Tried to get a home loan from Sam for an urgent move. Sam was ridiculously difficult to get ahold of the entire time, and let me know reaching out for info was a nuisance. Instead of just telling us outright all paperwork he needed from us, I was constantly pulling teeth with him having to reach out and see what the next steps were. I asked him multiple times what timeline I could expect to know about our pre-approval and he wouldn't answer. Finally I had to hear from our real estate agent that he called her to say we didn't qualify for a home loan --which of course this part was not his fault-- but I asked her for more info and if he mentioned to her if he would be calling us with any update. She said he told her he'd call us to give us details. It's been a week and still haven't heard from him. This man lacks any sense of customer service or professionalism, don't waste your time with him.

Sam is amazing! Attentive, knowledgeable, and prompt! If we ever need a mortgage consultant again in the future, we will call Sam!

Sam makes the process of getting a mortgage approved easy and seamless. He is extremely detailed oriented, knows his lender's well, and has many lending options to choose from. When we started house hunting, Sam got us prequalified. Our builder uses their own mortgage company so when we chose the house, we signed up with them. Originally, to qualify, mom and dad were listed as co-buyers. Sam told us that he thought that the builder's lender could probably offer a better deal. Even though Sam thought we not using him, he counseled me on how to find a better rate, with me qualifying on my own. We decided to go with First United. The builder's lender later offered us an equivalent rate and $7000 toward closing. We stayed with Sam because he put my needs first. He guided us to a point where I got an excellent interest rate and qualified on my own.

Sam made my first time home buying process easier than I could have ever anticipated! He was quick to answer all of my questions... regardless of how many times I asked the same ones! It was a blessing to work with him!
