The wait was long (Ford's fault) but Robbie was there every step of the way to pass along details and answer any questions (there were a lot of them) I had. Everyone at the dealer were friendly, helpful, and straight forward with every aspect, not even a hint that they were trying to sell me on stuff I didn't need nor want - if you are thinking about buying a new Ford, definitely pay them a visit and you will not be disappointed. As an individual who works in the auto industry, the team at Rancho Santa Margarita Ford goes above and beyond when it comes to delivering Smileage towards their customers. Arvin in sales, kept me informed throughout the whole process regarding the timeframe and arrival of the truck and his enthusiasm and knowledge is simply remarkable. Shervin is the finance manager who helped me with all the paperwork, he was transparent, efficient and friendly. I can't say enough good things about our recent experience. We ordered our car eight months ago, and though Ford does a pretty good job of updating us on the status of our vehicle, Blake did an incredible job of keeping us in the loop. Took my 2014 Ford Escape in for a second opinion on a very expensive repair. I was so glad I did. They saved me nearly $1000! My local repair shop noted three items that needed repairs - they were correct about two issues but were wrong about my turbo line. What they had diagnosed as the problem wasn't the real issue. SM Ford took a closer look and found the real problem and in doing so, saved me a lot of money. My repairs were completed on time and I was kept informed of progress as parts had to be ordered.

This dealership marks up their trucks way over msrp to take advantage of pandemic related supply chain issues. You also are lucky enough to pay taxes on the higher adjusted price. Please support dealerships that do NOT price gouge, even if that means going out of state. Not only this, but they won't let you order certain trucks through them because they would have to honor msrp pricing. They get around this by ordering their trucks themselves and marking them way up. Another greedy dealership. Unless you want your picture on the face of their new Rolex watches, I suggest you shop elsewhere.

We take our car in here for servicing and have found them to be very courteous and helpful. They even helped us to get a defect from the factory repaired, even though we purchased from another dealer.

High priced dealer mark ups add 10K to the sticker price. Apparently because they needed to make sure we don’t make money on reselling. Card buy either of the cords I wanted. Guess I’ll look at jeep or toyota.

Came in for the 1st time to address a problem and get my oil changed. Staff is very friendly and they worked quickly and cleaned my car all in about an hour and half.

The tough part was deciding which make and model of pickup I wanted to buy. Once I landed on a Ford Raptor, choosing the dealership was easy! I want to give a belated shout out to Arvin on the Santa Margarita Ford team. We purchased a Ford Raptor about a month ago from the dealership. He made the process as easy as can be and his friendly - genuine - can do - attitude was a breath of fresh air during the transaction. Reached out online, then went to the Dealership to meet sales guy named Nick didn’t even have the courtesy to acknowledge me sent me with another sales guy who actually did assist but overall if you want quick and easy service stress free don’t go there I wouldn’t seems they don’t have enough guys in sales and can care less in ones interest.

Me and my husband had an amazing car buying experience here! Blake helped us find the perfect car. We definitely recommend working with him! He made the whole process so seamless and stress free. RC in finance also did a great job processing the paperwork and was really patient throughout the transaction!

I am extremely disappointed in the service department at this dealership. I had an appointment and upon my arrival, I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to speak to me. Once they did, the person that "helped" me was completely unhelpful. He insisted on having my oil changed when that was NOT the reason I took my car in. Once I explained the reason for my visit, the tech proceeds to tell me that I would have to leave my car for a day or more to have it looked at. LOOKED at! Not to repair a problem once it was found but only to be looked at. When I asked why, he explained that they had a lot of cars to work on. I then ask what the point is of scheduling an appointment and he started to try to spin some story and I just left. So in essence, all they did was waste my time. I drove from Laguna Niguel, took time off work and was fed nothing but nonsense. I should mention that my other vehicle is a BMW and the difference in service is unbelievable. Hey, service manager, why don't you to one of their dealerships and learn a thing or two about how to treat your clients.

Beyond pleased with my experience here. I knew the car I was looking for, and Nick was able to help myself and my husband drive away in the exact model we wanted at a very fair price (which is hard to find in this current market). Called to setup an appointment and Arvin answered and was so helpful to setup an appointment with me. Went through the process of ordering and receiving a Mustang Mach-E GT through Santa Margarita Ford. Blake assisted us in getting things done. Although it did take months for the vehicle to be assembled and delivered -- something the dealer has no control over -- Blake straightforward with us, helped us and kept us informed of every update. He was also very knowledgeable about our car, was more than happy to answer questions, and when something was not as we had expected (the car was delivered with a minor ding that occurred during transportation) he made sure that it was addressed in the best way possible for us. After that experience with this dealership and their service department, I'll choose them for anything else we may need for our cars.

2022 was not a good year to buy a car....period! I shopped around for a month and most dealers didn't have the models and features I wanted and gave a 3-6 month waiting period to order. Some of them straight up didn't bother putting in effort helping and turned away business. I will never return to those dealers, nor recommend them to anyone because they didn't understand the fundamentals of community relationships. I saw a vehicle on Santa Margarita Ford's website that was ideal for what I was looking for and contacted sales. Arvin reached out to me and said it already sold earlier in that day, but took note of the features and specs I wanted. He advised that there were some vehicles in transit with the exact features I needed and offered to reach out when it came in. Sure enough, I got a call later that week and came down in the afternoon with the vehicle already pulled up. Arvin and team went the extra mile to get me in and out in a few hours and at a fair price, still time for dinner! Real MVP! Thanks again, I'm loving the new Bronco!

The service department is very thorough. They did an inspection on my 2019 Mustang Bullitt with a explanation of the car, their findings and how to change settings for the best Mustang performance. My go to dealer for service on my truck. They communicate efficiently, respectful and honest about any issues your vehicle might have. I never feel any pressure or get the sense they are upselling anything. They give honest recommendations for you to make educated decisions. I trust their guidence and expertise. They are always respectful of my time and get you in and out. I would check this dealer out if you haven't already.

I looked throughout the SoCal area to place an order for a Mustang Mach-E trying to find a dealer that wouldn't markup over MSRP or add on additional equipment that I didn't want on my custom order. I walked into the dealership and Bryan immediately greeted me. I stated that I was there to place an order if they would agree to no markup or added accessories. He stated that they do not add markup on ordered vehicles and they wouldn't add any additional equipment. We went over to a terminal and I placed my order with him. A little over 5 months later and my vehicle arrived to the dealership. Bryan called me what had to be minutes after it arrived (I had been tracking it the best I could since it left the factory) and we started getting all of the numbers together for financing. They honored the price protection plan that ford had implemented, as well as all the rebates I was expecting. Dave was our Financing manager and he wasn't pushy and didn't try to nickel and dime us on different packages and add-ons. This is only the second dealership I would consider A+ tier that I have dealt with. I suggest anyone looking for a new Ford to feel comfortable knowing Santa Margarita Ford isn't trying pull one over you and eek out every little profit like it seems every other dealership today is. If you're looking for a great salesman look no further than Bryan Richardson. He was friendly, caring, and seemed to always be available to answer my questions. He worked to make the buying process as easy as possible and it made the whole experience a positive one.

I Bought a car at SM recently. I like this dealership, my one complaint would be that they didn't even have coffee or water for the customers. On the day I bought the car I asked for some water and the sales reps said the bottled water in the cooler was for employees only!! What! That was shocking since I just paid about 50k for a car. This dealership use to have complimentary bottled water, coffee, and the sales rep would even get a snack for the kids when you bought a car. Sad that those days are gone, now I asked for water and coffee and they said no.... :(

All the staff we worked with were great, from Jason (mgr) to Joey (sales). Although it took 10 months to get our Mach e, they were helpful in keeping us inform of its progress.

I had a good experience at Santa Margarita Ford. I stumbled upon the exact truck I was looking for online, it was at this dealer. I called and was put in-touch with a very friendly salesman who owned the same truck himself, named Drazen. I worked out a time to come down and check out the truck. When I showed up, they had parked the exact truck at the main entrance of the building and it had already been detailed inside and out. I've been bringing my trucks to SMF for service for 17 years. I bought my last truck there 12.5 years ago and was given a great deal on a custom ordered truck. I just took delivery on my new truck that I ordered before the chip shortage. They agreed to a very favorable deal for me when I ordered it and honored that deal when it finally came in even in light of the very different situation surrounding new car availability. Duane in service and Robbie in sales are top notch.

I absolutely love Santa Margarita Ford and would recommend to anyone. A little over a year ago I came to this dealership to look for a car that would provide a bit more space, since my kids are involved in sports we really needed more leg room, and truck space. Before I came here, I always had very painful experiences with dealerships. I’d get haggled, feel pressured, pushed to make a deal and made to feel as though that was the only deal I’d be able to get, etc. BUT when I came to SM Ford, the experience was quite the opposite. I’ve always been told to never ever go alone to a dealership because I’ll get a bad deal...and they may be true for some places but not here. I walked onto that lot with my 2 kids in tow, and we were not pushed, or pressured at all from the moment we arrived. I was listened to, treated with respect and patience. The people I worked with related to me, treated me with fairness and worked hard to ensure that I drove off with a great experience and with the perfect car. I can honestly say, I don’t think I ever want to go anywhere else. I’ll be directing all my friends and family there, and be going back if I ever want to get another vehicle! Oh—their service department is great as well!

I had a very positive experience. They follow up, as good sales people do, but they don't keep pressing you so I didn't feel pressure. They led with good terms, rather than a "quote high, watch them buy" mentality, and I felt good about the terms I agreed to. They gave me space to look at and consider different options, rather than direct me in any way. Everyone was courteous and responsive. Getting in and out with my new car was stress-free and didn't take a ton of time. I would definitely recommend this dealership to friends and family.
