Riverwood Bank always goes above and beyond. I have been with them for over a decade and can never see myself switching. Always so helpful and positive with all interactions. Our mortgage process and refinance has gone so smooth thanks to Mari Lou! She's always responding and communicating, making it easy to understand and delightful!

Love Mary Lou! She was very informative, quick to react to any of my requests, explained everything through out the process and assured me of any issues that may arise. This was my first mortgage and I was extremely frustrated and upset about the way my previous bank handled my loan. So I decided to refinance with Mary Lou and it was the best decision I have made!

We have called Mary Lou a number of times to ask questions when we don’t have s loan and she is always there with an answer or will gladly get us one. Have worked with Mari Lou for 3 closings and 2 refi’s in the last 8 years. After the first experience I always go back and am 100% satisfied with the service. Very knowledgeable, experienced, professional, friendly and caring. I’ve moved to the cities but make the drive to Monticello (if needed, since their on-line service is great) to do my banking.

From brainstorming with us, to calling the state, calling the county, helping us with septic tank referrals, to even texting us while she was on vacation to see how everything was going. Went in to open an account, the banker was rude and stated that he had to “hurry up” because he had someone important coming in he was going to be opening 4 business account for. I had to ask about what fees, interest rates, balance requirements and so on. He gave no helpful information. Then handed me a brochure and told me to read it. We took our application and walked out. We will not be back and would not recommend Riverwood to anyone looking to open an account.
