Generations Federal Credit Union Reviews

I filled out my shared branching form the same way I always do when depositing, and the bank teller didn’t bother to double check any of her work and deposited my check wrong. They promised they would be able to resolve the issue by the end of the day, the promised they would call me when my deposit was released. Now the offices are closed and I haven’t heard a word. This is the worst result of one simple errand I have ever needed to run. I’ll be eating ramen all week because of your careless employees. Consider going to another location or just avoid this credit union completely. update: They fixed *most* of the error in 48 hours but it still should have never happened in the first place, and still was a great inconvenience. The Fredricksburg location has better employees and shorter lines.

So apparently you can deposit money at the drive through but if you put it in the drop box you have to wait till the next business day which for me isn't till Monday. This is bank has been at its worst all year for me. Come Monday, I'm taking my money and after 14 years closing my account.

We switched our business checking from Wells Fargo and have never looked back. Apart from the savings in fees, the service here is fast and efficient and with their web access we can do everything we need to manage our business account. We also have a dedicated business account manager who's only a phone call away.

When I first opened my account there 4 years ago, the employees were friendly and nice. The past year, these new girls there are rude and nasty as possible

I love this credit union especially the St Mary street location. Unfortunately today was a bad experience, the teller had a flat affect did not smile or greet me In Anyway. Her words were “What can I do for you today” Her time was sharp and unbothered Omg I almost just turned right back around as if I was in the wrong place... During my entire transaction I was afraid to do multiple transactions because I was afraid she was going to get more frustrated. I just told her not to worry about my last transaction i will just do it online Worse experience ever.... Never had that experience before.. Everyone is usually smiling and welcoming. . This was at0935 and teller number 4332 Worse affect everNo smile No greeting Rush visit. No one wants to be rushed when it comes to their money..I literally felt nervous and rushed...I had to sit in my car just to make sure I didn’t make any mistakes after being Rushed....

I was attending an art festival in downtown San Antonio on November 3 when my car was towed from your bank parking lot by Creswell Towing. Along with my car, about a dozen others were towed. The event coordinator had an agreement with your bank that patrons could park there but the towing company took the cars anyway even after being informed of this. No one was notified their cars were taken until after they were gone so there was no opportunity to move your vehicle. Every person that had there car towed had to pay a $250 fine. The towing company is claiming your company never notified them of this and that they have an agreement that they can tow from your lot at any time. I hope you will look into this matter as it has cost many people a lot of time and money lost!
Hi Christina, After looking into this, we have confirmed that there was no discussion between a Generations FCU staff member and the art festival coordinators regarding parking permission for vehicles during the event. Our branch parking lot also has signage posted warning that vehicles may be towed if parked there after business hours. We apologize for the misinformation you were given at the time and the inconvenience it has caused you.

The slowest location i’ve been to. There were 4 workers at the time but apparently only 1 of them could deposit my check??!!? The only thing I was there for was to submit my signed check which should of been super quick but had to wait 15 minutes. Very frustrating.

Domimic was very rude and slow, every question I asked her was followed by the response "It is self explanatory " which means my questions went unanswered management really needs to look into this, my bank does the shared banking with them, my bank also needs to look into this and do business with a more professional bank... Spent over 30 minutes in line in the lobby
