Public Service Credit Union Reviews

Just visited public service credit union and I was treated like I was a problem for the women at the front desk. It was as if I was putting her out. Due to her attitude I decided to take my $60,000. Else where. It's not a lot of money but it's my life savings. I shouldn't have to beg someone to take my money. Due to her terrible attitude I'm out.

I don't like that their ATM won't allow check deposits. Also a bit frustrating that you can't use this credit union unless you have your account number ? Usually most will have you swipe your ATM card and get your license and another form of I.D and help you this way but not them!!!

I have had an amazing experience with Public Service Credit Union. During a time of deep uncertainty in the small business world, PSCU in general, and Stephanie and Brian, in particular, proved why it is always better to go with a local bank than a large corporation. They worked with me to overcome issues and were someone I could reach out to to overcome obstacles, as opposed to reaching someone from a call center like you do at the chain banks. I highly recommend both PSCU in general and Stephanie and Brian in particular.

PSCU is simply AMAZING! Danielle F helped me get an account and it was the best thing. I have yet to speak with anyone who isn't kind! Dominique in the call center is always so sweet Sara W helped me with answering questions on getting a loan. Flat Rock is the main branch I go to and they are all so wonderful. everyone is so friendly.

Pretty good rates on car loans. Customer Sevice is a hit or miss, more so with the loan officers in the inside, they won't go out of their way to be friendly or helpful. The women that helps customers at the teller windows attitudes toward customers are much more welcoming. I've been a member for over 20 years and I have noticed that there seems to be a high change over with staff that happens rather frequently

I thought the whole reason for direct deposit is so your paycheck gets deposited sooner. This credit union used to deposit our paychecks at the same time on the eve before payday for years. In the past 6 months there are times we don't get paid until late on payday. I don't understand how you can put people on hold for hours to get paid, if you have direct deposit?

This “bank” goes against everything a bank is supposed to be. Your money is not really yours here. It will be hard to access and they lock and limit your debit card on a whim. This “bank” is only barely suitable for a 5 year old. If you’re an adult looking for a good, reliable bank then keep looking

This is the worst bank I’ve ever had the misfortune of working with. Don’t choose this bank because your card will be declined for unknown reasons even when you have the funds. They place small limits on your debit cards so that you can’t spend more than a 16 year old. On top of that the staff is rude and condescending as if every customer is a child or senile. I’m closing my account here as soon as I possibly can.

I would give 0 stars if I could. My son and I opened a savings account for him when he was 5 years old. He was so proud to open it and to save his money. He even carried in his piggy bank proudly. Sadly they sent his life saving to the state of Michigan because he wasn’t taking money out of his account and closed his account. He is a child and that was a saving account for saving!!! I can’t believe a bank can do this to a child.

I was introduced to Stephanie Mitchell and the Public Service Credit Union by a friend. All I can say is on a scale of 1-10 they area a 12. Super responsive, friendly and efficient. It reminds my of quality banking relationships from decades ago.

Last year I opened a business account at Public Service Credit Union. I had the pleasure of working with Stepanie Mitchell. Stephane is amazing, she professional, knowledgeable and she gets the job done. I've been very satisfied with the service that I have received from Stephanie and I will refer my family, friends and business colleagues to Public Service Credit Union
