Richard spend a significant amount of time talking to me on the phone and promised to follow-up with more information. Avoid him at all cost. At the consultation he stated "2 weeks" he would file. 3 weeks come by and still didn't hear anything. Had to call him several times and chase him down to do my taxes. He is very unorganized, and continues to blame that he is "to busy", and "it's crazy"! What do you expect you are a CPA in tax season??? if you are to busy why continue to take clients? It's money over good quality service. Tried a different CPA this year, to only pay more money with horrible service.

Mr. Garcia was a pleasure to meet and consult with. I had a few questions regarding my taxes that I couldn't quite answer on my own and he kindly allowed me to express my concerns and offered me some much needed advice. I highly recommend him if you want a competent CPA who's conveniently located just north of downtown.

Does not respond to phone calls or emails. Staff member was very rude. I called about scheduling an appointment, and the person over the phone said they're not seeing anyone until after tax deadline, and that if I owe money that I should pay the IRS. If I don't owe, then I have to wait. Seriously, that's customer service?

This guy does not get back to potential customers. I've called his office numerous times and spoken with his staff over the phone about scheduling an appointment for tax advice / tax services back in January. I never got a call back from Mr. Garcia or his staff to schedule an appointment. Fast forward some weeks, and in March I called again and was told they won't see anyone until after the tax deadline. Horrible customer service. I wasted so much time and effort trying to schedule and ultimately hire this CPA, because of his "good reviews" on google. But, no. This guy doesn't get back to people, which is his lost. I'll take my business and money to another CPA who prioritizes calling back potential customers.

I tried to be proactive with hiring this CPA, Richard Garcia. I called his office a few times in early and mid January, and I was told by Mr. Garcia to wait until I have ALL my tax documents before calling him back and scheduling an appointment for his services. In March, I got all my tax documents and tried calling his office multiple times and also emailing his website's message box, and I never got any email or phone call back from his office. When I was finally able to get hold of someone from his office (a very rude guy over the phone), the person told me that Mr. Garcia won't see anyone until after the tax deadline. No call back, no email, I get one can be busy, and more busy during the tax season. But why advertise your services as a CPA and have a website and phone number, but never reach back to people calling or emailing for services.

I needed help with tax planning but most of the CPAs that I contacted would not talk to me because I'm not a business entity. Mr. Garcia made himself available to me and personally provided me with sound counsel and advice about the tax questions that I asked him. I hope to enlist his help again when I file my federal income tax return in the future.

Mr. Richard has in depth knowledge of different tax situations. He is also really friendly and take personal interest in your tax situation and advice you accordingly. I highly recommend Mr. Richard for personal or business related tax advice.

As a Canadian selling land in Texas, cold calling CPAs for help was less then fruitful until Richard answered my call. I highly recommend Richard Garcia! We had a lot of financial issues we needed help and a direction with. We went to two Estate Lawyers and three other CPAs and none of them wanted to help us.
