SCE Credit Union - Henderson Branch W Horizon Ridge Pkwy, Henderson

A friend opened an account at this branch on Friday 8-10. Since then she has had nothing but problems trying to access the account online and on the mobile app. Does not get a security code until 3 or more hours after she requests one, and by then it’s no good. Calling the 800 customer service number does not seem to help—WHEN she can get through. And she’s called repeatedly. As a SCE customer of a few years, I am embarrassed to have recommended this institution to her. She will probably be looking for another credit union soon. Update 8-16-18: High marks to SCE management for monitoring Google reviews and having the Henderson Branch manager reach out to my friend. After many people—including IT—got involved, she now has access to the website, the app, and Bill Pay. I still don’t understand what the problem was (maybe my friend does) but grateful and relieved it was resolved. Thank you.

So today 9/22/17 I walked in to this branch and I received sub-par customer service. The teller was in the back office/break room and someone has to ask her come and help me. When the teller finally approached the window to help me, she gave me a uncomfortable look like she didn't want to help me and we'll her greeting was poor and pathetic. I have visited many of the branches in Los Angele and Las Vegas, and this is the first time I felt like my business was not wanted or she was dreading helping me. I am latino and have a beard. Not sure if that was not up to her standards. Yet, when my transaction was almost over, another customer came in and the another older lady in the back, quickly got up from her desk and rushed to help the sweet white lady. Something she didn't do for me when I came in and she told me to wait, her words where "we'll be with you shortly". I am definitely not coming back to this branch EVER, and considering switching my account to SDCCU, where I have never had poor customer service.

AMAZING experience today!! Perla answered ALL our questions, was professional, personal and very knowledgeable while working thoroughly and efficiently. We felt welcomed, wanted and appreciated. Sitting down to open new accounts was painless and simple. We were not pushed into anything but given high quality information so that we were able to make informed choices for our lives today and for the future. I've NEVER had a better experience with any other financial institution. Thank you so much!!

Would be nice of it was marked on Google that this branch is NOT open yet. It's still under construction. Could save a potential new customer (e.g. myself) from battling traffic across town to indulge in Saturday hours.
