Recently closed on our second investment property this year with Pioneer title, the closer was professional and courteous. Everything was done in a timely manner and the transaction went smoothly. As a real estate professional you tend to have elevated expectations when conducting personal business and this company delivered.

Good luck trying to get ahold of anyone at this place. They are either “not available” or “at lunch”. If you leave a voice message and they’ll never call back. If you’re lucky enough to get them to call back 90% of the time they can’t even answer your questions and the person that knows the answer is typically “not available” or “at lunch”. Also pay as much of your dues I.e. Homeowners Insurance, inspections, etc. before closing because if you don’t they won’t received your money and will want you to contact this company and if you can’t get information such as check they’ll cancel your policy. UPDATE Do not trust this company with your money in escrow. I payed money for escrow when I closed on my house in January and they have failed repeatedly at paying my insurance company the money I gave them at closing. It has gotten to the point that my insurance company has cancelled my policy. If you can pay everything on your own at closing do it yourself. This place is literally the worst company I’ve ever worked with.

Pioneer Abstract & Title Co were excellent to work with. I was kept updated on what was happening constantly and as it happened. The process was easy and very well organized. I loved the idea of signing all of the documents electronically; it made it so easy and convenient. I instantly received copies of each document I signed which gave me peace of mind that everything was moving forward without any issues. Thanks again for all your help. Keep up the good work!

Pioneer title and abstract have been absolutely nothing but exceptional in what they do thank you

I do NOT recommend Pioneer Abstract and Title. I have a significant amount of experience buying and selling residential property and this was far and away the worst experience I have had with a title company. The company was quick to blame "The Pandemic" or being "swamped". - Communication was exceptionally poor. I never, not even once, received any reply via email or through their Qualia portal. The only time I was able to get answers was by calling, leaving a message, and waiting for a call-back (which typically never came). - The title commitment was NEVER provided to me from Pioneer. My agent had to forward to me what was given to her. - An additional document that I requested be added to the closing was nowhere close to what was discussed/requested. It was not a standard NM form as I was told it would be, and some of the statements in the final document were flat made-up and were never discussed with me. Some of the information was an error and non-factual. Additionally, that document was provided so late in the process there was no time to change it to meet my original intent. - The settlement statement was finally provided at the very end of business two business days prior to closing which forced a scramble to get the right funds in the right place to meet the closing deadline. As late as that was, it only happened after my agent had to repeatedly call Pioneer to get status updates. - They changed their wire instructions (different bank account) part way through the closing process and didn't bother to update anyone. It was my bank that caught the error. If not for having a Buyer's Agent willing to reach out to Pioneer I do not feel confident that requirements would have been met on time, and closing would have been delayed. Find another title company to do business with if at all possible.

You don't have to settle for less. Jim deer has no idea what pride of ownership means, it doesn't mean blaming the pandemic or a software system that has many flaws. He has no compassion for employees and their personal problems.he gas no empathy for anyone or anything. Bottom line is profits before people.

Everything is still being done on paper with faxing. We could have signed electronically and been done 2 weeks sooner.
