Rock Hill Pawn Shop Cherry Rd, Rock Hill

I went into the Rock Hill pawn shop to pawn my P365. It has never been shot before and it was kept in the safe most of the time. I carried it a few times on my person but that was it because it is not my primary weapon. Once in the store the dark haired guy looked at the side arm and tried to tell me it was bought used because it had some dings on it. The dings were from my wife dropping it one time onto the concrete once. I told him that the gun was purchased from Academy Sports about 8-10 months ago and anyone knows that Academy does not sell used weapons. I actually still have the receipt for the weapon. He then tried to tell me that it was missing a holster that should have came in the case with it and the gun manual. He stated because of this he could only offer me $100 dollars to pawn it or $150 to sell it. Now mind you for a side arm that was so worthless that his co-workers were very adamant to attempt to get me to sell it to them rather than pawn it. They kept trying to tell me that the side arm was an older model and not worth much. I then said yeah okay closed the case and walked out. I then went to another pawn shop that I was familiar with and they gave me $200 that I asked for to pawn without question. I used to go to Rock Hill pawn shop in the past when there were different people working there and my experiences were always pleasant. But the current workers are not customer service friendly and I will never go there again it's now on my ban list of stores. I just saw the owner's response and it's lies lies and more lies. The manager stated that he or she has photos' of my Sig Sauer P365. Well why wasn't the video uploaded or at least still shots for viewing? But since you want to play those types of games I have included the actual photos of the weapon with very unnoticeable dings. Now prove me wrong with it in my residence in my hand!!!

I come from Cincinnati, OH. and our only options for pawn shops are Cash America... :/ But from the moment I walked in I was greeted by the Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I am A Veteran and I take respect very seriously. Austin, and T are some of the best CSR type people that I have had the pleasure of doing business with. THANK YOU FOR HAVING SUCH A BADAWESOME SHOP SIRS!!!! 11/10 Will be returning to the rock hill pawn shop!!! THANKS for the geetars and lettin me jam for a time :)

I have come in several times for work equipment and jewelry and they were very professional. They took time to make sure start equipment and made sure it ran properly before leaving the store. They help load equipment. They made great conversation and smiles. Store was Covid safe made sure everyone stays safe. Very detail and knowledgeable.

I bought a new gun two weeks ago. I’ve been looking for this gun in stock for a while. Gun was marked full price. Guns and ammo are in short supply right now. Bottom line, I am happy with the purchase. Gettlleman that I dealt with could not have been nicer. They had a good supply a full-size handgun. Thinking about going back and looking around again. Thanks for the help. Oh yes, I loved the sign on your front door. It was a blast. Thanks Doug .

Just looking at some of these reviews and noticing many of the negative are months and years back? After shopping for a handgun, not knowing exactly what I was wanting. I went to Rock Hill Pawn. Came to find the salesperson (Ron) was a firmer Police Officer and firearms instructor. He completely explained things about what and how I wanted to use the weapon. Up to the point of actually talking me out of one they had mainly because I still wasn’t sure? Tell me a note retail store that does that? He help me realize the type and style weapon right for me. Gave me a location I could rent and try out the handgun. Then provided websites to research the best prices. Once I find what I’m looking for I will have it transferred to Rock Hill Pawn for sale! These guys care about you man! No doubt!

Never been in a pawn shop in my life. Went to Rock Hill Pawn due to all the postive reviews here on Google and I was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted as I entered the business by a gentleman (Ron). I was looking for a necklace and ring for my daughters college graduation gift. Now I am very hard to please but Ron worked with me for a very, very long time to help me find what I liked. He was very patient and even cleaned the jewelry and supplied a very nice box to put them in. Very professional but most of all very personable man. I will surely make Rock Hill Pawn Shop my first stop for my future purchases.

Just got a great deal on a brand new chainsaw. Johnny and Ronnie are the new managers there and are a couple of great guys. Johnny was on the floor rolling back the prices while Ronnie was up front displaying excellent customer service. Thank you for the experience today guys it seemed that everyone in the store was completely satisfied.

Great Customer Service from every staff member in the store. I called about an item I had seen online and spoke with a very nice young lady, so I made the drive from Cornelius, NC to make my purchase. When I arrived I was not only greeted by one but two of the staff and I was assisted in great detail by a staff member when I had questions about the product I was looking at. All the staff members were extremely polite, and helpful. The deal that was made was so good, I ended up buying two of what I went there to get!!

Went in to this Pawn shop to look at a Stihl chainsaw with a long bar, and Pete never gave me a chance to buy it - he wouldn't tell me the price but told me to come back when I have money to buy it? He kicked me out for no reason. No customer service, bad attitude. There are plenty of good Pawn shops in the area. Avoid Rock Hill Pawn Shop like the Plague!

I had a bad experience there.the manager t is his name curse at me .I never cussed back. I was behind on payment yes but that gave him no right to be unprofessional. When doug was the store owner this would not have been tolerated at all.

Great dealing with T today at the shop. Had great selection in laptops. Had trouble not walking out with some other items. Great team in there and a really well organized store. Can't wait to go back SOON.

Literally walk in this place, the first dude I met was very friendly (short haired). And asked me to bring in my object to be looked at, the other dude with dark brown long hair was rude and this is my first time in a pawn shop so I am clueless, but he tells me that it’s not his job to sell my stuff. If I wanted to do that then I shouldn’t have came. I mean isn’t it their job to sell people’s items. I didn’t even tell him anything about it.

Awesome pawn shop! Great selection of most anything you want. Awesome couple guys that work there are John and Ron. Apparent they live there job and care about what you need or are looking for. Best Pawn Shop in town and I’ve been to them all. Not anymore. These guys are open longer and have a better, larger selection than any others in Rock Hill. Don’t waste time go by Rock Hill Pawn andcssk fir one of these guys. They will help you out!

Love this place! Walked in and everyone said Hello and asked how my day was going very friendly, made me feel at home. Never been to a pawn shop in my life I was amazed at all the stuff they had, A gentleman by the name of John asked if I needed some help i told him I was looking around then he told me about some deals that they had going on. I love deals! So I walked around the store to see, got stuck at the jewelry counter. I love jewelry! Great selection of woman's rings John helped me choose a beautiful ring he was very helpful and knowledgeable about items in the store. I will most definitely stop by this pawn shop in the future

I don't leave many reviews but due to the exceptional experience I wanted to. I was looking for a handgun easier to conceal than the one I have. Doug came to the rescue...provided us with time, knowledge & care. He didn't mind when I checked other prices & his other staff was TOP NOTCH. I Highly recommend this place!

This is absolutely the best pawn shop in Town. Friendly staff. Honest and will help you find what you are looking for. Even if they don’t have it. And always clean. Seems like every time we go in they are cleaning shelves, vacuuming etc.. Heads and shoulders above the rest. Ron is an absolute hoot! Cuts up and makes you want to stay. Don’t go anywhere else!
