Completely disgusted with this bank. We had a death in the family and the will and trust were on the account when opened. We provided death certificate and trust documents 3x and tried to deposit over 500000. To consolidate and pay final bills. Tiffany assisted another family member and explained he needed to bring in documents to be allowed to take care of banking. Upon bringing all of those documents we were told that we would need to hold onto the documents for up to 5 business days. The 3 of us, (still grieving) were treated to an unbelievably condescending behaviour by Tiffany and a middle age man who tried to intimidate us. Tiffany put her hand to her chest, (soap opera style) and laughed and said, "have I done something to offend you)" no question mark because the way it was said was an insult. Avoid this bank at all costs. We should have consolidated with Choice One where we were treated in a humane and professional manner. Also, my brother returned with check made out the way Tiffany insisted it had to be written and she refused to look up the account. Fortunately, my brother had the account number. PNC provided my mother with issues in Florida which is why she closed that account on my recommendation. DO NOT USE THIS BRANCH. The estate rep from Troy Michigan was more than helpful and I do appreciate her help.

After seeing all the negative reviews I am surprised. Over the years the managers have helped me settle any over drafts, get a card replaced for free, advised me on services I was interested in and helped better understand how to take advantage of their monthly offers. Like all places you may have to wait in line or abide by their regulations, once that's understood than it should be easy to do your banking.

I despise this bank. They change their policies without telling you anything...not only do I hate this bank but I hate the customer service and every PNC bank in general....I went under 500 in my account and they started taking money out every month without telling me, I called customer service to ask why the fee was charged, he said "I don't know, let me refund you the money" long story short, the money was refunded and then the next month 7 dollars was taken out again...I called customer service once more...and they said they charge a monthly fee for not having at least 500 dollars in the account...I tried explaining that I don't have a job at the moment and that I have no money coming in right now, they didn't care...they pretty much said that isn't their problem and that is the fee they charge. They said their policy changed in June 2017, no one ever told me this and the guy on the phone was a jerk. I tried getting my refund because no one informed me of this but they said they can't do that because I already had a one time refund from the last time, even though they never told me about their monthly fee until now. I had to close my account because of them and create a joint account with my girlfriend. She has a student account. So they aren't supposed to take money out of it. But now that I am on there they charged us a 15 dollar fee for transferring money from growth to spend too many times. Even though they said their wouldn't be any charges....they never told us about it until they sent us a statement in the mail saying they charged 15 bucks because there were too many transfers. They never warn you, never tell you anything until the money is already taken out....we went to the Lapeer branch and got the money refunded but now we both have to go in and sign papers before they stop taking money out...I hate this bank so much, I never would recommend them to anyone. They are a bunch of greedy bastards who care about nothing besides sucking as much money out of you as they possibly can...they change their policies too much and never tell you anything. They are nothing but a bunch of Sly, theiving bastards who need to be put out of business...everyone should stop banking with them, close your accounts and just save the money...I am switching banks soon because I can't stand them anymore.

They lost a $250 deposit. I went in to see why it wasn't in my account yet after several days. After an hour or two, they found it in the trash. If I would have gone a day later, it would have been shredded. I closed my account and use a different bank now.

Not a customer nor will I ever be one. Their exceedingly poor handling of a mortgage loan for the buyer of my home caused me headaches and heartache. Twice this bank gave my buyers the clear to close and twice PNC backtracked because they couldn't do their job correctly. PNC also employs "yes" men who make promises not kept and tell you what you want to hear just to get you off their backs. NEVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS BANK!!!!! THEY DON'T GIVE A DAMN!!!!!

Don't waste your money with these crooks. They have hidden fees and charges to steal your money and offer you nothing.

I’m with some other people insofar as wondering why all the negative reviews- I have many accounts here as well as does most of my entire family. I’ve been with this bank since it was National City. Only thing is that they finally changed the account names, policies, etc over to their own which was a bit confusing as to fees, etc.

Only gave one star because 0 stars is not an option. My husband went into the bay city lafayette branch to close his account. The banker that took his request and then did not cancel his debit card and did not bother to call us to let us know that charges had come through and the account could not be closed at that time. When I realized this two days later and called the branch, the asst manager Jessica said"yes they messed up and didn't call us about the account having new charges and being negative but she was going to do anything to fix it". I called the customer service line and filed a complaint against the branch. I then received a call from the branch manager 3 days later stating that she would take care of everything and make it right. She stated that it would take a few days to get the approvals but when she did she would call me. It has been 2 weeks since this call from her and I have not received a call back as promised and she refuses to take my calls when I call the branch and never returns the call as requested on her voicemail. WORST BANK EVER!! Unless you like giving your money away, avoid this bank at all costs!

I have worked with several different banks & PNC is the best by such a long shot. They know their stuff. They greet people personally. ALL staff is knowledgeable and kind. I couldn't be happier with the service PNC has rendered. Above & beyond.
