I have dealt with PNC for 40 years and my experience has been a mixed bag at best. On a few occasions they have been very helpful, however at certain times they have cost me money with poor service and improper information. I would get one story from one rep and then a completely different story from another rep at the same branch. This has caused me to literally lose thousands of dollars over the years because I made decisions based on information they gave me. They need to get on the same page and better train their employees to give consistent and correct information when it comes to their customers. I would advise that you request any critical information you need from them be put in writing before you make any financial decisions based on the info they verbally give you. Unfortunately, I have heard similar stories from friends and relatives on other major banks so switching banks does not seem like the answer either. The bottom line in my experience with PNC is to get the info in writing or at least take a page from their play book and advise them that this call is being recorded.

ATM has trouble reading cash deposits. I have tried on three separate occasions to deposit money into this branch's ATM and every time it cannot read the bills. The notes are crisp, clean and in varying amount (10, 20, 50) needs servicing, the problem has persisted for several months. It is a major inconvenience to customers who are up early or cannot visit the bank during open lobby hours.

Really helpful getting money left by relative

Doesn’t matter if you have an appointment or not. Wait time is still forever.

They deposited my business check into my personal account and now my funds for business are not available. Would they do a transfer over the phone to fix the mistake? No, they will not. It is on me to go into the bank. Incompetence backed with inability or unwillingness to help. Oh, and that was after navigating through all of their automated voice prompts on the phone, none of which respond to "You messed me up!"

Absolutely terrible experience. Hands down one of the worst branches I’ve ever been to. Lacking professionalism and hospitality. What a shame.
