This is my third purchase & rehab with RCN. The experience has been great! I have no complaints. Alan Johnson has been my go-to guy! He has been there step-by-step to assist me through the process. From start to finish the closing process is between 14 to 21 days. I would definitely recommend RCN Capital to any investors looking for a professional experience with a fast closing! As an investor I have to say that I had a fantastic experience with RCN Capital. Christine and Robert were amazing. They followed through on their services and closed two or 3 days after planned but that was due to the holidays. They made the experience easy for an out of state investor and helped me grow my portfolio buy purchasing a duplex. Thank you and will def use them again. Update: 5 months later! Google would t let me put another seperate review and I wanted to give a shout-out to Christine, Erin, and Robert this time. All my experiences with them have been amazing. Since the first project I have now used RCN to acquire 2 more multi families this time they were all on time and less than 20 days. I def recommend RCN to any investor considering them. Just make sure you have the needed liquidity, a budget plan, and the breakdown of your expected results with proof and they will back you up! 5 stars all around.

True nightmare! Locked in our rates and on Friday 10am they stopped responding and said our rate lock expired and charged us another 2 points to close the deal. Predatory Lending. I am complaining to the Better Business and everyone else should also. If this happened to you. Terrible communication. I am about to seek Legal Representation against them.

Well, underwriting took 3 weeks. They used to be fast but they said there issues with the legal team being short. Lacks follow up, I was the one constantly asking for an update every 3 days or so. The only thing good about RCN, Fix and Flip loans rates are competitive.

We’ve used RCN Capital three times now for investment purchases/refinance and they’re far better than Lending Home/Kiavi with communication and rates/pricing. Only point of frustration, and it’s a tiny one, is that the application and acquiring a preapproval letter isn’t online and automatic. Would be a huge advantage in this market where properties move so quickly.

A true nightmare. The communication was good at first to get me in the door but soon turned to nearly non existent. I was told my rate was locked and it turned out not to be which they said caused my rate to increase by over 2 points due to market changes. After nearly 3 months of trying to get my loan done, I had to pull the plug and go elsewhere.

Erick Pisauro is a rockstar!!! He was Absolutely amazing!!! He requested a list of documents needed. I submitted the documents right away he closed my loan fast!! less than 30 days. He was very knowledgeable, courteous & return calls promptly. I would most definitely recommend Erick as your choice for a loan officer and Im looking forward to doing my next loan with him. Almost lost a deal trying to Finance with RCN Capital. They charge $1000 for an appraisal that took over a week to get back. Poor communication from the loan processor, could never get them on him phone for an update. Seller needed to close asap and got financing from Easy Street Capital in two days. Save you money and time and find another lender. I’m sad it didn’t work out.

Rates are a little better than other direct lenders I’ve contacted, but they do not manage the process well and don’t get the required documents on time without you pushing them or reminding them to keep the loan moving. Theoretically their process is relatively straightforward, but they cannot meet deadlines and are lax and uncaring about it. I closed 4 loans with them, literally every single one could not meet the original scheduled closing date and had to be pushed back. I gave them the benefit of the doubt a few times, but the last one, after giving a lot of advance notice and checking in constantly in order to avoid another late closing, they still dropped the ball!! I just saw how incompetent they are at meeting closing dates, despite being assured multiple times over a month they can meet it, it’s all talk and lies. Embarrassing, unprofessional and at the end the loan officer literally threw her hands up and said nothing she could do. I was going to close a 5th loan with them and after the last one I gave up, pulled it and closed cash because I was 100% confident they would not meet the closing date as they blindly promise.
