My sister Valerie & I were both looking for a home when we met Ms. Patricia Chaffin of New American Funding through a realtor (that happens to be from the same country we emigrated from, & was recommended by our cousin). While we ultimately opted not to work with this realtor because we didn’t feel that she was able to do her job well, my sister & I decided that we wanted to keep Patricia as our loan officer because she was professional, thorough & always encouraged open communication, even after tragedy, sadly, struck her family. Patricia was professional, thorough, & my sister & I loved working with her because she showed genuine concern for us. She advised us accordingly every time anything was unclear, which was quite often since we were first time home buyers in the US. When my husband & I decided we liked a house, Patricia provided our realtor the document we needed to make an offer, after work hours. Some people just do their job; we felt that Patricia went above & beyond. My sister’s on B2, and with this visa, she worried day and night that the loan would fall through. But Patricia made it her mission to increase my sister’s loan amount from around $170k to $220k, and really fought for the loan (it wasn't smooth sailing by any means). And she succeeded. Larry and his team were exceptionally professional and coordinated, which is even more impressive considering the current situation in mid-2020. Everything went through with little-to-no issue and Larry was a great help in both providing understanding and aiding our case. I would highly reccommend him to anyone looking at home-buying.
