The staff has always been very polite and helpful every time I’ve bought stuff in there from jewelry to tools and even pawning a few items in tough times. They are gracious and understanding about arising situations and always willing to help or work with you if needed so you don’t lose your valuables. They’ve told me before they’d rather the get the money back for items instead of trying to flip the item you pawned. Will always do business with the guys and galz at Porters.

Made a purchase over the phone (perfect service, great price) and arrived days later to pick up the items. All of the clerks at the counter were taking excellent care of other clients, and Karen (who typically works behind-the-scenes) saw that I was waiting and helped me pick up my items. She was friendly and eager to help. The items were exactly as advertised, quality merchandise at a wonderful price! Thanks Karen and Porter’s Pawn!

These guys always top notch. I came in today, which is a Saturday, right at 5pm closing time. I walked in and apologized for holding them up at quitting time and These guys were still happy to help me buy what i needed. Pretty rare to have employees with such drive. I will always shop here. Saw a listing at Porter’s for a Cooper M92 280 AI that I had been searching at least 6 - 8 months for. I called Porter’s and spoke to Aaron. In less than 10 minutes he put a package together for me that included the mounting and bore sighting of a new Swarvorski scope. I live a state away and in less than 1 week the Cooper was delivered to my local FFL dealer. It was an extremely smooth transaction and at a reasonable price. Aaron kept me informed of the status and I would highly recommend them.

I've been doing business with Porter's for years. Probably from the time that they opened the store. The staff are awesome, I'm not sure of the guy's names but Cheryl has always treated me great. They are super friendly and she always calls me by my name, which to me means a lot. They take the time to remember you so you don't really feel like you are going into a store it's a lot more of a familiar atmosphere. Top notch all the way

They are extremely helpful. I ordered a Cooper and two Gunwerks rifles. PJ is an amazing help figuring out pros/cons for my set up. I have been buying guns my whole life, I haven’t met the people at Porters. It what I can say is that PJ had always done me right. He took my Cooper to the range a sighted the rifle in and it shoots some size holes. They have been trained by Gunwerks and they know how to mount a scope. I don’t like when I go to Cabelas and they mound the scope by “eyeballing it”

I am a relatively new customer from Minnesota who has never met anyone from Porters Pawn. Yet they have and still do treat me as if I'm they're best customer. My first purchase was a custom rifle that was late arriving from the manufacturer. My hunt was less than 2 weeks away and needless to say I was completely freaking out. They basically dropped everything and had it custom sighted it in and on my desk in two days! Can't recommend them enough, I am a customer for life!

Love doing business here. They have integrity. The staff is knowledgeable and personable, often greeting their customers by name and asking after a loved one who recently had surgery, how the bridal shower went, congratulating a child on making honor roll, etc. They care about their customers and the community. They don't just sell jewelry or sell guns. They have a creative jeweler and do high quality appraisals. Having people who are pros specifically in a certain type of merchandise is reassuring. It let's you know that they genuinely understand the quality of what they take in or sell and know what is fair.

The ultimate find all shop in one convenient location. The selection(s) are constantly changing and from Acoustic guitars to Zales jewelry the great people at Porter's has it. Super helpful and nice staff that will help you find what you may want. Professional jewelers on site that can help repair, evaluate, change the look of pieces either you or they have. I am in awe of what is contained within their walls! I have made purchases their and when they run specials you can get some great deals. They are Pawn shop orientated yet it has a feel of an ole thyme Mercantile store! The Porter's take it to the next level in customer care from buying to selling, they and their staff always have been super helpful. Absolutely awesome people. They will answer any questions you may have, and if they don't know the answer they can refer you to someone who does. Their all around knowledge of the products they carry is outstanding. They carry a large selection of new and used gun and jewelry. Always willing to make you a deal!!

I went in for some .303 ammo, and right off the bat I had polite service and a friendly atmosphere definitely will be back.

Not sure 😕 there was a very rude person working had a white go tee and was a complete D!<#!!! if you asked him for information concerning other stores in the area. basically if he doesn't have it you don't need it!!! And funny thing is that no other pawn shops were like that toward each other. I personally will never return to do any kind of business with porter's pawn!!! His words" I WILL NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION OR HELP YOU TO FIND MY COMPETITION!!!" so with that being said I will not recommend this place.

Porter's handled my parents' estate with incredible kindness and professionalism. We contacted them over the phone and they were very accommodating to come out to our home the same week. Their offers were very reasonable and they came prepared to buy and haul everything away with ease.

I've taken my business Porter's Pawn as long as it's been there the people are are good people down to earth when you can't pay a bill they will work with you I was just in there yesterday and pawned my high-powered pellet rifle they don't take those kind of rifles but they loaned me money on it anyway. they are just awesome people and they got great prices on everything so that's my spiel! They might be great on certain things but big Steves is more up-to-date. First I took some ultra rare retro Nintendo games in there that were worth anywhere between $200 and $600 each and they offered me a dollar apiece without even looking them up value wise. Today I took 70 original Nintendo games in there that were valued at anywhere from five dollars to $20 each and I was only asking $60 to pawn them. And they said they could only offer me $10. Don't waste your time with these people. I took the same rare games that were valued at $200-$600 each to big Steve's and he offered me $350 to pawn them where these guys offered me eight dollars.
