Phil is a great guy! The change in management speaks for itself. The individuals who left 1-star reviews are either clueless about how loan companies operate or somebody did something to their cereal in the morning. The staff is easy to work with and they listen to your needs. As long as you understand how to communicate and have respect for others you will have a great experience coming to Regional Finance here in Duluth!

So here is the story. Apparently I received a phone call last week from a woman who sounded very unprofessional. She notified me that I was randomly preselected for a loan check sometime in July. She told me that a check was sent out to me and was cashed and that they needed to discuss my repayment plan for the loan. I told the woman that I had received no check and that they must have the wrong person. She says okay well let me get some information from you because we have to do an investigation to see where the check went… I told her that I did not feel comfortable giving someone random sensitive information about myself especially about a check I never received nor cashed and that I wanted to talk to a supervisor on the phone to find out if this was legit a real company or a scam. She put me on hold multiple times as she claims that the supervisor needed five more minutes every five minutes until she stated that he would be giving me a call back because he was not available even after the 20 minute wait. (He never called me back) This definitely sounds like a scam. Has anyone gone through this with this company. I am going to be calling this week to find out what is going on, I am going to the police and my lawyer if this is not settled. I am confident enough to go to the news about this scam as well. Anyone with any information, please let me know. I have not received a loan from this company let alone have I cashed any checks. I don’t need it. I will not be giving this company any personal information from myself due to all the negative reviews and 1 star rating I have seen plastered all over the internet of this notorious company. They can search all they want to find out who cashed the check but I can guarantee to you that they won’t find anything to do with me. If you find yourself in this situation with this company, report it immediately to the authorities. This is not legal. I can’t stand companies that try to take advantage of peoples lack of knowledge.
