We did not have a pleasant experience using the notary at the Grapevine location. We called ahead and after saying he was busy all morning he made a late appointment with us at 4:30. We drove 30 minutes to meet him but when we got there with documents given to us by First United Bank he told us he couldn’t sign them and asked us to call the 1-800 number though he didn’t write the number down for us. We got the impression he just wanted us to leave so he could go home. We left and called the 1-800 number, they were confused as to why he couldn’t notarize the documents. We were just happy that she agreed with us on how strange the situation was. She recommended the Denton office as a good notary to use. This guy might do this all the time so beware. We have had really lovely experiences with First United Bank in all other instances so this was a bit of an anomaly though it did sour our impression. However, the customer service was wonderful when we called, after we left his office, to find out how to get these documents notarized.

My Mortgage Loan Consultant was Stanley Smith. He has been exceptional during the whole application and closing of the house.
