ask you for work it’s legit but if you wanna get paid runnnnnnn!

    Very bad customer service. Took months to correct my escrow to pay my insurance. They sent checks to the wrong places. Just very very bad experience. No one seems to know what's going on ever.

    Still the worst...How they remain with in Business is they buy loans. They are the worst. If you have a choice, do not pick this company. MY home was damage during the winter store in February. I am still in a Hotel with no real clue as to when Selene will release my insurance money, so I can pay to have the repair complete as of Today. It does not matter if you are current with your loan. They need to monitor and release funds as they see fit regardless of your opinion. I am in a Hotel and have been in a Hotel for 2 month. They will not release the funds until they send an investigator to make sure you are taken care of Your house. They have loss claim department. The representatives they assigned to assist you will never call or help you. Supervisor do not have to talk to use. Water damage will remain until Selene Finance is content. You pay for your insurance, but they hinder you from getting it restored. If You have a choice, don't Do IT...

    ZERO stars if I could. Worst, worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with. I am now in my 80th day of trying to close my VA refinance and this has been dragged on because Selene is a petty and stupid company. While this process was going on my mortgage payment went up by $50 because of tax and impounds. Rather than treat me like a customer, they sent the payment check back un-cashed and refused me the opportunity to pay the difference - all while late fees pile up. In addition, this company has no contact information beyond their 877 number which gets you back to the same rubes. Who even runs this company?

    Selene Finance bought our mortgage company. We had excellent payment history. We lost our house in the Camp Fire on November 8, 2018, we called them on November 9, 2018 They refused to speak with our insurance company regarding the total loss, they've called and harassed us since November for payment. Every department has different information. They have a customer service call center that operates like commission based bill collectors. They refuse to give out extensions to their employees. They have made this grief process ten times more difficult. Our insurance company had 700 clients in Paradise, we are his ONLY clients who've had this treatment from their mortgage lender as well as the only clients who have not had their account settled. There are protocol's which most professional groups are aware of after a natural disaster, none of which have been exercised by Selene Finance. They are still sending mail to our address that no longer exists, and just this morning, we were told we need a form to change the address?. They are sending us hardship applications, and now have put late payments on our credit. One month ago we were told to overnight express the 2 party check, and we would receive our funds remaining after the mortgage was paid in 5 days. They are holding onto our funds, and every day is a new reason why they haven't done the right thing. They have not operated in an honest or timely matter. There is a reason why they are not affiliated with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office of both Texas and California know them by name. This also is an F.H.A. loan. Since you have a relationship with your lender for 10-30 years, I would not persue ANY relationship with this group of loan sharks.
