I was referred to First Reliance Capital LLC by a friend. Lance Kirshner worked with me throughout the process of refinancing my home, he guided me every step of the way. He is knowledgeable, he answered all my questions, he is professional, polite and reliable. Lance is very attentive he responded to my email, voice-mail and text in a timely manner. I had attempted to refinance before with other companies, and paid for appraisals that ended up being for nothing. I was more than a little skeptical when I met Lance Kirshner, who told me a lot of the same I had heard from other Brokers, rates are good, save me money, get cash out etc. I have to tell you, this man is the real deal, worked hard, was always super fast to get back to me, and give it to me straight, we had a few complications (on our end) that he helped clear up for us, with incredible patience, professionalism, and grace. In the end he got us everything he promised and more, I couldn't be happier, and so long as he is in the business I will never need to look for a "mortgage guy" again, hes an absolute Pro.

Mr.K was very patience, understanding, caring and knowledgeable about his work. On a whole he was really awesome and great to my needs. Very disappointed in These folks!!! They called my Husband and we started a process with them, everything sounded great upfront then it all went crazy after they ran my credit as well for income purposes telling us if they couldn't help they could point us in the right direction the whole time it all looked great, called with a deal, then we started asking questions and now all of a sudden they won't return our calls, tell us anything even after she had a 6:00 appointment to call us back. We thought they were really gonna be great folks to work with, I'm very heartbroken over the whole ordeal just very disappointed.

Frederick Danner and Roberta Henning helped me from the start, all the way to the end. They were always available, always courteous, and always helpful. When the Title Company dropper the ball on paperwork for our loan, Roberta got it handled! And they never minded me asking lots of questions! The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because Reliance's title company is TERRIBLE. Thankfully, Reliance was able to fill the gap!

I am beyond disappointed with the process that I just spent weeks on to find out that our refinance has fallen through. Not because things didn’t line up, but because the company “changed” qualifying factors in a short amount of time while I was in the process of refinancing. I initially received a call from Amanda stating that “there are programs for everyone” to refinance and “please give us the time to take care of you”. After leaving numerous messages for Amanda and receiving minimal follow-up, I proceeded to call until I received an answer. I was told that unfortunately, as of last night while in the middle of the process, they changed the thresholds of programs from 90% to 85% which means that I now don’t qualify. How convenient that they changed something that knocked me out over a week after I started just to do it. I was led on for weeks by numerous lenders and spent countless time on the phone for it to go nowhere. I told Reliance when they reached out that I didn’t want to go through something that would fall short, but was told “we have a program for everyone”. I told Amanda that I don’t want to go through this and spend time on something to go nowhere. Her over-optimistic attitude and lack of follow through is why I have decided to post this review. Do not believe that Reliance will take care of you because they have one goal in mind. They do not have a program for you, but will try to get you locked into high rates in the future when you may qualify. I was doing this as a need rather than a want, so hopefully no one will fall into the abyss of lies that Reliance tries to pedal because what company changes qualifications to abruptly halt a current refinance. They just said “oh, well, the approval process has changed and you’re out of luck”. I will not use them in the future as they have lost my trust as they do not follow up with you unless they are going to make money off of you. Beyond disappointed.

The moment I spoke with Andrew at Reliance First Capital about refinancing my mortgage I knew I was speaking with the right person. He cared and gave me great advice on my current situation. Talking to Andrew was like talking to a close family member. He was right on point and everything he promised happened. From the very start Steve made you feel like he was your family member advocating on your behalf. Because my loan process was rather complicated where we encountered many hurdles causing me doubt and discouragement, Steve navigated me through the process with focus and determination and a promise from the very beginning that we will cross the finish line. After a long an arduous journey, Steve delivered on his promise. In conclusion, I felt that from start to finish, this loan officer carried himself in my best interest.

I started a refinance 3 months ago and layed everything on the table. I paid 700 $ for a appraisal because they were confident it would go through. After hearing nothing for weeks I get a call that it has been rejected because something was not looked into. I had to send the same paperwork over and over because it was being lost or forgotten about. Not happy at all with the results or the lack of communication.

If you work with this company an you receive a mortgage broker by the name of Kenneth Watson request another person to handle your loan inquiry I received horrible customer service from Kenneth Watson. He was unresponsive, unknowledgeable regarding his job, said he had me mixed up with another customer with my name that also resided in my state. Never read/ acknowledged emails, on numerous occasions stated he would call me back but days later heard nothing. I should’ve read the reviews before starting to work with this company but I will be adding to the reviews now so hopefully someone else won’t waist their time.
