Redwood Credit Union Covert Ln, Sebastopol

I changed over to RCU years ago when a lot of us voted against the big banks with our "feet". I've been very happy at RCU. You get to talk to real people in a reasonable amount of time. They really try to give good customer service and I feel they are always looking for ways to improve. One perk I love is when I need to go to an ATM, and I'm not close to a RCU ATM, they will credit back the fee for using a different bank. There is a limit of course on the number of times a month you can do this, but it's always more than enough for me.

I love Redwood Credit Union,& their excellent staff,& service.We have been members since very near their beginning.But…… I just wish they would pick better locations with more parking,& a drive through at at least one of them would be great!-(.Being partially disabled,the drive through would be especially welcomed!)

This is by far my favorite RCU branch. I love the sweet teller Emma and the branch manager Stephen who is always there and ready to get the job done ✅. There is hardly ever a line. I just love the warm community atmosphere which is very uncommon for a banking institution nowadays.

The amount of time it takes to make batch deposits is consistently too long. There is no option to make a night deposit, and waiting in line takes forever. I want to like this bank because we switched about a year ago, but I am not impressed with the customer service at all.

Not good. I'd been wanting RCU to come to Sebastopol for a long time. A month or two after I joined one of the tellers credited a $3,000 deposit to another person — I was later told we had the same name. For some reason they do not use deposit slips to verify account numbers. When I had to run around and fix the overdrafts with the other banks they gave me a letter saying "a mistake has been made." It would have been nice for them to admit responsibility, as in: "our bank made a mistake!" It would also have been nice for them to offer me something for all the time I spent correcting their mistake. Their attitude was: no big deal, and it wasn't for them. For me it was a huge hassle. All I wanted was for them to understand what a HUGE hassle it was for me and make some small amends. That never happened. Not good at all.

I've been an RCU member for several decades. Super glad there's a branch near my home in Sebastopol; the folks there, like Emma, are always friendly, helpful and pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend RCU to everyone! Support the local community through your banking process.

My sister is 80 plus yrs old she has come into RCU 3 times one time waiting a very long time to open an account. She was IGNORED my sister retired from being a teller. They never said can I help you hello NOTHING! this

I have been a member for several years. RCU is an excellent local credit union that strongly supports the local community and they have information and education about finances, budgetting tools, friendly and competent staff, and competitive rates. I have all of my accounts with them, and I switched my mortgage to them a few years ago.

Redwood Credit Union allows you to set up alerts on your accounts except for your credit card which is the one most likely account to have a fraudulent charge. It's too bad that they don't protect the most likely account to be comprised. It can't be that hard and fraudulent use of credit cards is costing us all.

I don't usually write reviews but this branch is worth going the extra mile to thank. Kind, curtious customer service and a great affinity for detail. They are like a regular bank except you are their investors and they treat you like a person because of that. I wouldent go back to a bank after dealing with these guys
