Had a car loan recently paid off, and I wanted my title sent to a different address because I now live at another, I called and they helped me change the address on record. Everything seemed fine but my title never came in the mail, turns out they never changed my address in the system. When I called later a representative said it had not changed in the system, and the title was sent to the previous address. Since I no longer reside at the old address I asked what they could do since it was obviously their fault sending it to the wrong address, they said they couldn't do anything and now its up to me to track it down and drive hours away. Don't deal with the shenanigans and bank somewhere else.

    Response from the owner

My husband just took out a truck loan through RIACU and we decided to move all of our accounts and our children's accounts here. Our appointment time was 1pm on Friday, July 10th. We paid a babysitter sitter for our children and my husband left work early. Not to mention the $37 to obtain my children's birth certificates. When we arrived at the branch.Tom told us we did not have an appointment and was very annoyed about the person at the call center and discussed in detail how he was going to get to the bottom of it. Then finally asked what we needed. When my husband and myself explained what we were there to do. We could tell he was not in the mood to help us at all. He said to do anything I needed my social security card. (This was odd to me??) If that is your policy why couldn't I just verbally give him my number and then bring the card back to be scan later? Mind you I had everything with me that I was told to bring except for my own social security card. We explain this to Tom, and he continued to tell us how he could not help us. So we said we would drive the 40 min round trip home and retrieve my card and come back, explaining we paid a babysitter and my husband got off work early for this. Tom then proceeded to tell us we could do that but if somebody was in his office when we got back do to covid protocol we would then have to sit out in our vehicle and wait for him. That statement from him solidified for us that he wanted nothing to do with us. My husband and I are a multiracial couple, I truly hope this is not his reason for brushing us off. We have a good amount of money in our checkings and savings and our children savings that we wanted to bring to thiscthis union. But due to this employee, not only will we not be using your credit union but we are in the process of pulling my husband's $30,000 truck loan with interest from your credit union as well. I'm not looking for an apology nor another appointment. I just think it's important that you know the type of person that is working for you at the Moline branch that caused you to lose a lot of money. Which you may not need, but word of mouth does go a long way in this current society.

They start off by giving you a loan and you have deposit money in account then if you don't deposit enough money at regular intervals they assess fees to your account yet I deposit 5.00 dollars open account and never once told be deposit money once I did that's when it started taking money from me . I had a car loan through them and never missed a payment then paid it off . I was worn by other stay away from them now I know . They are crooks in my mind .
