I do not recommend banking with Regions Bank in general to anyone first and foremost I won't go into detail as to why because I just do not have the energy but I will say this Russell Anderson really helped make the transition a lot smoother. I was about to lose my mind because a hold was put on my account and they were keeping my money hostage and he worked it out for me and he was the only one that would listen to me and actually take the time to help me and that means a lot these days because people are so rude and nasty. Regions Bank needs more employees and managers JUST LIKE RUSSELL ANDERSON!!! Thank you again!!!!

I came in asking for assistance about money that wasn’t deposited into a new account I opened. The gentleman helping me seemed to be fine. He said he would reach back out once the investigation was over. It’s been 3 weeks, no one has reached out to me about where my deposit is.
We're sorry to hear of this matter, Dajah. If you'd like to discuss with our team, please send us an email to [email protected] with your phone number. -Tyler

We went to the Regions bank in Charlotte, North Carolina located downtown at 615 College Street Charlotte, NC 28202 to open a business bank account after being referred by a customer. I opened it in this branch with Taron Robinson and it took almost 2 hours. I was told in order to meet the requirements for the referral reward program of $150 each, I needed to open the business account with a $500 opening deposit and make one debit card transaction, enroll in online statements and the account needed to be open for 60 days. I did as I was told by the banker who opened the account. I called and spoke with the banker Taron Robinson days later and he verified it was all set and if I did not hear from him the next week then I was all set. 60 days went past and I met all criteria and even went into the branch to open an additional account, I was barely greeted by the unprofessional manager Russell Anderson and the associate who opened the second account was Maureen who was inexperienced and did not know how to open business accounts and asked other bankers for assistance at least 10 times and kept apologizing for not knowing, almost 3 hours later the account was opened and they had to give me multiple parking passes to get out Free because of being there for roughly 3 hours which only one parking pass worked and I still had to pay $17 to Get out, they didn’t even know that. Once that long ordeal was done with, I got home and because the banker Maureen did not offer to enroll me for online banking in the branch, I tried to enroll the new separate account in online banking at home, of course due to branch banker error, it did not work and when I called customer service because I could not get online, they said it was opened incorrectly in the branch so I had to speak with them. The next day I called the branch manager Russell Anderson who said he didn’t know what was going on or why I couldn't get online and Maureen was off so I needed to wait until she came back into the branch because he doesn’t have a key to her desk. So days later I called back, and we found out Maureen put my social where the tax id should have been, which was no surprise because she clearly didn’t know what she was doing. After that bank error was figured out, I got an email saying I needed to verify my address so I emailed the branch manager a copy of my phone bill & drivers license with matching addresses. Never heard anything back from the Branch Manager Russell, no follow-up email, no follow-up phone call nothing, so weeks later I decided due to their unprofessionalism and lack of knowledge of their banking products that I would check the status of my referral program and after the 60 days which was the last requirement to meet for the referral rewards on the first account I opened, I find out the first business account was closed on the 62nd day. Without explanation or notice and of course they claimed they could no longer give me/us our reward even though the account met each and every requirement, I spoke with associates to confirm everything I needed to do. They did not want to pay out the $300 reward and chose to close the account. When I call the branch for Taron they had us on hold for over 50 minutes without checking back and other times they claim he is with another customer or at lunch, in my personal opinion to avoid the fact they closed an account and don’t want to give the rewards earned. Another branch banker named Manny said he would call us back with an update and of course never did. That entire team is horrible and unprofessional. I strongly recommend not opening an account with Regions Bank as they are untrustworthy & unprofessional!

Regions is the worst bank ever. They like to take money out of your account then change your overdraft protection plan and charge 36$ if over drawn..... One day they can help the next day it's impossible to do something..... Robbers!

Maureen is wonderful!! She advised me throughout my home buying process and answered all my questions. Everyone in this branch is very approachable, professional and easy to work with.

We used Regions for our mortgage and have been very satisfied with the process. Lance Johnson and his team handled our loan and did a phenomenal job. It all went very smooth and we felt like important customers the entire time. My favorite thing about working with Lance was that he gave us all of the options in regards to the loan product. He was patient with us and answered our questions as we considered all the variables. Extremely happy.

I had an awful experience with this bank. They did not honor their promotion and their customer service was painful. I spoke to the branch manager Russell Anderson several times, who said he was working on my issue, but after having to follow up with him several times, I gave up.
