I had a great experience with Santa Fe Title Company. They were so professional, very thorough, always answered my texts and emails immediately. On closing day, they were helpful, brought humor to the table, and were so supportive.

All the people working for Santa Fe Title were incredibly nice to us, starting with the people working at the front desk. With all the stress surrounding the sale of our house, we felt very much supported by SF Title. Diane made sure all paperwork was handled smoothly, and was available at any time for calls or emails. Good communication! Thank you Santa Fe Title, we highly recommend your services.

The Santa Fe Title Company operations seemed chaotic and disorganized. Our file was shifted through four (or was it five?) handlers, until the last--a new employee--had only a rough idea of what was happening. The documents themselves were prepared in a desultory, slipshod fashion, and insufficient care was given to ensuring that they would be signed by closing by both Sellers. Communications were not handled efficiently. On a crucial issue we were never given an honest answer. It seems that the Buyer Broker, who has a special relationship with the attorney for Santa Fe Title, appears to have been able to convince the Company to have included on our title binder document an item relating to what the Seller deemed a suspicious transaction being put forward by the Buyer Broker . In brief, we (the Sellers) discovered through a due diligence examination of the Title Binder documents that the Buyer Broker (not the Buyer) was attempting to secure an equity loan on a (our) property prior to the Buyer having completed its purchase for cash. We, as the Sellers, were being asked to insure (and pay for) the title binder on the mortgage for this equity loan. Admittedly, it is an ingenious, if brazen stratagem. Someone described it to us as something "being crooked in plain sight." Fortunately, We were able to have this entry on our title insurance document immediately removed; however, no one could (or would) inform the us how this item had found its way into our title binder documents. We have no explanation to this day. This lapse in integrity by Santa Fe title cuts to the very heart of the trust both Buyers and Sellers must have in any Title Company. A Title Company that conspires in, or allows a corruption of, the title process, that works against the interests of their client, has surely breached ethical and professional standards . We cannot recommend this Title Company.

What wonderful staff at S.F. Title. Ms. Ulibarri was so helpful and Professional. Getting ready to sell another property and will go to Santa Fe Title for the Closing. Thank you for all your hard work.

This title company is awful. Save yourself the headache, go with First American or Fidelity. Angela and Albert never answer your calls, they make thousands of simple spelling mistakes all over your paperwork. In one transaction they actually had the WRONG PROPERTY LEGAL DESCRIPTION on the deed they had the sellers get notarized. If I didn't catch it, they certainly wouldn't have. Kanah doesn't seem like she finished a basic education based on her inability to spell, read your emails, or communicate properly. This title company is disorganized, non-responsive and simply incompetent. I work with many title companies in my line of work as a real estate investor, and trust me, STAY FAR AWAY. They will cause you more problems than it is worth.

Steve Riemann and all the staff at Santa Fe Title were outstanding. Our transaction was somewhat complicated and we had complete confidence in their professional execution. And it was fun!

Real estate agents love 'em, because they work hard for the real estate agent. But they screwed up our closing and it was very upsetting. Since we eventually closed there's nothing you can do about.
