Overall great experience. River City Mortgage did a great job in our latest refinance. The agent that I dealt with was very knowledgeable about the market and very willing to find the best loan for us and saving us the most money in the long run. I did however take one star because there was some effort change towards the end of the process which I had to keep on the agent to see where we were in the process. If I had to give my opinion on what would make it a 5 star would be to use the same type of enthusiasm to get my business, all the way through closing. Mortgages is a time game and they always want you to provide all documents quickly, well in return make information more available towards the end of the process. I would definitely recommend River City Mortgage to family and friends. Thank you.

River City Mortgage made my first refinance process easy to do. They provided me a great rate, low fees and made the process seamless. I would use them again and recommend them to any of my friends or family.

This past winter, we were looking to take advantage of the low interest rates and refinance our house. Pamela was extremely helpful with walking us through the various options. There weren’t any “hard sells” or other tactics used - she just wanted to do right by us. Communication from start to finish was excellent. Dave at River City was amazing! He closed out VA Streamline in 3 weeks where Loan Depot had us on the hook for 4 months. He communicated every step of the way and got us the best interest rate out there. I'm so impressed we will definitely be using River City Mortgage in the future.

Excellent experience refinancing my VA loan through River City Mortgage!! Our Loan Officer (Abby) did an awesome job, was very responsive, and quickly addressed any questions / concerns i had!! I highly recommend them!!

Overall we had a great experience with River City Mortgage; our loan officer/specialist was informative and we ending up getting the rate promised. The reason for the 1 star removal was due to the delay in the over all process; as a return customer all of our information was promptly provided, however, even after being told our loan would close prior to 15 Jan, the closing happened more than a week later; we incurred a cost of a late fee (which River City said they would reimburse, but we haven't received that check yet); and a VP was supposedly involved in making sure the loan wouldn't get delayed and I just didn't see the VP influence with moving the loan along; we had no issues with credit or documents, etc., we were told the underwriting was just taking longer than usual, which in my opinion shouldn't be at a detriment to the customer.

Loved using River City mortgage to handle my refinance! Everything was handled smoothly and I didn’t even have to leave the comfort of my home throughout the entire process. Great rates and great group of professionals that handled everything. Any questions I had were promptly answered. Will be recommending them to friends and family!

I was blown-away impressed with the customer service provided by River City Mtg and my loan officer, Pamela Davis. All of my questions were thoroughly answered with MY best interest at heart. I was repeatedly impressed with Pamela's knowledge and understanding of what mattered most to me. Because rates are so low, some of my friends have been through this process recently too, so we compared notes... (and I won!) Pamela made sure everything was well explained, AND the fees were better than most my friends paid on their refi's. Hands down, my process was smoother than theirs too! I can't thank you enough!

The beginning of the process was great i.e quick responses and information however, once the credit was pulled, appraisal was paid for, the representative got relaxed and I had to call, text several times for a response! My paperwork was held up for nearly 2 weeks for the final process which was frustrating due to me waiting on monies to pay for projects I was having done to my home.
