PNC Bank Capital Ave, Battle Creek

PNC Bank charges 2% to cash one of their own checks. on my 4 thousand dollar check,they wanted $88 dollars to cash it because I don't have a personal account with them.why any bank would charge to cash one of their own checks that one of their members made out to someone is beyond my understanding.I will never personally do business with or open an account with PNC bank

Always a friendly atmosphere when you walk in and the staff always goes an extra mile to make sure your banking experience is a good one. Even had a manager walk me to the ATM(attached to the building) and showed me how to deposit my check.

Overdrafts are handled unfair with high fees that exceed the actual overdraft and overdraft protection doesn’t prevent anything.

Used ATM and it worked efficiently

Called to cancle my card due to losing it , well they cancled my husbands card instead and called me to inform me of the mistake and didnt even apologize or act like i should care , like it happens all the time ??? . we have a joint account but different cards with different rumbers on it so not sure why the mistake was made in the first place . so i was left with no money to be used and bills needed to be payed . they told be to come in and they would issue me and my husband new cards due to them cancleing both instead of just mine , also was told they would wave the fee of the new cards sense this was thier fault and for the inconvienece of not being able to use our money in the account for the next 48 hours sense they called at 4:30 and they close at 5 , and my husband worked the day after until five and we have one car . then looked online to see how much money we had left in our account sence electric is due soon and i was charged 7.50 for each card ! So un impressed with thier costomer service skills and so mad that they didnt handle this issue better . we have been with pnc for years and now i want to just close my account. Would give 0 stars if i could. Also when i went in to get me and hubbys new cards , a woman was calling because her card was never givin back to her and she couldnt get in for 2 days because she was going out of town . how unprofessional and un organized of this place to cancle the wrong card even though i gave them my name and ss# to match my card , and then not even give someone back thier card ! Going to have to call and make sure my new card charges get taken off but wish this woukd have just been done in the first place like the man working there promised me . just such a hassle on our part to deal with due to negligence and simply not paying attention . working at a bank where your handleing money and peoples accounts you think they would doubble check things before just doing it . really questioning management for hiring incompetent workers who make these sort of mistakes. Its not mcdonalds people !

I have nothing but good things to say. about pnc especially the one on romence in Kalamazoo. People there are so friendly. Always help to my expectations. Have only banked for 3 yrs. So far so good. Thank you Sheryl on rommence
