Republic Bank Rte, Marlton

Originally we had nothing but great experiences with Republic up until now. My wife and I were forced to move to a different state due to lack of employment from COVID and decided to stick with Republic because they had typically been very accommodating and understanding, until today... having relocated to North Carolina, there were a few bills we needed to switch to different accounts, but as you may know, you miss some from time to time. So we had over-drafted recently and received our normal call to resolve the charges, in which I had answered and asked to call them back in a few minutes as I was on the other line with work. I called back literally 3 minutes later to hopefully resolve the issues, but the employee, Janine, had already taken it upon herself to choose which charges were to be returned and I was told they are unable to adjust it now that she had submitted the returns. So because she couldn’t wait for 3 minutes for me to call back, we are now left without funds, unable to get proper treatment or even see our physicians and both my wife and I have just been diagnosed with COVID last night. It’s now past the window of opportunity to fix the adjustments, they can settle over drafts from 8:30am-10:00am EST, and can’t even get our necessary prescription or OTC medication to help us cope with the symptoms. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced at ANY bank and highly recommend that anyone interested in going here for an account either use an alternate location or bank.

Very friendly employees that are informative and patient. Republic Bank is true to their policy's and I personally feel very safe having my money there. Very nice interactions here and the coin counting service is free!

I usually don't do surveys but the asst manager guy that works in this location is the worst person I have ever come across as a bank specialist and honestly I am not sure why he still has that job. He is rude, lacks customer's service and I am sure he is a miserable person and he brings his misery at to the work place. If there is anything worst than 1 star I would have given it to this joker.

Cant wait for them to make their way north....the next major city will be a no brainer. Excellent service, excellent product, customer centric and poised to take over the industry if they can get into New York City and Long island! You just can't beat them,I dare you to find something better!

I went into the bank after hours at 4:45pm today to make a cash deposit. When I insert my card into the ATM after getting inside, the ATM held my card for 15 mins and it immediately started to shutdown and then 5 mins later it starts to reboot meanwhile my card is still stuck in the ATM. So I wait and wait hoping that it will reboot and I’d be able to make my deposit but eventually it let go of my card and I walked out very very disappointed because I needed to make that deposit to pay bills, etc. I love Republic Bank and I have been banking with them for about 3 years now I believe and I love everything about it but this experience I had today with the ATM had made me reconsider if I should stay or go to another bank who will be happy to take my money but I will try my hardest not to do that as long as they don’t schedule an ATM reboot when I come in to make a deposit!

I inquired about opening a new business account with the aforementioned bank. Upon arrival, I met with assistant manager, Jenn Lewis. Ms. Lewis answered all of my questions and was a true professional in every sense of the word. Needless to say I am now a customer with Republic and I could not be happier. I highly recommend this bank for your financial needs!

I DO NOT trust this bank at all... went to open a checking account with one of the managers. His name was Chris. Come to find out, that he entered my social incorrect in the system so when I went to call customer service to get help with my online banking, they couldn’t find any of my accounts. I got transfered to Chris(Marlton) and he said that he was going to send me an email within 5-10 minutes for me to sign. Never received it. So I went into the branch instead. Signed the form, and Chris said he was going to get it processed and give me a call when it’s all good. Haven’t received that call from him.. waited a couple days. Went into the the Medford location Wednesday night.. come to find out that my social wasn’t updated STILL!!! The manager told me that she would get it handled tonight(went in around 7:30ish), and she said she would call me. It’s Saturday morning and haven’t received a call from either Chris or the manager at the Medford location. I don’t trust this bank to handle my money!!!! I don’t recommend this bank to anyone. UPDATE: Issue still not resolved and it’s October 16th. Received no call, nothing. I called them this morning, told them that I wanted to close out my checking account... he told me to hold on while he went to call both Medford and Marlton to get it resolved. He came back 15 minutes later and he told me that they put him on hold for a long time... closing my accounts! First impression really had a HUGE trust issue with this bank. Lack of customer service and lack of employees...

Absolutely no Customer service. Very hard to get a hold of a manager.
