PNC Bank N Halsted St, Chicago

Horrible branch experience. I've been banking with PNC for over a decade and the quality has gone significantly downhill. I went in to this location today to get quarter for laundry. I was greeted by an unhelpful woman at the door and informed that the bank NO LONGER HAD TELLERS and therefore I wouldn't be able to get quarters. If I wanted to use an ATM I would've run to the corner store. She told me to go to another location, but honestly, at this point I'm considering fully taking my business to another bank. I'm irate that PNC believes its an acceptable practice to no longer staff tellers at locations when they're responsible for holding individuals money---I was essentially told I was unable to access money in my preferred form of currency which is honestly incorrigible and indicative of the continued drop in PNC's customer service.

It’s a nice PNC location wise and the facility is clean and nice. But I went in today to get an issue resolved with some unauthorized purchases made on my account. I was helped by Ms. Kenny. I really just wanted my card to be canceled and for those unauthorized purchases to be removed. It started fine and I explained to her what was going on. She started doing stuff on the computer without really explaining what but it was fine. Not a big deal. That is until she asked me about my credit card (a secured discover card). Long story short, she spent most of our time trashing my discover card and trying to sell me the PNC credit card. I don’t need another credit card! That is not what I went in there for. I had to keep redirecting the convo to my compromised debit card! In the end, I did get a new debit card on the spot, but the experience was pretty annoying. She did not seem nearly as concerned about my security breach as I was. No thanks. It’s no wonder I stick to ATM’s.

nice enough people but no change counting machine... One would think banks would own devices that count money but idk

An absolute joke of a bank and branch. Somehow it's a bank that does not have any cash. The only help that was offered to me was "I can show you how to use the ATM" which was pretty stupid since I needed more cash than an ATM will allow me to withdrawal. The young lady meeting people at the door was not helpful and rude.

The manager here is very friendly and experienced. He came to visit my shop and helped receiving my check book when my business is moving. Coming here makes me feel like this is my bank.

Please do something about this ATM. First of all, lower the volume on it, it's insane. Second, i just spent 15 minutes trying do deposit cash, and the machine would take only few bills at a time, and return the rest.

Horrible Bank! Never trust their offers! They will ignore in the end
