PNC Bank Reviews

Office smelled extremely heavily of perfume. Tried to set up an account with specific mobile features and was told, not problem. Now I found out it isn't available for my business account. Waste of my time and pnc is clearly a decade behind other banking institutions. Hour of my life wasted and a headache from the stink to show for it.

I went in for a credit card today and I'm so glad Barb helped me. She was so so kind and answered all my questions. Within the first 5 mins of talking to her you could tell how she genuinely cares for her customers. Would definitely recommend this bank! Thanks so much Barb!!!❤️

The tellers and managers have always gone out of their way to provide the best customer service available. When the business credit card was unexpectedly canceled because of a computer glitch, they worked tirelessly to correct the problem and I walked out with a new card and my credit intact. Many thanks PNC.

For the past 5 years, I have been a happy customer of PNC Bank. However, I regret to say that will no longer be the case. As of 12/09/2013, PNC Bank eliminated FREE checking accounts. I was NEVER notified of this change (by mail, email or phone call). Today, I found a charge of $7 taken from MY money out of MY account, again, WITHOUT any type of communication. I called my bank immediately after seeing this, only to learn that they had wrongly taken the liberty to change my account from a FREE checking account (which was the ONLY reason I even chose PNC) and changed it to a STANDARD account, which must have a MINIMUM of $500 in it or charges will be taken out. Because I am part of the hard working "middle class", whenever I have money, most of it goes to bills, not banks. I am close to many people who have or are working in a bank, who would willingly testify that most banks easily lack patience or compassion, and lose grasp of reality's cold truth: that the average person can NOT afford $500 to sit in a vault, useless. I already do not trust banks with my money and this experience has caused me to lose a great amount of trust and respect for banks, particularly PNC. It saddens me to say this, as PNC was the only bank I first trusted with my money. It is a well know fact that the PURPOSE of most banks is to serve to accept deposits and make loans. They act as safe stores of wealth for savers and as predictable sources of loans for borrowers... this is no longer their mindset in such a political, power-hungry world. Carefully watch ANY and ALL online accounts, whether they are bank accounts or your email or facebook. The dangerous people are NOT just sneak thieves in the middle of the night, but rather those who are closest to your information and money.

Worse bank ever! They always ask how they can make my banking easier? Do your job for once! One time would make my banking easier! Go somewhere else!

The manager here is very unprofessional and rude. She makes mean comments about your personal financial choices and is not helpful at all. Extremely pushy and asks unnecessary questions. She talks badly about her tellers to customers and other tellers. The tellers were very kind and manager needs to learn their manners. I was so disgusted by her rude behavior that I am seriously thinking about leaving this bank all together. She thinks she knows everything even though she has worked at this bank for a couple of years and I’ve been a customer longer than she has worked here. Absolutely baffled by her rude and unprofessional behavior, highly don’t recommend going to this bank location if you want good service and decent treatment. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this bank location!

You're telling me a bank doesn't have 6k on hand? Lol the teller tells me sorry we don't have that much money after wasting 15 minutes of my time. One thing I don't like is when a bank lies to me. It's my money if I want to withdraw it I can. Funny I went to Brighton PNC and told them the situation and they were confused on how they wouldn't have the money. Needless to say go to PNC Brighton. Also the Manager at the South Lyon location why would you have a customer on speaker for other customers to hear talking about his personal account?

Best bank ever! 💙 They spoiled my little boy while I was taking care of my things and we had a few good laughs! This was honestly a fun experience while still being professional. I wish I remembered their names!

Why have this symbol on your atm if it doesn't work. Keep up with the times if you want my business. Guess I'm staying with Chase.

Worst bank. I regret opening my account in this bank.
