Scratchpay came to the rescue when my dog had an emergency and I didn't have funds to pay for his care. I got pre-approved for a certain amount by going online and filling out some basic personal info. This was done at the vet clinic with my cell phone - it was very quick and easy to do. I was then given the amount that I had to pay back for the next 12 months. I would get a monthly reminder when the payment was due and it was easy to log into my Scratchpay account and have the funds paid through my bank account. If I missed a payment I would get a friendly reminder to get me 'back on track' which was helpful because the interest rate is very high. At the end, once my bill was paid off, I was sent a congratulatory email which I thought was a nice touch. Definitely would recommend this service if you find yourself in a bind!

Scratchpay is amazing! I have had to deal with certain pet emergencies recently and financially I was not prepared. Thanks to scratchpay, I was able to give one of my pets a peaceful ending to a long life of 19 years. We were also able to treat my dog with sudden GI issues that without scratchpay I could not have afforded at the time! The process of applying is very easy and very fast and customer service is always friendly and helpful.

I haven't had scratch pay long but they quickly helped get a vet appointment for my dog I've had 12 years that has a tumor on her underside. The monthly payments are understandable and reasonable. However the results of the appointment weren't favorable I intent on using scratch pay to help take her to another vet in hopes she won't just have 1-3 months to live. Maybe even taking my other pet of 6 years to the vet for the first time. The customer service is wonderful and prompt. The only downside is there is quite a few clinics/locations that aren't accepted by scratch pay. Another downside is if you change your number or don't have access to your phone number you could possibly be locked out of your account but going to pay.scratchpay.com helps with that issue (I spoke with customer care). Overall I will be continuing to use scratch pay.

Scratchpay is a godsend. The process to apply is very organized, quick and easy. I was in a very serious bind w a vet that was emotionally blackmailing me to save my pet - I did not have the thousands of dollars they demanded to help my cat but scratchpay came to the rescue. I highly advise anyone in need of a loan to use them.

I had surgery and Scratchpay came to the rescue. Easy setup and monthly payments. I had one late payment, but I was put back on track without a problem. Excellent customer service. Would definitely use again.

The interest isn't the best but the convenience can't be touched. My puppy had a compound fracture. He needed help & I was frantic. It took less than 5min while sitting in the Vet ER room. I downloaded an app & bam the funds were on my account & in the Vets computer system. He was in surgery & taken care of immediately.

If it wasn't for Scratchpay, my kitties ,I have 3 right now, would not be as well as they are!!! Being on a fixed income, at times I just can't afford to take them to the vet as often as needed. Now I can keep up with their shots etc. & occasionally an injury or two as 1 of them is an indoor/outdoor cat. THANK YOU SO MUCH SCRATCHPAY!!!!!!

Scratchpay is a service I knew nothing about but am very glad my vet told me about it. I had a very unexpected and very large vet bill and I would have been very tight on funds if I needed to make the payment all at once. Scratchpay allows me to spread out my bill with a fairly low interest rate. The customer service team was very clear, direct, and helpful. Overall, a great service that I would recommend to any pet owner with an unexpected vet bill.

I will not use this way of payment again, unless I am in dire straits. My vet stopped using Care Credit because of the high interest rate if it’s not paid off in time. They switched to Scratchpay so I thought it would be good. I am not happy with it. First off, they charge interest whether you pay it off early or not. Next, they approved me immediately and told me I had an excellent credit rating (their numbers were higher than my bank numbers - which were also excellent) so I would be allowed $9000 more should I need it for my pet. A week later I needed more for follow up on my pet. Less than a hundred dollars, but I wanted to keep all my payments for this episode together. I was denied even though my credit score was the same. I called and the representative said that the whole system was automated and there was nothing they could do. The rep, who I spoke to twice, seemed to be the same person and both times was no help at all. Next, since this is a loan and not credit, it brought my credit rating down to “good”. Needless to say as soon as I saw this I paid it off (my credit rating quickly went back up to “excellent”). The payment website is also not great. Very simple. No explanations if needed. For some reason it gives you what you owe with interest and without interest. So I paid without interest since I was paying it off early. I assumed this was the reason it showed me both totals. Nope. I still had a balance for the interest. So I paid the interest just to get rid of this stupid loan. After I paid, it said I still had a balance of $0.01! So I paid that. It STILL showed a $0.01 balance. I just left it. This was August 28th. Today is Sept 27th. Today I FINALLY (a month later!) got an emailed confirmation that my loan was paid off “as of August 28, 2021”. So, this was my experience. It wasn’t good so I would not recommend this service.

I found this service extremely helpful because I'm on a fixed income and would never have the amount of money needed on hand to pay for my beloved 13 year old dog's very necessary treatment she needed! I'm very thankful that Scratchpay was available to help me and now I have small monthly payments that I can pay back easily and my old girl is doing great!!!
