PNC Bank Edwardsville Crossing Dr, Edwardsville

This location stopped using their drive-thru and now requires all transactions be completed by the account owner at the ATM. I have had numerous issues with the PNC atm and to be told that I have no other option than to fumble through the process is unacceptable. When I am able to do so I will be closing my account and switching to Busey.

Don’t bother going inside! This is a cashless bank, so all deposits/withdrawals must be done through their ATM.

PNC has been accommodating I get with my checking free cashier's checks, money orders and cheaper overseas wire transfers. My security box was 250-300 now I get them at 130/year. They are very polite and always professional. When I have a question they answer it promptly or find someone who knows the answer. All this with a seamless tenacity. Occasionally they have had to email me the answers which they always have usually the same day or next. I use to use Chase, Huntington with long distance banking over the Internet but now my preference is with PNC. Give them a try and i bet you will see their proficiency too.

Unfortunately PNC made it very hard to open a business acount. Too many policies in place; however this is not the staffs fault right? Well, each staff member I talked to told me a different process every time I talked to them on the phone or via email. I spent a lot of my time waiting in the lobby for some kind of help. After two weeks nothing ever got accomplished. Went to Scott Credit Union and got a non-profit account opened in 30 minutes. My wife works at a bank and she’s made me very aware of the laws for a non-profit account as compared to the staffs’ laws they came up with. I’m sure the staff there are very sweet people, but their branches policies and the teams’ lack of knowledge lost another customer. I highly highly highly recommend you don’t waste your time.

I LOVE PNC!!! Been a customer for 6 years now. Havent had any issues with staff (Dawn is AWESOME) or with customer service over the phone. I have other accounts at other banks, as well, but that is so I can pay off specific items.

PNC really cares about their customers, I just had to switch banks from Bank of America in town, since they were so awful. I was with them for 8 years, and they never cared about my issues let alone fixed their ATM! Switching to PNC was so easy, and their employees are very helpful. Their checking/savings accounts are so much easier to access, and I like the options they provide for bill pay, it makes budgeting so much easier. They also allow you to opt out of overdraft fees which is nice. BoA charged them like it was fun and you had no option of declining pending payments. Takes a lot of stress off my shoulders. Thanks for making the switch easy and painless!

This location is now switching to a "cashless" bank. You now have to use the ATM for any kind of cash deposit or withdrawal. What's the point of the bank then? I'm sorry but everywhere takes cash but not everywhere takes card. I'll be switching banks asap.

We had to switch banks when we moved to the area since Wells Fargo doesn't have any branches here. Glad we decided to stop in to see what PNC had to offer. Dawn was wonderful - helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The Virtual Wallet accounts felt like a perfect match for our banking needs. It was great to talk to somebody who seemed to actually cared about helping us get things set up.

I opened an account 3 years ago after a trying experience with a local credit union and every moment of interaction with the bank has been great. The staff is always friendly and answers any questions that I have. The time I had my debit card info stolen by a skimmer, I went into the bank and they calmed me down and walked me through the process and got me back into working order. While the savings account rates arent super competitive with, say, an online bank; Absolutely nothing beats having real people to talk to when you need help.

Do not go to PNC if you have the choice. I have had nothing but trouble. There is nothing wrong with this particular branch, but the limited payment options, issues with mailing address, ridiculous policy requirements to change your address, and lack of visibility to cash payment until they have been officially posted makes it more of a pain than its worth.
