Tracy Waight at Prominent Title is a smart, efficient, very knowledgeable woman who takes care of all your title needs. She always has a warm and welcoming presence, and a big smile that says "I'm happy to see you and want to help!" She wrote the book on fabulous customer service!

Prominent title is the worst. I’ve bought and sold many homes and never had such a bad experience. Most title companies are able to perform their basic and common sense duties. Prominent failed to do that and ended up costing me thousands of dollars due to their miscalculation of the tax credit due me by the seller. If you have a choice, I form your sent to stay away from these people.

Prominent Title Company was the company that the seller of our property negotiated to use. We bought in January of 2016. My husband was the only one on the loan but I was supposed to be on the title. During setting up closing, Julie and Prominent Title kept adding a similar spelling of my email address, but not my address to the emails instead of replying all to the correct email. This resulted in an individual that was not me getting private information multiple times. The individual, that we do not know, had to reply multiple times that they were not related to the sale. At closing, Julie had spelled my name incorrectly and incompletely on the title form (despite the multiple corrections). She told me to sign it anyway. After closing, we found that she had only put my husband on the title. On informing her of the error, she stated that if we were to divorce that I would get half of the house regardless (thanks for the unsolicited advice?). After pushing back, she stated it would cost $500 to correct. On pointing out that it was her mistake and not ours, she stated that they would cover it and that she would send a courier with the appropriate paperwork. This was in March of 2016. It is March of 2018, we never got a courier or the paperwork corrected. Stay away from Prominent Title. This city is booming with respectable individuals related to real estate. You do not have to work with this company. I have documents to support all claims made in this statement.
