Preferred Land Title W 1st St, Farmington

Here's my experience with preferred land title. I needed a title search and transfer of deed. I spoke with Christine Laramore. I asked the difference between title search vs title insurance. I got a brief description. I waas told there is no guarantee with a title search. When I asked why anyone would not buy the insurance, her response was it's not her job to give me legal advice. I was told it would be up to two weeks. After two weeks I called and was told by the receptionist she would leave a message I called. Week three same response. Fourth week I got to talk to someone, I was told the reason for the delay was so many tax parcels on property. My response was thats funny considering the entire property was in St. Francois county. Her response was ohhh its in St Francois co. Week five I got original response of receptionist would let them know I called. I cancelled the order, went to American Heritage Abstract in Desloge. I owned the property two weeks later. There's my experience with preferred land title. Take from it what you will.

Best title company bar none. Great people- Kara with out doubt is an authority on matters. Chris Stewart's customer service is spectacular. Then there is Neal hard working & knowledgeable in so many aspects of the business. Thank you for all you do.

They were very nice and I got waited on fast and it's was a very clean and they take cautious step to keep it germ free.tysm for the wonderful job taking care of what I needed done.

We went through them when we bought a house. Good experience, employee was friendly, quick, and helpful. They did a nice little thank you card with coupons which was a nice gesture, sadly they had expired 2 month prior to our closing date. I don't have much experience, but I would recommend.

bought a town house 4 weeks ago and told them needed to close on 9/9 in the morning as I have crew ready to unload and need to return truck. They are dragging their feet and only response from them to either us or our agent is " WE'LL GET BACK WITH YOU" If I knew this was going to happen I'd gone elsewhere. 5 days till requested closing and everything is still in the air. No way to run this as stress with moving is bad enough.

When I dropped off all the papers for a simple sale,they said about 2 weeks but it's been 6 weeks and still nothing! I won't recommend them to anyone!

These good people will do everything possible to help you close your deal. I have never had a better closing experience. If you are selling or buying a home, call them!
