Lance was wonderful!!! He made the process easy and smooth. He answered all of our questions and provided us with different loan types and scenarios. He really worked with us to get us the best loan, rate and payment possible. He had our loan approved very quickly and put us in a great position to get our offer accepted. His communication was on point with all parties involved and put us in a position to close early. This could not have gone any better!! PRMG, in their infinite wisdom, decided to pull money from our escrow account to pay for an insurance policy that, 1) is not the same insurance company we use and 2) is not a policy that is even under our name. They literally paid for someone else’s insurance policy with our money. We identified this issue in less than 20 minutes, however, after calling them over the course of 2 days and explaining the issue to them, they are still going to take about 20 DAYS to do their little investigation and “cut us a check” once they determine their mistake. You might have better luck having someone else manage your money; like a distant relative that you knew when you were 5 but don’t speak to anymore, or a stranger on the street. They are now trying to pass the issue onto us to resolve. An "escalation agent" had the audacity to suggest that we call the other partie's insurance company. No. You made this erroneou decision, YOU clean it up.

The whole team is very professional and knowledgeable. Always close the loans on time. Prompt in addressing all the queries and issues throughout the process.

Jeff Haroldsen brought a personal touch to our home mortgage experience. He helped us time the market to get a great interest rate with low fees. Once our rate was locked in we had a few issues we had to overcome. That is where Jeff and the rest of the Simi Valey PRMG team really shined, they helped us through that process and got us to the finish line. Rebuilding after the CA wildfires was challenging enough then dealing with COVID made things a little more complicated. Jeff's team handled everything safely and even coordinated a remote notary service that came to our home and we signed the documents outside on the back porch.

Update from my last review. Two months ago we spoke with the regional manager who agreed to only give us the money for both appraisals back as long as we sent an email stating that if they did we would not sue them for their negligence. My husband has called multiple times and has been told that it’s “processing” and it will be deposited back to the account it was taken out of. Not sure if we will ever get this money back. Like I said before, home buyers beware. Not sure how they have so many 5 star reviews after reading that the same thing that happened to my husband and I happened to others.

Mr. Alonso at PRMG excelled and surpassed my client’s expectations...although it was an extremely stressful situation at times, his expertise, confidence, and guidance gave my clients piece of mind throughout the negotiations. Because of your underwriting department the close on my house in Oklahoma City has gone bust. We have has three closing dates that all busted. You should be ashamed of yourselves. These are peoples lives you are messing with. The buyer of my home had her house packed up twice in a uhaul. What should have closed March 10 and didn’t close today after three closing dates in the worst professional mess I have ever been around. Thus your underwriting department has had weeks to get it together. I am disgusted and hope to never have to deal with this company and I will make sure I let anyone not to do business. There are more reputable professionals companies out there.

Before I found Ryan at PRMG I had done an online application that was supposed to be easy and a done deal. Well that did happen and my loan did not close and I was out a appraisal fee. My credit union referred me to Ryan at PRMG. It was nice talking to and actual person that knew what he was doing and was there when I had questions. The process went very smooth and I did not have all the troubles I had with Better mortgage company. I’m very thankful I got to work with a reputable company that has experienced mortgage sales staff and people willing to work with you. Beware of places like Better.com and Loandepot.com. I have had bad experiences with both companies. Your best bet is to work with a company like PRMG that has that more personable approach.

John and his team at PRMG made my first home buying experience absolutely fantastic. During a seller’s market he was always available for advice and was able to give up to date accurate information regarding a variety of different financial variables. I am writting this as a SELLER...I gave a 1 star because zero is not an option. We have been 140 days since accepting the offer on our home. We have had 3 closings cancelled so I am currently living out of my car and sleeping on the floor in an empty house for almost 2 months waiting on closing. Jay sills was the lending agent and he basically just ignored every avenue of communication with the buyers agent and our agent until it got passed to a Ritchie in California office after a bad review I left on Google. Thought Ritchie would get this done but turns out he is just as bad with getting things done and communication. We have had closing scheduled for yesterday but here we are waiting to see IF it will happen today. This has got to be the worst company for work ethic I've ever experienced and as a HR manager I would have terminated employment for practices such as these. I suggest anyone reading this to consider other lenders unless you want stress and aggravation.

As retirees, my wife and I needed to free up some extra cash each month. Thanks to Tony and his group, he was able to get us a good refinance rate that saved us a couple hundred dollars each month. At the same time, we were able to take cash out to do some much needed repairs. He was very patient with us, answering all our questions. He kept us up to date with the refi process accordingly and there were no issues during the process. I would recommend Tony and the PRMG group to my friends.

PRMG has a loyal customer for years to come because of Brittnay. I cannot say enough about working with Brittnay. She is attentive, and very communicative. This was probably the worst experience I ever had with a company. My first time house buying experience was going pretty well until I had to start working with this company. There was poor communication coming from this company, causing multiple delays. I stopped getting responses to emails I sent them about simple questions. I was delayed almost a week because they never received a document I sent (I called Richie Sorensen as soon as I sent it so there would be no delay) because the "systems had an update", and I had to call them and ask them about the delays. There was multiple times where I had to contact them to see what documents I need to provide them because they never provided it online. The icing on the cake was on my closing date, we ended up waiting 5 hours for them to send the closing documents. I'm not sure how this company has so many great reviews (so my review probably won't matter), but this was my experience and I hope no one else has to go through this.
