Savings Bank of Mendocino County S Franklin St, Fort Bragg

I went to Savings Bank to open an account. I've enjoyed local banks in other places I've lived and expected to enjoy being a customer here as well. I sat with Danica to open the account, and she finds something on Chexsystems from the last bank I had in Massachusetts. I immediately paid that bill, managed to get them to email me a letter saying the debt was paid in full, but that still wasn't enough. I was given more hoops to jump through. The manager and Danica started treating me with disrespect, as if this one failure - in over 30 years of banking - made me a lesser person. Decided to try Wells Fargo. Account was open in 20 minutes and I left with a debit card and checks in hand. I highly discourage anyone from signing on with Savings Bank in Fort Bragg.

Fantastic local bank with minimal fees and exceptional service.

A local bank that acts like anything but. All the issues of a big bank with the staffing and availability of a small-town bank. I would rather bank with Bank of America, and they don't even have a local branch.

savings Bank of mendocino fort bragg ca branch is the worst place to bank the bank management is a joke kay is rude and wont listen or even try and help when a problem arises very judgemental telling people to that they need to learn how to manage their funds and who can and cant have a debit card with a checking account very poor customer skills six times contacting them to try and fined out what is going on and still nothing .
