Pioneer - Latham Branch Troy Schenectady Rd, Latham

I recently changed my personal and business banking to pioneer and I couldn't be happier! The personal service I receive is such a welcomed change from the bank I had been using for many years. Alisa, my contact with pioneer at the Latham branch never ceases to amaze me. She is always a pleasure to deal with and is always there when I need something big or small. In the short time I've been with them, I already know I won't be doing my banking anywhere else. I've even set up accounts there for my teenage children. Thank you, as always, Pioneer and Alisa for making my banking easy and all transactions seamless!

I feel like I am part of the Pioneer family when I do business at the Pioneer location in Latham. Michelle and her entire team do everything they can to make me feel like a valued business and personal banking customer. My best banking experience in 35 years in business.

I have been with Pioneer Bank since it was located in the old Latham Circle Mall and have done regular weekly banking, have dealt with all forms of customer service and have had a few mortgages with Pioneer. I have to disagree with all the negative comments as I think the customer service is awesome!

ALWAYS EXCEED MY EXPECTATIONS... i grew up in 'vliet where there has always been a pioneer bank branch...but was told (wrongly perhaps) at an early age that relationships with COMMERCIAL banks offered advantages that savings banks could not provide. i therefore never had a relationship with pioneer despite the fact that my mom and brother both held savings/checking accounts, along with taking out auto and home loans there. i recently lost a parent...and had to step up to manage a good portion of the surviving spouses' finances. this caused me to regularly interact with the folks at the latham pioneer branch...and i have to say that every time i go into that bank needing something (from cashing bonds, to counter checks, to cashing checks, to teller checks) i am ALWAYS IMPRESSED with the culture and level of customer service provided by the bank staff. on at least three occasions in the prior six months...i requested services that i expected to pay for (that most all banks charge for)...and was amazed to learn that there was NO CHARGE for any of them. (printed account transaction records, and printed checks included). furthermore, the passing of a parent required that several legal docs be notarized...and there are ALWAYS qualified staff at this branch that work to make the process quick and painless (ie, FREE). if you are looking for a local bank with a keen focus on customer service and satisfaction, let me suggest the latham pioneer branch. stop in, introduce yourself to Kwun Chan or one of his equally qualified colleagues, grab a cup of coffee if you'd like...and establish a relationship. if my experience with this branch is any indication...you too will feel that your finances are in good hands, and that you've made a great decision.

I love banking at Pioneer because the staff is always friendly and genuinely happy to see me. They're also conveniently located right off the Circle.

I absolutely love the staff at the Latham Pioneer branch! Not only are they knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, but they are also compassionate. I have been going there for years and won’t go anywhere else. They have become like an extended family and when I had a serious medical situation, they were caring, concerned and supportive. They not only focus on the intricate details of handling your finances, but cultivating relationships with their customer as well.

I have had nothing but great experiences at the Pioneer Latham Branch. Everyone is professional, helpful, and they make the process smooth. If you're looking for a new bank in the area, would highly recommend.

It's always a pleasure coming to this bank and seeing the friendly smiles of the amazing representatives, coupled with their wonderful customer service creates a great experience each and every time. This means a lot coming from me as I'm a socially awkward mess. 😅 5/5 would recommend.
